## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Oracle HCM Jobs Scraper: Oracle Recruiting Cloud Career Sites

Scrape jobs from any Oracle Recruiting Cloud (Oracle Fusion HCM) career site via its public REST API: title, location and other locations, workplace type, category, job function, schedule, posted date, requisition ID, link, and optional full description and qualifications. $1.50 per 1,000 jobs.

**An Oracle HCM jobs scraper for any Oracle Recruiting Cloud career site.** Thousands of large employers (banks, hospitals, retailers, manufacturers, governments and Oracle itself) run their careers pages on **Oracle Fusion HCM / Oracle Recruiting Cloud**, at addresses like *tenant*.fa.*dc*.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1. Paste one or many of those career site URLs, optionally with keywords and a location, and get one clean row per open requisition from the site's own public REST API: **title, company, primary location and country, other locations, workplace type (remote/hybrid/on-site where the employer sets it), job function, schedule, shift, contract and worker type, legal employer, business unit, hot-job flag, posted and end dates, requisition ID** and the job link. Turn on details for the **full description, responsibilities, qualifications, category, skills and number of openings**. Results come newest first, so "posted within N days" runs stop early. Use it for **ATS job feeds and job-board aggregation**, hiring-signal monitoring of target accounts, recruiting market intelligence and competitor hiring analysis. **$1.50 per 1,000 jobs**, with no compute bill on top; problems return a free status row instead of failing.

### What data does it return?

Every run outputs clean, schema-validated rows like these:

| title | company | location | category |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Senior Application Software Engineer | Oracle | HYDERABAD, TELANGANA, India | Product and Research |
| Senior Platform Software Engineer, OCI Planning & Capacity | Oracle | Nashville, TN, United States | Product and Research |
| Configuration Analyst - Drug File/VA Oracle Health | Oracle | Kansas City, MO, United States | Consulting |

### How much does it cost?

Transparent pay-per-event pricing — you only pay for what you get, and the
actor **always respects your run budget**: set a maximum total charge and it
stops cleanly at the cap instead of overrunning.

| Event | Price | Charged | Worked example |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `job-result` | $0.0015 | per job row | 1,000 jobs = $1.50 (with or without details) |
| `apify-actor-start` | $0.00005 | per run per GB of memory (platform start fee) | One run at 256 MB = $0.00005 |

### Input options

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `careerSiteUrls` | array | no | — | Open the employer's careers page and copy any URL that contains /hcmUI/CandidateExperience/…/sites/…, e.g. https://eeho.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_45001 (Oracle). Job and search pages work too. |
| `keywords` | array | no | `[]` | Optional: search each site for these keywords (one search per keyword), e.g. java, nurse, sales. Leave empty for all open jobs. |
| `location` | string | no | `""` | Optional location filter as the site understands it, e.g. India, London, Texas. |
| `postedWithinDays` | integer | no | `0` | Only jobs posted in the last N days (results come newest first, so the run stops early). 0 = any age. |
| `includeDescription` | boolean | no | `false` | Fetch each job's details: full description, responsibilities, qualifications, category, skills and openings (one extra request per job). Phone numbers and e-mail addresses are removed; recruiter and hiring-manager fields are never read. |
| `maxJobsPerSite` | integer | no | `500` | Stop after this many jobs from one career site. |
| `maxItems` | integer | no | `500` | Stop after this many jobs in total. Each job is one charged row. |

### Limits & honest notes

- **Responsible use:** you are responsible for using the data in line with each employer's terms and with data-protection law (GDPR, CCPA). This actor is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Oracle or the employers whose career sites you read.
- It calls only the public, keyless REST endpoints that each Oracle candidate-experience site itself uses, and only on \*.oraclecloud.com hosts (custom domains are refused). Those hosts have no robots.txt (RFC 9309: allowed); robots.txt is still checked on every request. No login, no cookies, no proxies and no CAPTCHA solving; it sends an honest user agent (ActorForge-OracleHCM) and waits at least 1 s between requests to the same host.
- Fields such as workplace type, schedule or legal employer appear only when the employer fills them in. The company name is taken from the career site's title.
- Recruiter names and e-mails and hiring-manager fields are never read, and phone numbers and e-mail addresses are removed from descriptions.
- If a site answers with a block, the run stops at once, keeps the jobs already delivered and adds a free status row. Respects your run budget: set a maximum total charge and the run stops cleanly at the cap. A run with no results returns one free status row.

### Changelog

- **2026-10-23** — Initial release: any \*.oraclecloud.com candidate-experience site, keywords, location, posting age, newest first, optional details (description, responsibilities, qualifications, category, skills) with contacts removed; free status rows.
