## Pricing

from $0.30 / 1,000 review returneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Trustpilot Reviews Scraper: Score, Text & Replies

Pull the newest Trustpilot reviews for any company domain, with the company's TrustScore, each review's stars, title, text, date, language and the company's public reply. Run it on a schedule to see only the reviews that are new since the last run, and send new low-star reviews to Slack, Discord, Telegram or any webhook. Reviewer names, profiles and countries are never returned.

### Who uses this

- Brands and agencies that watch their own or a client's reviews.
- Customer-experience and support teams that want a daily "new one-star review" alert.
- Analysts who compare the TrustScore and complaint themes of competitors.

### What you get

One row per review: `reviewId`, `domain`, `businessName`, `businessTrustScore`, `businessReviewCount`, `rating`, `title`, `text`, `publishedAt`, `experiencedAt`, `likes`, `language`, `isVerified`, `replyText`, `replyAt`, plus `changeType` and `previousTrustScore` when monitoring is on.

**Not returned, on purpose:** the reviewer's name, id, profile link, avatar and country. They describe private people.

### 3 steps to a new one-star review alert

1. Put the company domains in `domains`, turn on **Track reviews across runs** and paste a Slack, Discord or Telegram link into **Send alerts to**.
2. Run it once with **Seed silently** on. The first run only remembers the reviews it sees.
3. Save it as a Task and add a daily Schedule. From the second run on, every new review with 2 stars or fewer is posted as one message (change **Low-star means at most** to move the line).

### Example runs

- **Trustpilot reviews of a company:** `domains: ["stripe.com"]`, `maxReviewsPerDomain: 40`.
- **Only the complaints:** `domains: ["wise.com"]`, `maxStars: 2`, `sinceDate: "2026-09-01"`.
- **New one-star review alert to Slack:** `domains: ["notion.so"]`, `deltaMode: true`, `alertOn: "new-low-review"`, `notifyUrl: <your Slack webhook>`.

### Limits, stated plainly

- Reviews come 20 to a page, newest first, and each page is one proxy request of about 12 seconds. A 1,000-review pull is 50 pages, so it takes minutes, not seconds; up to 400 reviews per domain per run.
- Filters (stars, date, only-with-reply) are applied after the fetch, so they never reduce the pages read or the proxy cost, but only the rows that pass are returned and billed.
- The page shows the newest reviews in Trustpilot's default order; this actor does not offer a sort or a language switch.
- Trustpilot blocks most automated traffic. The actor uses a high-success proxy; when a page still comes back blocked the row says `BLOCKED` and is never charged. Check the result before you rely on it for something important.
- Public data only: no login, no reviewer identity, no company contact details.

### How to use

1. **In the Apify Console.** Open the actor page and click **Start** — the `domains` field is already pre-filled with a working example. Results land in the run's dataset as soon as each item is found.
2. **Via the API.** Call it directly with a POST request — no Console needed once you have an API token:
   ```bash
   curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~trustpilot-reviews-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>" \
     -X POST \
     -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
     -d '{"domains":["stripe.com","notion.so"]}'
   ```
3. **On a schedule.** Save this actor as an Apify **Task** with the input you want, then add a **Schedule** (hourly, daily, weekly) so it runs on its own — no server of your own required.

### Input

```json
{
  "domains": [
    "stripe.com",
    "notion.so"
  ]
}
```

One company per line: a plain domain such as stripe.com, or a trustpilot.com/review/stripe.com link. Each domain returns its newest reviews plus the company's TrustScore. No login required. Reviewer names and profiles are never returned. Accepted formats: stripe.com, notion.so, https://www.trustpilot.com/review/wise.com.

```json
{
  "domains": ["stripe.com", "notion.so"],
  "maxReviewsPerDomain": 40,
  "maxStars": 2
}
```

`domains` is a list of company domains (or trustpilot.com/review/ links). One dataset row is returned per review; a domain that cannot be read comes back as one row with `"found": false` and is never charged.

### Output

One row per review, for example:

| query | found | status | reviewId | domain | businessName | businessTrustScore | businessReviewCount | rating | title | text | publishedAt | experiencedAt | likes | language | isVerified | replyText | replyAt | changeType | previousTrustScore | url | checkedAt | scrapedAt |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| stripe.com | true | OK | <review id> | <company domain> | <company> | \<trustscore (company)> | \<reviews (company, total)> | <stars> | <review title> | <review text> | <published> | <date of experience> | <likes> | <language> | <verified> | <company reply> | <reply date> | <change since last run> | <trustscore last run> | <company page> | <checked at> | 1970-01-01T00:00:00.000Z |

A miss comes back as a row with `"found": false` and is never charged.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event. A flat per-run fee covers session/proxy warmup; you're billed
per item only when data is actually found and returned — see
`.actor/pay_per_event.json` for exact prices. A miss is never charged.

