## Pricing

from $7.50 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## 🇮🇱 Israel Nonprofits Amutot Registry Scraper

> **Export the Israeli Amutot register as rows: registration number, name, stated purpose, registry status, and the full government record attached to each one.** Runs against the open data resource on `data.gov.il`. No API key, no registration.

Every nonprofit association in Israel, an *amuta*, is entered in a public register held by the Registrar of Associations and republished as an open dataset on `data.gov.il`. The portal shows it through a paged preview table in Hebrew, which is fine for looking one organisation up and useless for building a list. This Actor reads the resource and writes each association into a dataset, with the complete government record kept intact on every row.

| Who uses it | What they use the register for |
|---|---|
| 🔍 Diligence and compliance teams | Confirming an Israeli counterparty is registered and in good standing before signing |
| 💼 Corporate development and grant teams | Screening the sector by activity classification and reported turnover |
| 📇 Business development teams | Building a contactable list of associations by city and field of activity |
| 📊 Researchers and journalists | Measuring the sector: registrations by year, status, field, headcount |

### 📋 What it does

> 💡 **Why it matters:** `status` is the field that settles an argument. `רשומה` means the association is on the register. `נמחקה` means it has been struck off. That is a five second check that would otherwise be an email to a lawyer.

- 🆔 **Returns the official amuta number** on every row, the identifier the registry itself keys on.
- 🏷 **Name and stated purpose** as the register holds them, in Hebrew.
- ✅ **Registry status**, for example `רשומה` for registered or `נמחקה` for struck off.
- 🗃 **Keeps the whole government record** in `raw`, including registration date, activity classification, reported income and expenses, employee and volunteer counts, and the address fields.
- 🔎 **Optional keyword filter.** Pass a `query` to match on name or purpose instead of walking the whole register.
- 📦 **One row per association**, the same 10 fields every run, exportable as CSV, Excel, JSON or XML.

### 📊 Output

Every association is one flat row with one nested object on it.

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 🆔 `amuta_id` | integer | Official association number, for example `580000016` |
| 🏷 `name` | string | Association name in Hebrew, as registered |
| 🎯 `goal` | string | Stated purpose of the association. Empty where the register holds none |
| ✅ `status` | string | Registry status in Hebrew, for example `רשומה` or `נמחקה` |
| 🗃 `raw` | object | The complete government record for this association, with the original Hebrew field names. See below |
| 🏠 `address` | string | Reserved for a composed street address. Empty on every row of the reference run. The address parts are inside `raw` |
| 🏙 `city` | string | Reserved for the city. Empty on every row of the reference run. The city is `כתובת - ישוב` inside `raw` |
| 🖼 `imageUrl` | string | Reserved for a logo. Empty on every row of the reference run, since the register holds no images |
| 🕒 `scrapedAt` | string | ISO timestamp of collection |
| ⚠️ `error` | string | `null` on a normal row |

#### What is inside `raw`

`raw` carries the government record unaltered, with its Hebrew column names. The fields most worth reading:

| Key in `raw` | What it holds |
|---|---|
| `תאריך רישום עמותה` | Registration date, as `DD/MM/YYYY` |
| `סיווג פעילות ענפי` | Sector classification, for example `מורשת או הנצחה` |
| `תחום פעילות משני` | Secondary field of activity |
| `מחזור כספי (הכנסות)` | Reported income for the last filed year |
| `סך הוצאות העמותה` | Reported total expenses |
| `כמות עובדים`, `כמות מתנדבים` | Employee count and volunteer count |
| `כתובת - ישוב`, `כתובת - רחוב`, `כתובת - מספר דירה`, `כתובת - מיקוד` | City, street, number and postcode |
| `שם עמותה באנגלית` | English name, where the association filed one |

### ✨ Why choose this Actor

| | What you get |
|---|---|
| **The government record, whole** | `raw` is the registry row as published, so nothing is lost in translation to a flat schema. |
| **Status you can filter on** | Struck off associations are marked, so a list of live ones is one filter away. |
| **A keyword filter at the source** | `query` narrows by name or purpose before rows are written, so you pay for what you asked for. |
| **No credentials** | The `data.gov.il` resource is open. No API key and no account. |
| **$0.0085 a row** | A thousand associations costs $8.50. |

### 🚀 How to use it

1. [Create a free Apify account](https://console.apify.com/sign-up). New accounts start with $5 of credit.
2. Open the Actor and select **Try for free**.
3. Leave `resourceId` on its default unless you are pointing at a different `data.gov.il` resource.
4. Set `maxItems` to cap the run, and `query` if you want to filter by name or purpose.
5. Select **Start**, then export from the **Dataset** tab as CSV, Excel, JSON or XML.

A first run:

```json
{
  "resourceId": "be5b7935-3922-45d4-9638-08871b17ec95",
  "maxItems": 10
}
```

A filtered pull:

```json
{
  "resourceId": "be5b7935-3922-45d4-9638-08871b17ec95",
  "query": "ספורט",
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

### ⚙️ Input

| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `resourceId` | No | The `data.gov.il` resource id for the Amutot dataset. Defaults to `be5b7935-3922-45d4-9638-08871b17ec95` |
| `maxItems` | No | Maximum associations to collect in a run |
| `query` | No | Free text search across association name and purpose. Left empty, the Actor walks the resource in order |

### 💰 Pricing

Pay per result. No subscription, and no Apify platform usage on top.

| Apify plan | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold | Platinum | Diamond |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Per association row | $0.0085 | $0.00817 | $0.00783 | $0.0075 | $0.0075 | $0.0075 |

| Rows collected | Cost on the Free plan |
|---|---|
| 100 | $0.85 |
| 1,000 | $8.50 |
| 10,000 | $85.00 |

**Free plan runs** return a small preview. Any paid Apify plan lifts the cap.

### 🔌 Integrate with any app

The dataset is available through the Apify API as soon as the run finishes. Use `run-sync-get-dataset-items` for a one-shot call, webhooks to trigger what happens next, or the Make, Zapier, Airbyte and LangChain integrations listed on the Actor page.

### 🤖 Use with an AI agent

Give an agent live access to the register over the Model Context Protocol:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=acquistion-automation/israel-nonprofits-amutot-scraper"
```

An agent is a good fit here, since it can read the Hebrew record back to you in English.

### ❓ Frequently asked questions

**Is the data in Hebrew?**
Yes. The register is published in Hebrew and the Actor does not translate it. `raw` carries `שם עמותה באנגלית`, the English name, for associations that filed one.

**Does it return the managing members or officers?**
No. The published resource holds the organisation's own record: number, name, purpose, status, classification, address parts and reported figures. Officer names are not in it.

**Why are `address` and `city` empty?**
Those top level fields are not being composed in the current build. The address parts are present on every row inside `raw`, under `כתובת - ישוב`, `כתובת - רחוב`, `כתובת - מספר דירה` and `כתובת - מיקוד`.

**What does `status` mean?**
It is the registry status in Hebrew. `רשומה` is registered, `נמחקה` is struck off. Check it before treating an association as active.

**How do I export `raw` to a spreadsheet?**
CSV and Excel exports flatten the nested object into one column per Hebrew key. JSON keeps it nested.

**Why is `goal` empty on some rows?**
The register holds no stated purpose for some associations, mostly older or struck off ones. In the reference run, 7 rows in 10 carried a purpose.

### About Acquisition Automation Co.

We build automation for people buying businesses. The repetitive part of an acquisition search, checking listings, pulling public records, tracking owners and assets, is work a machine should do, so the buyer's time goes into judging deals instead of collecting them.

We add new Actors regularly. If there is a source you need and do not see here, tell us.
