## Pricing

from $2.50 / 1,000 business listing returneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Empire Flippers Listings: Profit, Revenue and Multiples

**Get every online business listed on Empire Flippers as a spreadsheet row: asking price, monthly net profit, revenue, price multiple, business model and niche.**
Search the live marketplace or the closed-deal archive by keyword, business model, profit floor, price cap and multiple cap. Turn on monitoring mode and run it on a schedule to get only the listings that are new since your last run, charged per listing and free on a quiet day.

**Who uses it:** business buyers and search funds screening deals, acquisition brokers and valuation analysts building comps from sold businesses, and newsletter or deal-flow teams that want a new-listing alert.

### How to use

1. **In the Apify Console.** Open the actor page and click **Start** — the `keywords` field is already pre-filled with a working example. Results land in the run's dataset as soon as each item is found.
2. **Via the API.** Call it directly with a POST request — no Console needed once you have an API token:
   ```bash
   curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~empire-flippers-listing-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>" \
     -X POST \
     -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
     -d '{"keywords":["amazon fba"]}'
   ```
3. **On a schedule.** Save this actor as an Apify **Task** with the input you want, then add a **Schedule** (hourly, daily, weekly) so it runs on its own — no server of your own required.

### Input

```json
{
  "keywords": [
    "amazon fba"
  ]
}
```

One keyword or phrase per line, matched against the listing title, niche, business model and summary, or a listing number. A listing qualifies when it matches any line. Leave empty to list every listing for the chosen status. Accepted formats: amazon fba, saas, pet, 97751.

One combined search runs per call. Keywords are matched against the title, niche, business model and summary (or a listing number); the business model, profit, price and multiple filters run after the fetch. Leave everything empty to list the whole marketplace. Status **Sold** returns closed deals with profit, revenue and multiple: Empire Flippers hides the sale price, so `askingPriceUsd` is `null` there, never `0`. The search itself is free; you are billed per listing actually returned.

### Output

One row per listing, for example:

| query | found | status | searchSummary | listingCount | truncated | monitorStatus | listings | listingNumber | title | listingStatus | askingPriceUsd | monthlyNetProfitUsd | monthlyRevenueUsd | monthlyExpensesUsd | annualNetProfitUsd | annualRevenueUsd | profitMarginPercent | annualMultiple | monthlyMultiple | multipleType | businessModels | niches | country | countries | customerType | firstMadeMoneyOn | hoursPerWeek | daysOnMarket | firstListedAt | updatedAt | isNewListing | profitTrendPercent | profitTrendMonths | revenueTrendPercent | assetsIncluded | hasTrademark | summary | monthlyMetrics | listingUrl | isNew | firstSeenAt | scrapedAt |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| amazon fba | true | OK | <search run> | <listings returned> | <more results were available> | <monitoring status> | \<all listings (full list)> | <listing number> | <listing title> | <status> | \<asking price (usd)> | \<avg monthly net profit (usd)> | \<avg monthly gross revenue (usd)> | \<avg monthly expenses (usd)> | \<avg annual net profit (usd)> | \<avg annual gross revenue (usd)> | \<profit margin (%)> | \<price multiple (x annual profit)> | \<price multiple (x monthly profit)> | <multiple basis> | <business models> | <niches> | \<main market (country code)> | \<markets (country codes)> | <customer type> | <first revenue date> | <owner hours per week> | <days on the marketplace> | <first listed at> | <last updated at> | <flagged new by empire flippers> | \<net profit trend (%)> | \<net profit trend window (months)> | \<revenue trend (%)> | <assets included in the sale> | <includes a trademark> | <business summary> | \<monthly net profit and revenue (last months)> | <listing page> | \<is this listing new?> | <first seen on a run> | 1970-01-01T00:00:00.000Z |

Example listing row (Empire Flippers listing 97751, trimmed):

```json
{
  "listingNumber": 97751,
  "title": "$61.7K Per Month Amazon FBA Business in the Hobbies Niche",
  "listingStatus": "For Sale",
  "askingPriceUsd": 654855,
  "monthlyNetProfitUsd": 20212,
  "monthlyRevenueUsd": 61659,
  "profitMarginPercent": 33,
  "annualMultiple": 2.7,
  "multipleType": "SDE",
  "businessModels": ["Amazon FBA"],
  "niches": ["Hobbies", "Outdoors"],
  "country": "US"
}
```

A search with no matching listing comes back as a row with `"found": false` and is never charged. Missing values (an unpriced listing's price and multiple, for example) are `null`, never `0`.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event. A flat per-run fee covers session/proxy warmup; you're billed
per item only when data is actually found and returned — see
`.actor/pay_per_event.json` for exact prices. A miss is never charged.

