## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**Pricing: $1 per 1,000 jobs. On a schedule (only new jobs): $0.004 per search checked + $1 per 1,000 new, changed or removed jobs.**

### What does Arbeitsagentur Jobs Scraper do?

It lists jobs from Germany's federal job board (Bundesagentur für Arbeit, the Jobbörse) for any search and place:
title, employer, occupation, location with coordinates, remote/home-office option, full-time or part-time, contract
type, **salary range** where the employer gives one, start date, publication date, the full description, and the
link to the job.

Run it once for a list, or **schedule it to get only the new jobs** each day. The tool remembers what it has seen, so
a daily run costs a fraction of a cent when nothing is new.

### What you get

|  |  |
|---|---|
| **Source** | The Jobbörse of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Germany's federal job board |
| **Search** | What (title or keywords), where (city or postal code) + radius, type, working time, employer, published within N days |
| **Per job** | Title, employer, occupation, location with coordinates, home office, working time, contract type, salary range (where the employer gives one), start and publication dates, description, link |
| **Schedule** | Only new jobs since the last run, or new + changed + removed jobs |
| **Price** | $1 per 1,000 jobs; on a schedule $0.004 per search checked |

### Use cases

- A daily feed of new jobs for a role and city, into Google Sheets, Slack or your own database.
- Market research: who is hiring for which roles, where, and at what pay.
- Recruiting agencies and job boards: fresh German vacancies without manual searching.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| What | Job title or keywords, like `Softwareentwickler`. Empty = all jobs |
| Where | City or postal code, like `Berlin` or `80331`. Empty = all of Germany |
| Radius | Kilometres around the place (default 25) |
| Type | Jobs, apprenticeships, internships or self-employment |
| Working time | Full-time, part-time, shifts, home office, mini-job |
| Employer | Only jobs from one employer |
| Published within | Only jobs from the last N days |
| Temp agencies / private recruiters | Include or exclude them |
| Full descriptions and salary ranges | Fetches each job's details (on by default) |
| Max jobs | The most jobs per run |

### Output

One row per job:

```json
{
  "id": "ba:10001-1003655167-S",
  "changeType": "new",
  "firstSeenAt": "2026-10-04T19:20:36Z",
  "title": "Pflegefachkraft (m/w/d)",
  "employer": "muk PERSONAL GmbH",
  "occupation": "Altenpfleger/in",
  "city": "München",
  "postalCode": "80331",
  "remote": null,
  "fullTime": true,
  "contractDuration": "permanent",
  "salaryPeriod": "hour",
  "salaryCurrency": "EUR",
  "salaryMin": 27,
  "salaryMax": 30,
  "firstPublishedAt": "2026-09-04",
  "modifiedAt": "2026-09-04T11:31:35.759",
  "url": "https://www.arbeitsagentur.de/jobsuche/jobdetail/10001-1003655167-S",
  "descriptionText": "Unsere Auftraggeber sind etablierte Träger der stationären Altenpflege …"
}
```

Every row has the same keys, in the same order (`null` when the job board doesn't give a value). `changeType` is
`new`, `changed`, `unchanged` or `removed`. A `changed` row lists `changedFields` and the `previous` values.
Emails and phone numbers inside descriptions are replaced by `[redacted]` unless you switch that off.

If the job board is unreachable or rate-limits the request, you get one row with `changeType: "status"` and a
`statusCode` (for example `rate_limited`) instead of an error, and you're not charged for it.

### Schedule it: only new jobs, every day

1. Fill in your search and **save it as a task**.
2. Run it once with **Baseline only** switched on. It remembers today's jobs and lists nothing (cost: one search
   check). Or skip this step and accept that the first run lists every current job once.
3. Set **Output mode** to **Only new results** and add a **schedule** (daily, for example).
4. Connect an **integration** (Slack, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n), or put a **webhook URL** in the input.

Each saved task keeps its own memory, so two tasks never take each other's new jobs. Switching a task between modes
keeps its memory.

**Apify webhook template** (Integrations → Webhook → payload), sending the new jobs' dataset to your endpoint:

```json
{"datasetUrl": "https://api.apify.com/v2/datasets/{{resource.defaultDatasetId}}/items?clean=true&format=json"}
```

**Example of a changed row:**

```json
{"id": "ba:12345-000000-S", "changeType": "changed", "changedFields": ["modifiedAt", "salaryPeriod"],
 "salaryPeriod": "year", "salaryMin": 52000, "salaryMax": 64000,
 "previous": {"title": "Softwareentwickler (m/w/d)", "employer": "Beispiel GmbH", "city": "Berlin",
              "salaryPeriod": null, "modifiedAt": "2026-10-01T09:00:00.000", "url": "…"}}
```

Each run also saves a summary (`OUTPUT` in the run's key-value store): counts of new, changed, unchanged and removed
jobs, and whether the search worked.