### Use it from Clay, n8n, Make, or an AI agent

This actor runs synchronously over plain HTTP — call it directly from a script, a workflow tool, or an AI agent, no Apify Console needed once you have an API token.

```bash
curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~trustpilot-reviews-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>" \
  -X POST \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"domains":["stripe.com","notion.so"]}'
```

**n8n.** Add an HTTP Request node: Method `POST`, URL `https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~trustpilot-reviews-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>`, Body Content Type `JSON`, JSON Body `{"domains":["stripe.com","notion.so"]}` (swap in an expression from an earlier node for a real value).

**Clay.** Add an "HTTP API" column: Method `POST`, URL `https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/accountable_eel~trustpilot-reviews-lookup/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>`, Body `{"domains":["{{domain}}"]}`, mapping the row's domain into the `domains` array.

**MCP.** In Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client with the Apify MCP server, ask for "Trustpilot Reviews Scraper: Score, Text & Replies" — the agent will find and run this actor.

# Actor input Schema

## `domains` (type: `array`):

One company per line: a plain domain such as stripe.com, or a trustpilot.com/review/stripe.com link. Each domain returns its newest reviews plus the company's TrustScore. No login required. Reviewer names and profiles are never returned. Accepted formats: stripe.com, notion.so, https://www.trustpilot.com/review/wise.com. You're only charged for the ones we actually find — a miss costs nothing.

## `maxReviewsPerDomain` (type: `integer`):

Newest reviews first, 20 per page, up to 400. Counts reviews read, before the filters below. Each page is one proxy request of about 12 seconds.

## `minStars` (type: `integer`):

Keep reviews with at least this many stars (1-5). Applied after the fetch.

## `maxStars` (type: `integer`):

Keep reviews with at most this many stars (1-5). Use 2 for complaints. Applied after the fetch.

## `sinceDate` (type: `string`):

ISO date such as 2026-09-01. Keeps reviews published on or after it. Applied after the fetch.

## `onlyWithReply` (type: `boolean`):

Applied after the fetch.

## `deltaMode` (type: `boolean`):

Turns the actor into a review monitor. Each run compares every review with the previous run and fills in 'Change since last run' (first-seen, new-review, new-low-review, unchanged) and the previous TrustScore. Schedule it daily and combine with 'Only return rows that changed' and 'Send alerts to'.

## `deltaName` (type: `string`):

Leave empty and one is derived from your domains. Type your own name to keep one memory across changes, or to run several independent watchlists.

## `alertOn` (type: `string`):

Which new review raises an alert message. All is new reviews and new low-star reviews.

## `lowStarMax` (type: `integer`):

With monitoring on, a new review with this many stars or fewer is a new-low-review. Default 2.

## `alertOnChangeOnly` (type: `boolean`):

With monitoring on, a review you have already been shown (change = unchanged) writes no row and is not billed. First-seen, new-review and new-low-review rows are returned.

## `skipFirstRun` (type: `boolean`):

The first reading of a domain has nothing to compare with. Turn this on to remember its reviews without returning or billing them, so rows and alerts start from the second run.

## `notifyUrl` (type: `string`):

Optional. After a review row is billed, each new review and new low-star review is posted here as one message with stars, title, text and a link. Discord or Slack: paste the channel's webhook URL. Telegram: https://api.telegram.org/bot<token>/sendMessage?chat_id=<chat id>. Any other URL receives JSON. Messages are free, and a failed message never fails the run (the row's notifyErrors says why). Stored encrypted, never logged or written to the results.

## `notifyFormat` (type: `string`):

Leave on 'Detect from the link': discord.com links get Discord messages, hooks.slack.com Slack, api.telegram.org Telegram, anything else JSON. Pick one only to override that.

## `maxNotificationsPerRun` (type: `integer`):

Up to 100. After this, one 'more alerts' message says the rest are in the run's dataset. 0 sends only that one message.

## `testRun` (type: `boolean`):

Turn this on to test your input on a small sample before running the full list. Turn it off to process everything.

## `onlyFound` (type: `boolean`):

Only keep rows where something was actually found. Misses are always free, whether or not you show them here.

## `includeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Optional. Only keep results that mention at least one of these words (e.g. a job title, a city, a product name). Leave empty to keep everything.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Optional. Drop any result that mentions one of these words. Leave empty to skip nothing.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Stop the run once this many results have been found — useful for a quick, cheap sample. Leave blank for no limit.

## `columns` (type: `array`):

Choose which pieces of information to include in each result row. All are included by default.

## `expandRows` (type: `boolean`):

When on, each review found gets its own row instead of being grouped under its domain. You're still only charged once per domain, no matter how many rows it produces.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Parallel requests. Keep conservative — this target has no browser fallback, so getting blocked costs more than slow-and-steady.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy config. Residential recommended for anti-bot-sensitive targets.
