## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Givenchy Scraper

![Givenchy Scraper](https://i.ibb.co/7J7H7fcv/givenchy-banner.png)

**Givenchy Scraper** extracts official product data from [Givenchy](https://www.givenchy.com/) into clean, structured data you can download as JSON, CSV, Excel, or HTML. Paste a Givenchy category, search, or product URL, or type a few keywords, and get the name, product code, price and currency, every color, sizes with stock status, materials, and images for each product. No account or login required.

### Introduction

[Givenchy](https://www.givenchy.com/) is the Paris fashion house behind luxury ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories for women and men. Its official online store lists the full current collection with local prices for each country site, which makes it a reliable source for luxury pricing, assortment, and stock data.

This actor collects the same public information you see in your browser and turns it into a ready-to-use dataset. You can run it once, schedule it to run daily, or connect it to your own tools.

### What data can you extract from Givenchy?

- 🏷️ Product name, product code, SKU, GTIN (EAN), and brand
- 💲 Price as shown on the site, numeric price, and currency for the selected country site
- 📦 Availability and in-stock status, including sold-out products
- 🎨 Current color and every other color of the same product, with links and images
- 📏 Sizes with local size labels (for example US sizes), stock status, and GTIN for each size, plus fit notes
- 🧵 Material composition, country of origin, and dimensions for bags
- 🗂️ Category and breadcrumb path
- 📝 Description and bullet-point details
- 🖼️ All product images
- 🔗 Direct URL to each product

### Use Cases

- 📈 **Market research**: track luxury prices and assortment across categories, collections, and countries.
- 🕵️ **Competitor monitoring**: follow new arrivals, price changes, and sold-out items in Givenchy's official store.
- 🌍 **Price comparison by country**: compare the same product code across US, UK, European, and Japanese sites.
- 🗂️ **Database building**: build your own catalog of Givenchy products with GTINs, materials, and images.
- 🤖 **AI and automation**: feed clean, structured data into spreadsheets, dashboards, or AI workflows.

### How to scrape Givenchy step by step

1. Paste one or more Givenchy URLs into **Start URLs**, or type keywords into **Search queries**.
2. If you use search queries, pick the country site and language in **Market for search queries**.
3. Set **Maximum number of results** to how many products you want per URL or per query.
4. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
5. Download your data in JSON, CSV, Excel, or HTML from the **Output** tab.

### Input

- **Start URLs**: Givenchy URLs to scrape. Supported pages: category pages (for example `https://www.givenchy.com/us/en-US/women/bags/`), search result pages, and single product pages, from any country site. Any filters and sorting you apply on the website (such as color, line, material, or price order) are kept in the results.
- **Search queries**: keywords to search on Givenchy, one per line. Each query is scraped separately.
- **Market for search queries**: the country site and language used for search queries, for example United States (English) or France (French). Start URLs always use the country site in the URL.
- **Maximum number of results**: how many products to collect for each start URL or search query. Set 0 for no limit.

You can use start URLs, search queries, or both in the same run.

### Input Examples

Scrape a category page from Givenchy:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://www.givenchy.com/us/en-US/women/bags/" }],
  "maxResults": 5
}
```

Search by keywords on the US site:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["voyou"],
  "market": "us/en-US",
  "maxResults": 5
}
```

### Output

Each product is saved as one item in the dataset. Here is an example of a single item (lists shortened):

```json
  ]
}
```

Bags also include `sizeName` (for example "Mini Bucket") and `dimensions` with length, height, depth, and unit.

You can download the dataset in JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or HTML, or access it through the Apify API.

### Notes

- Only Givenchy category, search, and product pages are supported. Editorial pages, the homepage, and URLs from other websites are skipped.
- Each color of a product has its own product code and page, so every color is a separate result. The `colors` list links all colors of the same product.
- Prices, currency, and text follow the country site and language of the URL. The International site shows prices in a currency based on where the request comes from, so use a country site (for example `gb/en` or `fr/fr`) when you need a fixed currency.
- A product found by two of your inputs in the same run is saved only once.
- `sizes` is empty for one-size items such as most bags, and `dimensions` is only filled when the site shows measurements.
- Works on the Akamai-protected Givenchy store without any extra setup.

### Why use the Givenchy Scraper?

- ✅ **No login needed**: works with public data only, so there is no account to manage.
- 🌍 **Every country site**: scrape US, UK, European, Japanese, and International stores with local prices.
- 🎯 **Keeps your filters**: paste any category URL with filters or sorting from your browser and get exactly what you see there.
- 📏 **Size-level stock**: see which sizes are available and get the GTIN of each size.
- 🧹 **Clean data**: numbers are real numbers, availability is readable, and text is free of HTML.
- 💸 **Pay for what you need**: set a result limit per URL or query and keep every run small and cheap.
- 🔄 **Ready for automation**: schedule runs, export to Google Sheets, or connect to Make, Zapier, and n8n.

### FAQ

#### How many results can I scrape?

You can set any number in **Maximum number of results**, or 0 for no limit. The actor keeps going until it reaches your limit or runs out of products in the category or search.

#### Do I need a Givenchy account?

No. The actor only collects publicly available data. You do not need to log in or provide any account details.

#### Can I scrape data on a schedule?

Yes. Use Apify Schedules to run the actor every hour, day, or week, and get fresh prices and stock automatically.

#### Why are some fields empty?

Some products simply do not show every piece of information. When a field is not available on the website, it is returned as `null`.

#### Can I request a new feature or filter?

Yes. Right now the actor supports start URLs, search queries, and a country site for searches. If you need other inputs, get in touch and they can be added.

#### Can I get a custom or private version?

Yes. The actor can be customized for your workflow, delivered as a private version, or a new scraper can be built for a different website. Use the contact details below.