### How much does it cost?

- **$1 per 1,000 jobs** listed (on paid Apify plans 10-30% less).
- **On a schedule** (only new, changed or removed jobs): **$0.004 per search checked** plus $1 per 1,000 new, changed or removed jobs.
  A daily search with a few new jobs costs about $0.15-0.25 a month.
- Status rows (source errors) are free. Set a spending limit on the run and the tool stops there.

### Good to know

- `salaryPeriod` is `year`, `month`, `week`, `day` or `hour`, whatever word the board uses; a rare period (every 2 weeks, one-time) comes as the board wrote it.
- In "only new" mode the tool asks the job board just for jobs published since the last run, so daily runs are fast.
- "Removed" jobs are reported only when a search was fetched completely (not cut by Max jobs or an error), so a
  hiccup never reports every job as closed.
- The job board's search interface isn't an official, guaranteed API and can change. If it does, the tool returns a
  status row, and we fix it.

### How it compares

| Instead of | With this tool |
|---|---|
| Searching the Jobbörse by hand | Every result of a search in one table, with salary, coordinates and dates as fields |
| Copying jobs into a spreadsheet | Send them straight to Google Sheets, Slack or a database with an integration |
| A daily full export | 'Only new' mode asks the job board just for jobs published since the last run |

### FAQ

**Which jobs does it cover?** The public job search of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit: jobs, apprenticeships, internships and self-employment offers in Germany.

**Can I search in English?** Yes, with any words. Most jobs on the Jobbörse are written in German, so try German titles too, like `Softwareentwickler`.

**Can I leave out temp agencies?** Yes: there's a switch for temp agencies and private recruiters.

**How do I get only new jobs every day?** Save the search as a task, set Output mode to 'Only new results' and add a schedule; a daily search with a few new jobs costs about $0.15-0.25 a month.

**Is this official?** It uses the public job search of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit, documented by the open-data project bund.dev. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the Bundesagentur.

**Is there a free API I could call myself?** Yes. The Jobbörse search is documented by the open-data project bund.dev: `GET https://rest.arbeitsagentur.de/jobboerse/jobsuche-service/pc/v6/jobs?was=<job>&wo=<place>` with the header `X-API-Key: jobboerse-jobsuche`, paged with `page` and `size`. The full description takes a second request per job, to `/pc/v4/jobdetails/<the job's reference number, Base64-encoded>`. This tool does the paging and the description requests for you, gives salary, coordinates and dates as fields, and on a schedule asks only for jobs published since the last run. It costs $1 per 1,000 jobs; on a schedule, $0.004 per search checked plus $1 per 1,000 new, changed or removed jobs.

## `employer` (type: `string`):

Only jobs from this employer, e.g. 'Deutsche Bahn AG'.

## `publishedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs published in the last N days (0-100). Empty = all.

## `includeTempAgencies` (type: `boolean`):

Jobs from temporary employment agencies.

## `includePrivateAgencies` (type: `boolean`):

Jobs posted by private employment agencies.

## `fetchDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Fetches each job's detail page (description, salary range). In new-only mode only for new or changed jobs.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

The most jobs per run.

## `outputMode` (type: `string`):

'All' lists everything found now. 'Only new' lists results never seen in earlier runs. 'New, changed and removed' also lists results that changed or disappeared. The first scheduled run counts everything as new; use 'Baseline only' to start cheaply.

## `baselineOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Saves what exists now without listing it, so the next scheduled run shows only what's new. Charged like a run with nothing new.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Leave empty: each saved task keeps its own memory. Set a name to share one memory between tasks, or a new name to start over.

## `resetState` (type: `boolean`):

Starts from an empty memory: every result counts as new again.

## `webhookUrl` (type: `string`):

We POST a summary plus up to 100 new, changed or removed results here when something changed. Works with Slack incoming webhooks (choose the Slack format), Zapier, Make and n8n.

## `webhookFormat` (type: `string`):

JSON for automation tools; 'Slack message' sends one line of text.

## `webhookAlways` (type: `boolean`):

By default the webhook is called only when something changed or a source failed.

## `keepContactsInText` (type: `boolean`):

By default, emails and phone numbers inside free text (like job descriptions) are replaced by \[redacted].
