## Pricing

from $0.50 / 1,000 station price returneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Fuel Prices Lookup: France and Spain Petrol Stations

**Look up real-time petrol station fuel prices across France and Spain from official government open-data APIs.**

Search official live fuel price databases from the French Ministry of Economics (*prix-des-carburants*) and the Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition (*MINETUR / Geoportal Gasolineras*). Retrieve current pump prices for diesel (gazole / gasóleo A), unleaded gasoline (SP95, SP98, E10, E5), E85, and LPG (GPL / GLP), along with station addresses, brands, operating hours, coordinates, and available services.

### Who uses it

- **Fleet managers & logistics operators:** Monitor local fuel price variations and optimize refueling stops across cross-border transport routes in France and Spain.
- **Price comparison apps & navigation developers:** Power mobile apps, route planning engines, and connected dashboard displays with official real-time petrol station prices.
- **Energy market researchers & analysts:** Track retail fuel pricing dynamics, brand margins, and regional price dispersion without scraping or proxy costs.
- **Automated home & business workflows:** Feed daily local gas station prices into n8n, Make, or Google Sheets to trigger alerts when local fuel drops below a target threshold.

### How to use

1. **In the Apify Console.** Open the actor page and click **Start** — the `postcode` field is already pre-filled with a working example. Results land in the run's dataset as soon as each item is found.
2. **Via the API.** Call it directly with a POST request — no Console needed once you have an API token:
   ```bash
   curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~fuel-prices-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>" \
     -X POST \
     -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
     -d '{"postcode":["75"]}'
   ```
3. **On a schedule.** Save this actor as an Apify **Task** with the input you want, then add a **Schedule** (hourly, daily, weekly) so it runs on its own — no server of your own required.

### Input

```json
{
  "postcode": [
    "75"
  ]
}
```

One postal code per line (e.g. '75001' for Paris 1er, '28001' for Madrid, or department/province codes '75' or '28'). Accepted formats: 75001, 28001, 05100, {"country":"fr","postcode":"75001","fuel":"gazole"}.

Accepted inputs:

- 5-digit French postal code: `"75001"`, `"05100"`, `"69001"`
- 2-digit French department: `"75"`, `"13"`, `"69"`
- 5-digit Spanish postal code: `"28001"`, `"08001"`, `"41001"`
- 2-digit Spanish province code or name: `"28"`, `"Madrid"`, `"Barcelona"`
- JSON query object: `{"country": "es", "postcode": "28864", "fuel": "gazole"}`

### Output

One row per petrol station with individual fuel prices:

| query | found | status | stationId | country | brand | address | city | postcode | region | department | latitude | longitude | currency | fuel | price | priceGazole | priceSp95 | priceSp98 | priceE10 | priceE85 | priceGpl | priceDieselPremium | availableFuels | openingHours | updatedAt | sourceUrl | scrapedAt |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 75 | true | OK | 75016001 | FR | Route | 1 Avenue du Général Sarrail | Paris | 75016 | Île-de-France | Paris | 48.847 | 2.256 | EUR | gazole | 2.462 | 2.462 |  | 2.27 | 2.179 |  |  | \<premium diesel (eur/l)> | Gazole, E10, SP98 | Lundi07.30-21.00, Mardi07.30-21.00, Mercredi07.30-21.00, Jeudi07.30-21.00, Vendredi07.30-21.00, Samedi07.30-21.00, Dimanche | 2026-10-29T06:38:35+00:00 | https://data.economie.gouv.fr/api/explore/v2.1/catalog/datasets/prix-des-carburants-en-france-flux-instantane-v2/records?where=startswith%28cp%2C+%2275%22%29\&limit=20 | 2026-11-01T10:31:00.882Z |

A postal code or search with no matching stations returns a row with `"found": false` and is never charged. Missing values are `null` (never 0 or empty string).

