# Cross-Channel Offer Consistency Audit (`a.klimm67/cross-channel-offer-consistency-audit`) Actor

Compare English copy you paste from 2–8 channels for one offer. Flags possible differences in explicit same-currency prices, refund windows, and access wording with exact source quotes. Lists file-format mentions for review. No live crawl, checkout test, or legal verdict.

## Pricing

$10.00 / 1,000 offer audits

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Cross-Channel Offer Consistency Audit

Compare **copy you paste** from two to eight channels for the same product. The report highlights possible conflicts in explicit prices, refund windows, and access terms, with source labels and verbatim quotes. It also lists mentioned file formats for manual review.

### When to use it

A seller updates a listing but forgets the FAQ or checkout note. Paste the current text of each surface and review the report before publishing. This is a conservative copy check, not a live website crawler.

### Input

```json
{
  "offerName": "Study planner",
  "sources": [
    {"channel": "Store listing", "text": "USD 19.00 one-time purchase. 30-day refund. PDF download."},
    {"channel": "FAQ", "text": "USD 24.00 one-time purchase. Refund within 14 days. PDF download."}
  ],
  "includeMentions": true
}
```

Each source needs a unique label (1–80 characters) and 1–20,000 characters of English text. Use 2–8 sources about **one offer**. Do not paste secrets or buyer details. Apify retains input and output according to your account/storage settings.

### Output

One dataset item has `status`, `issue_count`, `issues`, `mentions`, and `limitations`. Each issue has a field, an explanatory reason, and exact quoted evidence from the supplied source. In the example, price and refund windows are flagged; the shared PDF mention is evidence, not an issue. If terms are absent, the Actor cannot determine whether they agree. If multiple prices appear within a source, the Actor avoids flagging a cross-channel price mismatch because tiers and promotions may explain it.

### Limits and interpretation

- English copy only. Deterministic patterns can miss paraphrases and context.
- Price differences are flagged only when both sources state a single amount in the **same explicit currency**. An unqualified `$` is not compared across channels.
- Different refund periods are marked as **possible** conflicts, never a legal verdict. Access wording is similarly conservative.
- File formats are extracted for review but not compared as contradictions: a product may legitimately include both a ZIP and a PDF.
- The Actor does not visit live pages, inspect product files, test checkout or delivery, apply marketplace rules, or certify compliance.
- Do not use the output as a substitute for human review of the actual buyer experience.

### Pricing

One `offer-audited` event is charged for one valid comparison and one dataset report. Invalid input produces an error row without an event charge. Confirm the current event price on the Apify pricing panel before running.

### Privacy and support

Use only copy you are permitted to process. The Actor makes no outbound page requests. Share a redacted sample and run ID when reporting a problem; do not send private buyer data.

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("a.klimm67/cross-channel-offer-consistency-audit").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
