## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Computrabajo Jobs Scraper: Latin America (MX, CO, AR, PE, CL…)

Scrape Computrabajo job offers in 18 Latin American countries (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile…) by keyword and city: company, location, salary in local currency, remote, posting date, link, optional full description. $0.50 per 1,000 jobs.

**A Computrabajo scraper for Latin American jobs, in 18 countries, with no browser.** Computrabajo is the largest job board in Spanish-speaking Latin America, with sites for **Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, El Salvador, Uruguay and Puerto Rico**. Pick a country, give it keywords (desarrollador, vendedor, contador…) and optional cities or states, and get one clean row per offer: **title, company** (or a confidential-company flag), **city, region and country**, **salary as a number with its local currency and period** (parsed from formats like $ 4.836.000,00 or 10,000.00 Q), **remote / on-site / hybrid**, posting date (from the "Hace 3 días" label, or exact with details), and the offer link. Turn on details for the **full description, contract hours, industry and expiry date** from each offer page. Filter by posting age, remote-only and salary-shown. Every keyword runs in every place. Use it for **LATAM job market and salary research**, recruiting and sourcing across Latin America, **hiring-company lead lists**, job alerts and job-board aggregation. **$0.50 per 1,000 jobs**, with no compute bill on top; problems return a free status row instead of failing.

### What data does it return?

Every run outputs clean, schema-validated rows like these:

| title | company | location | salaryMin | salaryCurrency | salaryPeriod |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Programador de Mantenimiento Industrial | SANIMAX DE COLOMBIA S.A.S. | Soacha, Cundinamarca | 4836000 | COP | month |
| Desarrollador FullStack Python, Kafka, AWS | Adecco Colombia S.A. | Medellín, Antioquia | 4500000 | COP | month |
| Desarrollador | Silveragro | Colombia | | | |

### How much does it cost?

Transparent pay-per-event pricing — you only pay for what you get, and the
actor **always respects your run budget**: set a maximum total charge and it
stops cleanly at the cap instead of overrunning.

| Event | Price | Charged | Worked example |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `job-result` | $0.0005 | per job row | 1,000 offers = $0.50 (with or without details) |
| `apify-actor-start` | $0.00005 | per run per GB of memory (platform start fee) | One run at 256 MB = $0.00005 |

### Input options

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `country` | string | no | `"mx"` | Which Computrabajo country site to search. |
| `keywords` | array | no | — | Job titles or skills in Spanish, e.g. desarrollador, vendedor, contador, enfermera, ingeniero civil. One search per keyword. |
| `locations` | array | no | `[]` | Cities, states or departments as Computrabajo names them, e.g. Bogotá D.C., Medellín, Jalisco, Ciudad de México, Lima. Every keyword is searched in every place. Leave empty for the whole country. |
| `postedWithinDays` | integer | no | `0` | Only offers published in the last N days (from the page's "Hace 3 días" label; filtered by the actor). 0 = any age. |
| `remoteOnly` | boolean | no | `false` | Keep only offers marked as fully remote (Remoto). |
| `requireSalary` | boolean | no | `false` | Keep only offers that show a salary. |
| `includeDetails` | boolean | no | `false` | Open each offer page for the full description, contract hours, industry, exact posting date and expiry (one extra page per offer, so runs are slower). Phone numbers and e-mail addresses are removed. |
| `maxPagesPerSearch` | integer | no | `10` | Results pages per keyword × place (20 offers each). |
| `maxItems` | integer | no | `200` | Stop after this many offers in total. Each offer is one charged row. |

### Limits & honest notes

- **Responsible use:** you are responsible for using the data in line with Computrabajo's terms and with the data-protection laws of each country. This actor is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Computrabajo or Redarbor.
- It reads only Computrabajo's public results and offer pages and checks robots.txt before every page. robots.txt disallows the site's filter parameters (salary, contract, date, distance), so those filters are applied by the actor after reading each page, never in the URL. There is no login, no cookies, no proxies and no CAPTCHA solving; it sends an honest user agent (ActorForge-Computrabajo) and waits at least 1.5 s between pages.
- Posting dates on results pages are relative ("Hace 3 días"), so postedAt is approximate unless details are on. Salaries are shown as each employer gives them; the currency is the country's (Venezuela's is left empty because offers mix currencies).
- Confidential offers keep the company empty. Recruiter contact details are never collected, and phone numbers and e-mail addresses are removed from descriptions.
- If the site answers with a block or a challenge, the run stops at once, keeps the offers already delivered and adds a free status row. Respects your run budget: set a maximum total charge and the run stops cleanly at the cap. A run with no results returns one free status row.
