## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Tapestry Jobs Scraper

![Tapestry Jobs Scraper](https://i.ibb.co/npFvp8v/careers-tapestry-banner.png)

**Tapestry Jobs Scraper** extracts job openings from [Tapestry careers](https://www.tapestry.com/careers/), the job board for Coach, Kate Spade and Tapestry corporate roles, into clean, structured data you can download as JSON, CSV, Excel, or HTML. Paste a job board search URL or type a few keywords, and get the job title, brand, department, job type, location, posting date, pay range, full description and apply link for every job. No account or login required.

### Introduction

[Tapestry](https://www.tapestry.com/careers/) is the New York based house of luxury fashion brands behind Coach and Kate Spade. Its career site lists thousands of open roles worldwide, from store associates and store managers to design, technology, finance and supply chain positions in its corporate offices.

This actor collects the same public information you see on the Tapestry job board and turns it into a ready-to-use dataset. You can run it once, schedule it to run daily to catch new openings, or connect it to your own tools.

### What data can you extract from Tapestry careers?

- 🏷️ Job title, requisition ID and job posting ID
- 👜 Brand (Coach, Kate Spade or Tapestry) and company name
- 🗂️ Department (career area), job type (regular, temporary, intern...) and time type (full time or part time)
- 🏠 Work arrangement (onsite, hybrid, hybrid flex) when published
- 📍 Location text, all job locations, city, store or office name, state, country and country code
- 📅 Posting date and application deadline (when set)
- 💲 Pay range as published, plus minimum and maximum pay as numbers
- 📝 Full job description as plain text
- 🔗 Job page URL, apply URL and whether the job is open for applications

### Use Cases

- 📈 **Labor market research**: track how many retail and corporate roles Coach and Kate Spade open, where, and at what pay.
- 🕵️ **Competitor monitoring**: follow the hiring activity of a major luxury fashion group by brand, department and country.
- 🤝 **Recruiting and job alerts**: build a feed of new store manager, sales or design openings for candidates.
- 🗂️ **Database building**: keep your own searchable archive of Tapestry job postings and pay ranges.
- 🤖 **AI and automation**: feed clean, structured job data into spreadsheets, dashboards, or AI workflows.

### How to scrape Tapestry careers step by step

1. Paste one or more Tapestry job board URLs into **Start URLs**, or type keywords into **Search queries**.
2. Optionally pick a **Brand**, **Department**, **Country**, **Job type**, **Time type** or **Work arrangement** for your search queries.
3. Set **Maximum number of results** to how many jobs you want per URL or per query.
4. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
5. Download your data in JSON, CSV, Excel, or HTML from the **Output** tab.

### Input

- **Start URLs**: Tapestry job board URLs to scrape. Supported pages: search result pages of the job board (https://tapestry.wd108.myworkdayjobs.com/Tapestry_Careers) and single job pages. Any filters you apply on the job board (brand, department, country, state, city, job type, time type, work arrangement and keyword) are kept in the results. Old careers.tapestry.com search links also work; only their keyword is used.
- **Search queries**: keywords to search on the Tapestry job board, one per line, such as a job title, skill or place. Each query is scraped separately.
- **Maximum number of results**: how many jobs to collect for each start URL or search query. Use 0 for no limit.
- **Brand**, **Department**, **Country**, **Job type**, **Time type**, **Work arrangement**: optional filters for search queries. You can pick several values in each. Start URLs keep the filters already in the URL.

You can use start URLs, search queries, or both in the same run.

### Input Examples

Scrape all Kate Spade jobs from a job board search URL:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    {
      "url": "https://tapestry.wd108.myworkdayjobs.com/Tapestry_Careers?Brand=528f8d9e5d1b1000f71765d1d6600000"
    }
  ],
  "maxResults": 5
}
```

Search by keywords:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["store manager"],
  "maxResults": 5
}
```

### Output

Each job is saved as one item in the dataset. Here is an example of a single item:

```json
{
  "url": "https://tapestry.wd108.myworkdayjobs.com/Tapestry_Careers/job/Lone-Tree-Colorado-USA-Park-Meadows---Coach/Store-Manager_JR20115",
  "jobReqId": "JR20115",
  "jobPostingId": "Store-Manager_JR20115",
  "title": "Store Manager",
  "company": "Tapestry, Inc.",
  "brand": "Coach",
  "department": "Field Sales",
  "jobType": "Regular",
  "timeType": "Full time",
  "remoteType": null,
  "location": "Lone Tree, Colorado, USA (Park Meadows - Coach)",
  "locations": ["Lone Tree, Colorado, USA (Park Meadows - Coach)"],
  "city": "Lone Tree",
  "applyBefore": null,
  "payRange": "$70,000.00-$114,000.00",
  "payMin": 70000,
  "payMax": 114000,
  "description": "Coach is a global fashion house founded in New York in 1941. Inspired by the vision of Creative Director Stuart Vevers and the inclusive and courageous spirit of our hometown, we make beautiful things, crafted to last—for you to be yourself...",
  "canApply": true,
  "applyUrl": "https://tapestry.wd108.myworkdayjobs.com/Tapestry_Careers/job/Lone-Tree-Colorado-USA-Park-Meadows---Coach/Store-Manager_JR20115/apply"
}
```

You can download the dataset in JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or HTML, or access it through the Apify API.

### Notes

- The old careers.tapestry.com site now forwards to the Tapestry job board, so all jobs come from there. Old search links keep only their keyword.
- The job board shows at most 2,000 jobs per search. To collect more, split a broad search with filters, for example one run per brand or country.
- Keyword search works like the job board itself: it also returns related jobs, not only exact title matches.
- Pay ranges are mostly published for jobs in the United States; elsewhere the pay fields are usually null.
- Work arrangement and application deadline are only filled when the job posting shows them.
- Links that are not Tapestry job board pages are skipped, and jobs that were removed are skipped with a warning.
- A job that shows up in several of your searches is saved once.

### Why use the Tapestry Jobs Scraper?

- ✅ **No login needed**: works with public job postings only, so there is no account to manage.
- 🎯 **Keeps your filters**: paste any job board search URL from your browser and get exactly what you see there.
- 👜 **Brand and department on every job**: see right away whether a role is at Coach, Kate Spade or Tapestry corporate.
- 🧹 **Clean data**: pay as real numbers, dates in one standard format, and descriptions free of HTML.
- 💸 **Pay for what you need**: set a result limit per URL or query and keep every run small and cheap.
- 🔄 **Ready for automation**: schedule runs, export to Google Sheets, or connect to Make, Zapier, and n8n.

### FAQ

#### How many results can I scrape?

You can set any number in **Maximum number of results**, or 0 for no limit. The actor keeps going until it reaches your limit or runs out of jobs. See **Notes** for the limit per search.

#### Do I need a Tapestry account?

No. The actor only collects publicly available job postings. You do not need to log in or provide any account details.

#### Can I scrape new jobs on a schedule?

Yes. Use Apify Schedules to run the actor every hour, day, or week, and get fresh job postings automatically.

#### Why are some fields empty?

Some job postings simply do not show every piece of information. When a field is not available on the job board, it is returned as `null`.

#### Can I request a new feature or filter?

Yes. Right now the actor supports start URLs, search queries and the brand, department, country, job type, time type and work arrangement filters. If you need other filters or inputs, such as state or city, get in touch and they can be added.

#### Can I get a custom or private version?

Yes. The actor can be customized for your workflow, delivered as a private version, or a new scraper can be built for a different website. Use the contact details below.
