## Pricing

$1.00 / 1,000 station fuel prices

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## European Fuel Prices by Station (France, Italy)

Get current petrol, diesel, LPG and other fuel prices for individual filling stations in France and Italy, in one clean schema, straight from each country's official open data feed. Filter by fuel, region, city or postal code, drop stale prices, and ask for just the cheapest N stations per fuel. Because it reads the government feeds directly, there is no scraping, no login and no proxy bill, and every record names its source. Use it for route and fleet cost planning, price comparison, mapping and alerts.

### Coverage

| country | source | update rhythm | stations |
|---|---|---|---|
| France | Prix des carburants, data.economie.gouv.fr (Licence Ouverte 2.0) | stations report through the day | about 9,800 |
| Italy | Osservaprezzi carburanti, Ministry of Enterprise (mimit.gov.it) | daily file | about 24,000 |

More countries are planned. This version covers these two.

### What you get

One record per station and fuel.

| field | example |
|---|---|
| country, stationId | FR, 69970001 |
| brand | Agip Eni (Italy only, France does not publish brands) |
| address, city, postalCode | street, Chaponnay, 69970 |
| region, subdivision | Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, Rhone (Italy gives the province code, for example MI) |
| latitude, longitude | 45.65, 4.927 |
| fuelType, fuelLabel | diesel, Gazole |
| price, currency | 1.829, EUR |
| selfService | true or false for Italy, null for France |
| updatedAt | when the station last reported the price |
| source | data.economie.gouv.fr |

Normalised `fuelType` values are diesel, petrol95, petrol95_e10, petrol98, e85, lpg, cng, lng, hvo, diesel_premium and petrol_premium. The original label stays in `fuelLabel`.

### Example input

```json
{
  "countries": ["FR", "IT"],
  "fuelTypes": ["diesel", "petrol95_e10"],
  "region": "Bretagne",
  "cheapestPerFuel": 20,
  "maxAgeDays": 3
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per result: $1 per 1,000 records. No subscription. Set `maxItems` to cap your spend. A "cheapest 20 per fuel" run costs a few cents.

### Things to know

- **Stale prices are hidden by default.** Prices not updated in the last 7 days are dropped so an old low price does not look like a deal. Set `maxAgeDays` to 0 to keep everything.
- **Livigno, Italy** is a duty-free zone with much lower prices. It often tops "cheapest" lists for Italy. Filter by province or region if you do not want it.
- **Italian prices come in two kinds**, self-service and served. Use `selfServiceOnly` to compare like with like.
- **Station and operator names are not collected** for Italy, because small stations are often named after a person. Brand, address and coordinates are included.
- The Actor reports the feeds as published. It cannot confirm that a station is open right now.

### FAQ

**How fresh is the data?** France updates through the day, Italy once a day. `updatedAt` tells you when each station last reported.

**Can I get UK, Spain or other countries?** Not yet. Open feeds differ by country and each is added after its licence is checked.

**Do you cover electric charging?** No, only liquid and gas fuels.

# Actor input Schema

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Which national price feeds to read. France comes from the government fuel price open data feed (updated about every 10 minutes) and Italy from the Ministry of Enterprise daily price file.

## `fuelTypes` (type: `array`):

Keep only these fuels. diesel, petrol95 (95 octane E5), petrol95_e10, petrol98, e85, lpg, cng, lng, hvo, diesel_premium, petrol_premium. Leave empty for all.

## `region` (type: `string`):

Text matched against the region and the department (France) or province code and region (Italy), for example Bretagne, Rhone or MI.

## `city` (type: `string`):

Only stations whose city name contains this text, for example Lyon or Torino.

## `postalCodePrefix` (type: `string`):

For example 75 for Paris. Italian stations have no postal code in the feed, so use region or city there.

## `selfServiceOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Italy publishes separate self-service and served prices. Turn on to keep only self-service. France has one price per fuel.

## `maxAgeDays` (type: `integer`):

Drop prices the station has not updated within this many days, so stale prices do not look cheap. Use 0 to keep all.

## `maxPriceEur` (type: `number`):

Drop prices above this value.

## `cheapestPerFuel` (type: `integer`):

Keep only the N cheapest stations for each country and fuel after the other filters. Leave empty to keep all.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many records. You are charged per result, so this is also your spending cap.

    "petrol95_e10"
  ],
  "selfServiceOnly": false,
  "maxAgeDays": 7,
  "maxItems": 200
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `prices` (type: `string`):
One record per station and fuel type, in one schema across countries. Field definitions are in the dataset schema.
