## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Temu Ad Library Scraper

![Temu Ad Library Scraper](https://i.ibb.co/hJCp2GVS/ads-temu-banner.png)

**Temu Ad Library Scraper** extracts ads from the [Temu Ad Library](https://ads.temu.com/library) into clean, structured data you can download as JSON, CSV, Excel, or HTML. Type a product name, advertiser, or payer, or paste a library search URL, and get the promoted product, advertiser, who paid for the ad, country, first and last shown dates, and impressions for every ad. No account or login required.

### Introduction

The [Temu Ad Library](https://ads.temu.com/library) is Temu's public advertising archive for its EU sites, published under the EU Digital Services Act. It lists the ads shown in the 27 EU countries over the past year, with the promoted product, the advertiser, and the person or company that paid for each ad.

This actor collects the same public information you see in your browser and turns it into a ready-to-use dataset. You can run it once, schedule it to run daily, or connect it to your own tools.

### What data can you extract from the Temu Ad Library?

- 🛍️ Promoted product name, product ID, image, and product link on Temu
- 🏢 Advertiser name and who paid for the ad
- 🌍 Country where the ad was shown
- 📅 First and last shown dates
- 👀 Number of impressions
- 🚫 Ads removed for a policy reason, with the reason given by Temu
- 🔗 Ad ID for every ad

### Use Cases

- 📈 **Market research**: see which products sellers push with ads on Temu, by country and category.
- 🕵️ **Competitor monitoring**: follow the ads of a specific advertiser or payer and how long they run.
- 🤝 **Lead generation**: build a list of active Temu advertisers in a product category.
- 🗂️ **Database building**: keep your own archive of Temu ads before they leave the one-year library window.
- ⚖️ **Compliance and research**: study ad transparency data and removed ads across EU countries.
- 🤖 **AI and automation**: feed clean, structured data into spreadsheets, dashboards, or AI workflows.

### How to scrape the Temu Ad Library step by step

1. Type keywords into **Search queries**, or paste Temu Ad Library search result URLs into **Start URLs**.
2. Choose what the queries match in **Search by**, and optionally pick a **Country**, **Product category**, and publication dates.
3. Set **Max results** to how many ads you want per query or URL.
4. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
5. Download your data in JSON, CSV, Excel, or HTML from the **Output** tab.

### Input

- **Search queries**: keywords to search in the Temu ad library, one per line. Each query is scraped separately with the filters below.
- **Start URLs**: Temu Ad Library search result URLs (`ads.temu.com/library/search-result.html?...`). All filters in the URL (country, category, dates, search type) are kept.
- **Search by**: what the search queries match: product name, advertiser, or who paid for the ad.
- **Country**: one of the 27 EU countries, or all of them.
- **Product category**: one of the 35 Temu product categories, or all of them.
- **Published from** and **Published until**: only ads published in this date range. The library keeps ads from 2025-09-01 on.
- **Max results**: how many ads to collect for each search query or start URL. Use 0 for unlimited.

Search by, Country, Product category, and the dates apply to search queries only. You can use start URLs, search queries, or both in the same run.

### Input Examples

Search ads by product name:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["dress"],
  "searchBy": "productName",
  "country": "all",
  "category": "all",
  "maxResults": 5
}
```

Scrape a library search URL (lamp ads shown in Germany):

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    {
      "url": "https://ads.temu.com/library/search-result.html?regionId=76&queryType=1&queryKeyWords=lamp"
    }
  ],
  "maxResults": 5
}
```

All ads of one advertiser in France since June 2026:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["Huanghong"],
  "searchBy": "advertiser",
  "country": "france",
  "dateFrom": "2026-06-01",
  "maxResults": 100
}
```

### Output

Each ad is saved as one item in the dataset. Here is an example of a single item:

```json
{
  "url": "https://www.temu.com/goods.html?_bg_fs=1&goods_id=607562397248761&top_gallery_url=https://img.kwcdn.com/product/open/11da93013d5f45ecaca9edabfaf754a1-goods.jpeg&locale_exemption_scene=ads_temu&locale_override=69~~",
  "adId": "300000086712743105",
  "productId": "607562397248761",
  "productName": "Cute Curly-Haired Brown Poodle Print Women's House Slippers with Red Bows & Golden Star Swirl Accents, ...",
  "advertiser": "Huanghong",
  "payer": "Huanghong",
  "imageUrl": "https://img.kwcdn.com/product/open/11da93013d5f45ecaca9edabfaf754a1-goods.jpeg",
  "country": "France",
  "countryId": 69,
  "firstShownDate": "2026-09-27T00:00:00Z",
  "lastShownDate": "2026-10-26T00:00:00Z",
  "impressions": 5,
  "isRemoved": false,
  "adPolicy": null
}
```

You can download the dataset in JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or HTML, or access it through the Apify API.

### Notes

- Only Temu Ad Library search result URLs are supported; other pages (home, FAQ) are skipped.
- The library covers ads shown on Temu's EU sites over the past year (from 2025-09-01 on).
- Ads that Temu removed for a policy reason have no product name, advertiser, or payer; `isRemoved` is `true` and `adPolicy` holds the reason.
- The same product can appear several times, once per country where it was advertised; each one is a separate ad with its own ad ID.
- Broad searches (for example a single common word with all countries) can return millions of ads, so keep **Max results** at a sensible number.

### Why use the Temu Ad Library Scraper?

- ✅ **No login needed**: works with public data only, so there is no account to manage.
- 🎯 **Keeps your filters**: paste any search URL from the library and get exactly what you see there.
- 🔎 **All library filters**: search by product, advertiser, or payer, and filter by country, category, and dates.
- 🧹 **Clean data**: dates in one standard format, impressions as real numbers, and product IDs ready to join with other Temu data.
- 💸 **Pay for what you need**: set a result limit per query or URL and keep every run small and cheap.
- 🔄 **Ready for automation**: schedule runs, export to Google Sheets, or connect to Make, Zapier, and n8n.