### Pricing

- **Station price returned**: $1 per 1,000 station prices

Plus a $0.00005 start fee per run. Each event above is billed independently, only when it actually returns data — misses (`found:false`) are never charged.

### Use it from Clay, n8n, Make, or an AI agent

This actor runs synchronously over plain HTTP — call it directly from a script, a workflow tool, or an AI agent, no Apify Console needed once you have an API token.

```bash
curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~fuel-prices-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>" \
  -X POST \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"postcode":["75"]}'
```

**n8n.** Add an HTTP Request node: Method `POST`, URL `https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~fuel-prices-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>`, Body Content Type `JSON`, JSON Body `{"postcode":["75"]}` (swap in an expression from an earlier node for a real value).

**Clay.** Add an "HTTP API" column: Method `POST`, URL `https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~fuel-prices-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>`, Body `{"postcode":["{{postal code}}"]}`, mapping the row's postal code into the `postcode` array.

**MCP.** In Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client with the Apify MCP server, ask for "Fuel Prices API: France & Spain Petrol Stations" — the agent will find and run this actor.

### Limits

- Keyless official open-data APIs — no API key, authentication, or account required.
- Official coverage across France (all metropolitan departments) and Spain (all 52 provinces).
- Prices are snapshots updated by stations and government ministries multiple times per day.
- Returns up to 100 stations per postal code / query (default 20), in feed order, not sorted by price.
- France has no brand name in its feed: `brand` is the road type (Route or Autoroute). Spain gives the real brand. `priceDieselPremium` is Spain only.

### Example runs

Paste any of these into the Input tab and press Start. No key, no token. Row counts were checked against the live sources on 2026-11-01.

**Paris diesel prices (France).** Department `75` matches every Paris postal code; the source held 47 stations that day, most with a diesel price.

```json
{
  "postcode": ["75"],
  "country": "fr",
  "fuel": "gazole",
  "maxItems": 20
}
```

**Barcelona province, all fuels (Spain).** One row per station with every fuel price the station sells (the province feed has about 800 stations; the first `maxItems` in feed order are returned, not the cheapest).

```json
{
  "postcode": ["08"],
  "country": "es",
  "fuel": "all",
  "maxItems": 20
}
```

**E85 ethanol at Montgenevre (France).** Postal code `05100` returns the one station there with its E85 price.

```json
{
  "postcode": ["05100"],
  "country": "fr",
  "fuel": "e85",
  "maxItems": 10
}
```

# Actor input Schema

## `postcode` (type: `array`):

One postal code per line (e.g. '75001' for Paris 1er, '28001' for Madrid, or department/province codes '75' or '28'). Accepted formats: 75001, 28001, 05100, {"country":"fr","postcode":"75001","fuel":"gazole"}. You're only charged for the ones we actually find — a miss costs nothing.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Target country: France (official prix-des-carburants API) or Spain (official MINETUR Geoportal Gasolineras API).

## `fuel` (type: `string`):

Filter by fuel type to only return stations selling this fuel with current pricing, or 'all' to include all stations and their fuel prices.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of petrol stations to return per postal code or search (default 20, max 100).

## `testRun` (type: `boolean`):

Turn this on to test your input on a small sample before running the full list. Turn it off to process everything.

## `onlyFound` (type: `boolean`):

Only keep rows where something was actually found. Misses are always free, whether or not you show them here.

## `includeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Optional. Only keep results that mention at least one of these words (e.g. a job title, a city, a product name). Leave empty to keep everything.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Optional. Drop any result that mentions one of these words. Leave empty to skip nothing.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Stop the run once this many results have been found — useful for a quick, cheap sample. Leave blank for no limit.

## `columns` (type: `array`):

Choose which pieces of information to include in each result row. All are included by default.

## `expandRows` (type: `boolean`):

When on, each station price found gets its own row instead of being grouped under its postal code. You're still only charged once per postal code, no matter how many rows it produces.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Parallel requests. Keep conservative — this target has no browser fallback, so getting blocked costs more than slow-and-steady.
