## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## MyCareersFuture Jobs Scraper: Singapore Jobs with Salaries

Scrape Singapore's official MyCareersFuture job portal (about 95,000 jobs): title, company with UEN and industry code, salary range in SGD, employment type, seniority, categories, skills, address and coordinates, posting and expiry dates, applications, description. $0.60 per 1,000 jobs.

**A MyCareersFuture scraper for Singapore jobs, with a real salary on every row.** MyCareersFuture is the Singapore government's national job portal (run by Workforce Singapore), where employers must show a **salary range**. Give it keywords (developer, accountant, nurse…) and optional filters, and get one clean row per job posting: **title, company with its UEN and SSIC industry code and description**, the **hiring company** when an agency posts on a client's behalf, **address, postal code, district, region and coordinates**, **monthly salary minimum and maximum in SGD**, **employment type** (permanent, full-time, contract, part-time, internship…), **position level**, categories, **minimum years of experience**, vacancies, **skills**, the SSOC occupation code, flexible work arrangements (telecommuting, flexi-hours), **posted, first posted and expiry dates**, application and view counts, the job link and the **full description**. Filter by minimum salary, employment type, position level and category, and sort by newest or highest salary. Up to 100 jobs per request. Use it for **Singapore salary benchmarking**, recruiting and sourcing, **hiring-company lead lists with UENs**, labour-market research and job alerts. **$0.60 per 1,000 jobs**, with no compute bill on top; problems return a free status row instead of failing.

### What data does it return?

Every run outputs clean, schema-validated rows like these:

| title | company | hiringCompany | salaryMin | salaryMax | salaryPeriod |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Senior Solutions Engineer - Developer Productivity & AI | MICROSOFT REGIONAL SALES PTE. LTD. | | 12500 | 22500 | month |
| OutSystems Developer/ Low Code Engineer | KOPI RECRUIT PTE. LTD. | AVEPOINT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. | 6000 | 7571 | month |
| Full Stack Developer | CYBERLABS AI PTE. LTD. | | 6000 | 12000 | month |

### How much does it cost?

Transparent pay-per-event pricing — you only pay for what you get, and the
actor **always respects your run budget**: set a maximum total charge and it
stops cleanly at the cap instead of overrunning.

| Event | Price | Charged | Worked example |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `job-result` | $0.0006 | per job row | 1,000 jobs = $0.60 (descriptions included) |
| `apify-actor-start` | $0.00005 | per run per GB of memory (platform start fee) | One run at 256 MB = $0.00005 |

### Input options

### Limits & honest notes

- **Responsible use:** you are responsible for using the data in line with MyCareersFuture's terms of use and with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This actor is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MyCareersFuture, Workforce Singapore or the Singapore Government.
- It calls only the public jobs API that the MyCareersFuture website itself uses (api.mycareersfuture.gov.sg, which has no robots.txt, so RFC 9309 allows it; the website's robots.txt allows general crawlers). No login, no cookies, no proxies and no CAPTCHA solving; it sends an honest user agent (ActorForge-MyCareersFuture), waits at least 1 s between requests and checks robots.txt before each one.
- The API takes one value per filter. Salaries, addresses and hiring-company names the employer chose to hide stay empty. Recruiter names and contact details are never collected, and phone numbers and e-mail addresses are removed from descriptions.
- If the site answers with a block, the run stops at once, keeps the jobs already delivered and adds a free status row. Respects your run budget: set a maximum total charge and the run stops cleanly at the cap. A run with no results returns one free status row.
