## Pricing

from $2.80 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Sun Ticketing Scraper

![Sun Ticketing Scraper](https://i.ibb.co/V0R32Y6t/sunticketing-banner.png)

**Sun Ticketing Scraper** extracts events from [Sun Ticketing](https://sunticketing.com/), the Muscat ticketing site for parties, concerts and nightlife in Oman, into clean, structured data you can download as JSON, CSV, Excel, or HTML. Paste the Sun Ticketing home page or an event URL and get the event title, date and time, venue, description, poster image and every ticket package with its price. Past events are included too. No account or login required.

### Introduction

[Sun Ticketing](https://sunticketing.com/) sells tickets for events in Oman: Persian nights, foam and pool parties, yacht parties, DJ nights and live concerts at venues such as Golden Tulip, Crowne Plaza OCEC, Grand Hyatt and W Muscat. Its event pages show ticket packages (ladies, gents, couples, VIP, tables) with prices in Omani rial.

This actor collects the same public information you see in your browser and turns it into a ready-to-use dataset. You can run it once, schedule it to run daily, or connect it to your own tools.

### What data can you extract from Sun Ticketing?

- 🏷️ Event title, ID and description
- 📅 Date and time (ISO format with the Oman time zone, plus the date and time as shown on the site)
- ⏳ Event status: upcoming or past
- 📍 Venue / location
- 💲 Lowest and highest ticket price, currency (OMR)
- 🎟️ Every ticket package: name, description, price, member price, free or paid, on sale or information only, and tickets sold
- 🖼️ Event poster image
- 🔗 Direct URL to each event page

### Use Cases

- 📈 **Market research**: see which kinds of events run in Muscat, how often, and at what ticket prices.
- 🕵️ **Competitor monitoring**: follow the venues, event formats and pricing of a nightlife and events promoter in Oman.
- 🎉 **Event listings**: feed upcoming Oman events into your own calendar, newsletter or events app.
- 🗂️ **Database building**: build a history of past events with their venues and ticket packages.
- 🤖 **AI and automation**: feed clean, structured data into spreadsheets, dashboards, or AI workflows.

### How to scrape Sun Ticketing step by step

1. Paste the Sun Ticketing home page or one or more event URLs into **Start URLs**.
2. Set **Maximum number of results** to how many events you want per URL.
3. Keep **Include past events** on to also collect older events, and optionally set a **Start date** and **End date**.
4. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
5. Download your data in JSON, CSV, Excel, or HTML from the **Output** tab.

### Input

- **Start URLs**: Sun Ticketing URLs to scrape. Supported pages: the home page (`https://sunticketing.com/`), which lists the upcoming events, and single event pages (`https://sunticketing.com/event.php?id=...`).
- **Maximum number of results**: how many events to collect for each start URL. Use 0 for no limit.
- **Include past events**: when the home page is used, also collect past events, newest first, after the upcoming ones.
- **Start date**: only keep events on or after this date.
- **End date**: only keep events on or before this date.

### Input Examples

Scrape the upcoming events and the latest past events from the home page:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://sunticketing.com/" }],
  "maxResults": 5,
  "includePastEvents": true
}
```

Scrape every event held in July 2025:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://sunticketing.com/" }],
  "maxResults": 0,
  "includePastEvents": true,
  "startDate": "2025-07-01",
  "endDate": "2025-07-31"
}
```

Scrape one event page:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://sunticketing.com/event.php?id=96" }],
  "maxResults": 5
}
```

### Output

Each event is saved as one item in the dataset. Here is an example of a single item:

```json
{
  "url": "https://sunticketing.com/event.php?id=96",
  "eventId": 96,
  "title": "SUNRISE - Chapter 001",
  "description": "Muscat is about to experience electronic music in a whole new way.",
  "startDate": "2026-09-04T22:00:00+04:00",
  "date": "September 4, 2026",
  "time": "10:00 PM",
  "eventStatus": "past",
  "location": "W Hotel",
  "imageUrl": "https://sunticketing.com/uploads/events/event_6a85a6a83c759_1787143848.jpg",
  "currency": "OMR",
  "priceMin": 10,
  "priceMax": 20,
  "packages": [
    {
      "packageId": 367,
      "name": "Ladies P2",
      "description": null,
      "price": 10,
      "vipPrice": null,
      "isFree": false,
      "isSalable": true,
      "soldCount": 0
    },
    {
      "packageId": 368,
      "name": "Gentlemen P2",
      "description": null,
      "price": 15,
      "vipPrice": null,
      "isFree": false,
      "isSalable": true,
      "soldCount": 4
    },
    {
      "packageId": 369,
      "name": "Couple P2",
      "description": null,
      "price": 20,
      "vipPrice": null,
      "isFree": false,
      "isSalable": true,
      "soldCount": 1
    }
  ]
}
```

You can download the dataset in JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or HTML, or access it through the Apify API.

### Notes

- Sun Ticketing usually lists only a few upcoming events at a time. Turn on **Include past events** to get a larger dataset; the full archive has more than 80 events.
- Only the home page and event pages are supported; other URLs are skipped. Event pages that no longer exist are skipped with a warning.
- The site has no event categories, so there is no category filter.
- `priceMin` and `priceMax` only count ticket packages that can be bought. Free entries marked "Information Only" on the site (for example free entry for ladies) are listed in `packages` with `isSalable: false`.
- `vipPrice` is the member price and is `null` when the site does not offer one. Many events have no description, so `description` is often `null`.
- Dates and times are Oman local time (GMT+4).

### Why use the Sun Ticketing Scraper?

- ✅ **No login needed**: works with public data only, so there is no account to manage.
- 🗓️ **Past events included**: collect the full event history, not only what is on sale today, and narrow it with a date range.
- 🧹 **Clean data**: prices are real numbers, dates use one standard format, and text is free of HTML.
- 💸 **Pay for what you need**: set a result limit per URL and keep every run small and cheap.
- 🔄 **Ready for automation**: schedule runs, export to Google Sheets, or connect to Make, Zapier, and n8n.

### FAQ

#### How many results can I scrape?

You can set any number in **Maximum number of results**, or 0 for no limit. With **Include past events** on, the actor goes through the whole event archive.

#### Do I need a Sun Ticketing account?

No. The actor only collects publicly available data. You do not need to log in or provide any account details.

#### Can I scrape data on a schedule?

Yes. Use Apify Schedules to run the actor every day or week, and get new events and price changes automatically.

#### Why are some fields empty?

Some events simply do not show every piece of information. When a field is not available on the website, it is returned as `null`.

#### Can I request a new feature or filter?

Yes. Right now the actor supports start URLs, past events and a date range. If you need other filters or inputs, get in touch and they can be added.

#### Can I get a custom or private version?

Yes. The actor can be customized for your workflow, delivered as a private version, or a new scraper can be built for a different website. Use the contact details below.
