## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does Website Contact Finder do?

Give it a list of websites and it returns the **emails, phone numbers and social media profiles** it finds on each one. It reads the home page first, then the pages most likely to hold contacts (contact, about, team, imprint, legal, privacy).

- 📧 Emails, including Cloudflare-protected emails, with junk filtered out (image names, placeholders, tracking addresses)
- 📞 Phone numbers from `tel:` links and international numbers in the page text
- 🌐 LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, GitHub, WhatsApp and Telegram links
- 💲 **You pay only for websites where at least one contact is found**, $4 per 1,000 websites. Dead or empty websites are free.
- ⚡ Fast: no browser and no proxy needed, about 10 websites in 10 seconds

### Use cases

- Enrich a lead list (from Google Maps, a CRM or a spreadsheet) with emails and social links
- Find the right contact for outreach, partnerships or PR
- Build B2B prospect lists for a niche or a city

### Input

```json
{
  "websites": ["stripe.com", "https://www.hubspot.com", "basecamp.com"],
  "maxPagesPerSite": 10,
  "maxConcurrency": 10
}
```

### Output

One row per website:

```json
{
  "website": "https://stripe.com",
  "domain": "stripe.com",
  "emails": ["capital@stripe.com", "complaints-in@stripe.com"],
  "phones": ["+1 888 926 2289"],
  "linkedin": ["https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe"],
  "facebook": ["https://www.facebook.com/StripeHQ"],
  "instagram": ["https://www.instagram.com/stripehq"],
  "twitter": ["https://twitter.com/stripe"],
  "youtube": ["https://youtube.com/@StripeDev", "https://youtube.com/@stripe"],
  "contactPageUrl": "https://stripe.com/privacy",
  "pagesCrawled": 10,
  "error": null
}
```

Emails on the website's own domain are listed first. `error` explains websites that could not be read (for example `HTTP 403` or a dead domain).

Export as Excel, CSV or JSON, or connect it to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or your CRM through the Apify API.

### Pricing

**$0.004 per website with contacts found** ($4 per 1,000). Websites with no contacts, errors or blocked pages cost nothing. Platform usage is included.

### Notes

- Websites that need JavaScript to show contact details, or that block bots (for example big brands behind Cloudflare challenges), may return no data. You are not charged for those.
- Use the data responsibly and follow the privacy and anti-spam rules that apply to you (for example GDPR and CAN-SPAM).
