## Changelog

### Build 1.0.8 — October 2026 (flights-1.0-rc7)

- A backwards departure date range no longer fails the run. A likely year typo ("2027-02-01" to "2026-02-25") is read as the same date in the next year; otherwise the two dates are swapped, whichever gives the shorter range.
- A date range that is already over is searched on the same dates in the next year they can be searched.
- Each correction is logged and added to the dataset as a "warning" row, which is not charged.
- Code only: prices, title, categories and visibility are unchanged.

### Build 1.0.6 — October 2026

- Searches retried through IPs from another country (after a consent page) carry the same market warning as the other fallback.
- Code only: prices, title, categories and visibility are unchanged.

### Build 1.0.5 — October 2026

- A cookie-consent answer from Google (it depends on the IP's region) is retried once through IPs from another country, when the run has them.
- A search that finds no flights after Google answered with blocks is asked once more on a new IP, instead of being reported as empty.
- Code change only: prices, title, categories and visibility are unchanged.

### 1.0.3 — October 2026

- **Date ranges**: search every departure date between *Departure dates from* and *Departure dates to*, or only Fridays and Saturdays with *Weekends only*; *Maximum searches* caps a run.
- Prices by Apify plan: a flight costs $0.0012 (Free), $0.001 (Starter), $0.0009 (Scale) or $0.0008 (Business); booking options $0.006 to $0.004; calendar dates stay $0.0002; the start fee stays $0.005. Event names are now "Flight", "Booking options (all sellers)" and "Calendar date".
- *Maximum cost per run* is also respected with plan prices: when Apify doesn't say the user's plan, the run budgets at the Free price.
- Germany and other markets where Apify's datacenter proxy has no local IPs: the run uses its IPs from other countries (prices stay in the market's currency) and notes it on each row.
- New listing title and README: cost table per plan, Python and JavaScript examples, MCP link, related tools.

### 1.0 — October 2026

First public release.

- One-way, round-trip and **multi-city** (up to 5 flights) flight lists for any route and date: price, airlines, flight numbers, airports, local times, duration, stops, layovers, aircraft, legroom, amenities, CO2 emissions and self-transfer warnings.
- Google's price insight on every flight (low / typical / high and the typical price range), plus an optional price-insight row with about 60 days of price history.
- **Complete trips**: return flights (or the following multi-city flights) for the top first flights, with the exact price of each trip.
- **Booking options**: every seller and fare for the top flights, with bags included and Google's booking link.
- **Price calendars**: the cheapest fare for up to 300 consecutive departure dates per route, and the 5 cheapest dates in the run summary.
- Several airports per side, city codes (NYC, LON, PAR...), relative dates for schedules, and Google Flights links as input.
- Google Flights filters: stops, airlines and alliances, price, duration, layover length, connecting airports, departure and arrival times, bags, basic economy, emissions, cabin, passengers, sort order.
- Any currency, country and language; proxy IPs from the chosen country.
- Reliability: session/IP rotation, capped backoff, time limit per request, fallback to the Google Flights results page, residential fallback, parallel sessions, resume after restarts.
- Pay per flight returned, plus a small start fee; failed searches, searches without flights, booking lookups without sellers and calendar dates without a fare are free; *Maximum cost per run* is respected across event types and parallel sessions.
- Crash- and migration-safe billing: progress is saved before every charge.
