## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Feed: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters & Recruitee

Get every open job straight from company career pages on **6 applicant tracking systems** in one run, one clean format. Data comes from each ATS's **official public job-board API**, the same feed that powers the company's own careers page. No logins, no proxies, no browser, so it's fast, cheap and reliable.

### Who it's for

- **Job boards & niche aggregators**: fill your board with fresh, direct-apply jobs from the companies you track.
- **Recruiters & sales teams**: see who is hiring, for what, and where (hiring = buying signal).
- **Market researchers**: track hiring trends, salary ranges and remote share across companies.

### Features

- 6 ATS platforms: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee
- **Auto-detect**: give just a slug (`stripe`) and the right ATS is found
- **New-jobs-only mode**: schedule it daily and only pay for jobs you haven't seen
- Filters: title keywords, location, remote only, per-company and total caps
- Salary where the employer publishes it (Ashby, Lever, Recruitee)
- Plain-text descriptions, apply URL, department, employment type, posting date

### Input

```json
{
  "companies": ["greenhouse:airbnb", "lever:spotify", "ashby:openai", "stripe"],
  "keywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "remoteOnly": false,
  "onlyNewSinceLastRun": true,
  "maxTotalJobs": 1000
}
```

Find a company's slug in its careers URL: `boards.greenhouse.io/<slug>`, `jobs.lever.co/<slug>`, `jobs.ashbyhq.com/<slug>`, `apply.workable.com/<slug>`, `jobs.smartrecruiters.com/<slug>`, `<slug>.recruitee.com`.

### Output (one item per job)

```json
{
  "ats": "ashby", "company": "openai", "jobId": "fc5bbc77-...", "title": "Data Engineer",
  "location": "San Francisco", "department": "Applied AI", "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "workplaceType": "remote", "salary": "$235K – $385K • Offers Equity",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/fc5bbc77-...", "postedAt": "2023-09-26T22:34:48Z",
  "descriptionText": "ABOUT THE TEAM ...", "scrapedAt": "2026-10-22T14:40:02Z"
}
```

Export to JSON, CSV, Excel, or pipe to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, or n8n via Apify integrations.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$1.50 per 1,000 jobs**, plus a $0.005 start fee per run. Filters and caps are applied *before* charging, so you only pay for jobs you keep. With new-jobs-only mode, a daily feed of 50 companies typically costs cents per day.

### Notes

- Only public job postings are collected. No candidate or personal data.
- Companies that don't use one of the 6 ATSs are skipped and listed in the run's `SUMMARY` record.
- Need another ATS (Personio, Teamtailor, BambooHR, Workday)? Open an issue.