### Example runs

Paste any of these into the Input tab and press Start. All three return rows with no key, no token
and no account of your own beyond an Apify login.

**Amazon FBA businesses for sale, first 20.** The default shape.

```json
{
  "keywords": ["amazon fba"],
  "status": "For Sale",
  "maxResults": 20
}
```

**Profitable listings under three years of profit.** At least $10,000 net profit a month, priced at 3x annual profit or less.

```json
{
  "status": "For Sale",
  "minMonthlyProfitUsd": 10000,
  "maxMultiple": 3,
  "maxResults": 25
}
```

**New-listing alert for SaaS businesses.** Schedule it daily; a day with nothing new returns and bills nothing.

```json
{
  "monetization": "SaaS",
  "onlyNewSinceLastRun": true,
  "deltaName": "saas-alerts"
}
```

### Use it from Clay, n8n, Make, or an AI agent

This actor runs synchronously over plain HTTP — call it directly from a script, a workflow tool, or an AI agent, no Apify Console needed once you have an API token.

```bash
curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~empire-flippers-listing-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>" \
  -X POST \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"keywords":["amazon fba"]}'
```

**n8n.** Add an HTTP Request node: Method `POST`, URL `https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~empire-flippers-listing-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>`, Body Content Type `JSON`, JSON Body `{"keywords":["amazon fba"]}` (swap in an expression from an earlier node for a real value).

**Clay.** Add an "HTTP API" column: Method `POST`, URL `https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~empire-flippers-listing-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>`, Body `{"keywords":["{{search}}"]}`, mapping the row's search into the `keywords` array.

**MCP.** In Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client with the Apify MCP server, ask for "empire flippers scraper" — the agent will find and run this actor.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

One keyword or phrase per line, matched against the listing title, niche, business model and summary, or a listing number. A listing qualifies when it matches any line. Leave empty to list every listing for the chosen status. Accepted formats: amazon fba, saas, pet, 97751. You're only charged for the ones we actually find — a miss costs nothing.

## `status` (type: `string`):

For Sale is the live marketplace; Sold lists closed deals (profit, revenue and multiple of businesses that sold, with the sale price hidden by Empire Flippers).

## `testRun` (type: `boolean`):

Turn this on to test your input on a small sample before running the full list. Turn it off to process everything.

## `onlyFound` (type: `boolean`):

Only keep rows where something was actually found. Misses are always free, whether or not you show them here.

## `includeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Optional. Only keep results that mention at least one of these words (e.g. a job title, a city, a product name). Leave empty to keep everything.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Optional. Drop any result that mentions one of these words. Leave empty to skip nothing.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Up to 500. Caps how many listings you get (and pay for) in one run.

## `monetization` (type: `string`):

Optional. Keep listings whose business model contains this text, for example Amazon FBA, SaaS, Affiliate, Subscription. Leave empty for all.

## `minMonthlyProfitUsd` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Only keep listings averaging at least this much net profit per month.

## `maxAskingPriceUsd` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Only keep priced listings asking at most this much. Unpriced listings are dropped when this is set.

## `maxMultiple` (type: `number`):

Optional. Only keep priced listings at or under this multiple of annual net profit, for example 3 for three years of profit.

## `onlyNewSinceLastRun` (type: `boolean`):

On: only listing numbers not seen on your previous run are returned and charged for. Run it on a schedule as a new-listing alert. Off: every matching listing is returned every time.

## `deltaName` (type: `string`):

Optional. Name this search's monitoring memory so you can tell two schedules of this actor apart, or keep one memory across an input change. Leave empty to auto-derive one from your filters.

## `columns` (type: `array`):

Choose which pieces of information to include in each result row. All are included by default.

## `expandRows` (type: `boolean`):

When on, each listing found gets its own row. When off, one row per search carries every listing in its listings array. You are charged once per listing returned either way, and never for a search that returns none.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Parallel requests. Keep conservative — this target has no browser fallback, so getting blocked costs more than slow-and-steady.
