## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Bio Links Pack Scraper (Milkshake · ManyLink · CarveLink · ContactInBio · Shorby · Feedlink)

**Scrape 6 long-tail link-in-bio platforms in one run**: [Milkshake](https://msha.ke), [ManyLink](https://manylink.co), [CarveLink](https://carvelink.com), [ContactInBio](https://contactinbio.com), [Shorby](https://shor.by) and [Feedlink](https://feedlink.io). For every public profile this Actor extracts the **bio, avatar, all links, social profiles, Instagram handle and email address** into one unified dataset — no login required.

Built on the Apify platform, it runs serverless in the cloud, supports scheduling, API access and CSV/JSON/Excel exports, and can be combined with other Actors for lead generation and creator outreach pipelines.

### Why use this Actor?

The six platforms covered here are the long tail of the link-in-bio market. They are underserved by generic scrapers, yet they are frequently used by influencers, small businesses, podcasters and real-estate agents who put their contact details and socials on a public page. Use cases:

- **Lead generation** — collect the email, Instagram and social profiles of every creator using these platforms.
- **Competitor / brand monitoring** — track what links competitors publish on their bio pages.
- **Creator discovery** — find active creators on Milkshake, Shorby and Feedlink, platforms that are popular with Instagram/TikTok-first audiences.
- **Enrichment** — feed the output into CRM tools, enrichment APIs or other Apify Actors.

### How to use this Actor

1. Open the Actor and press **Start**.
2. In the **Input** tab, paste one profile URL per line (see the pre-filled examples). Bare handles are treated as Milkshake profiles; prefix a bare handle with `@` for ManyLink.
3. Optionally set a **Max profiles** cap and toggle **Resolve Shorby short links** (on by default).
4. Run it — each profile is scraped in seconds. Download the results as **JSON, HTML, CSV or Excel** from the dataset tab.

#### Supported URL formats

| Platform | URL format | Example |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Milkshake | `https://msha.ke/<handle>/` | `https://msha.ke/eexample/` |
| ManyLink | `https://manylink.co/@<handle>` | `https://manylink.co/@test` |
| CarveLink | `https://carvelink.com/<slug>` | `https://carvelink.com/someone` |
| ContactInBio | `https://<handle>.contactinbio.com/` (also `.ctcin.bio`, `.contactin.bio`, `allmy.link`) | `https://tsukixmomo.ctcin.bio/` |
| Shorby | `https://shor.by/<code>` | `https://shor.by/ZfB6` |
| Feedlink | `https://feedlink.io/<handle>` | `https://feedlink.io/carbarnbeamish` |

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `profiles` | string\[] (required) | Profile URLs, one per line. Bare handles default to Milkshake; `@handle` defaults to ManyLink. |
| `maxProfiles` | integer | Maximum profiles to scrape. `0` = unlimited. Free users are capped at **10 profiles**. |
| `resolveShortLinks` | boolean | Follow Shorby short-code redirects (`shor.by/<code>`) to record the real destination URL. One extra request per link. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | Apify proxy settings. Off by default; enable for large or repeated runs. |

Example input:

```json
{
  "profiles": [
    "https://msha.ke/eexample/",
    "https://manylink.co/@test",
    "https://shor.by/ZfB6",
    "https://feedlink.io/carbarnbeamish",
    "tsukixmomo.ctcin.bio"
  ],
  "maxProfiles": 100,
  "resolveShortLinks": true
}
```

### Output

One dataset item per profile, with a `platform` field so you can filter results. Example:

```json
{
  "url": "https://feedlink.io/carbarnbeamish",
  "platform": "feedlink",
  "username": "carbarnofficial",
  "profileId": "13470",
  "displayName": "Car Barn Beamish",
  "verified": true,
  "bio": "Welcome to the North East's premier sports, prestige and classic dealer...",
  "avatarUrl": "https://embedsocial.com/admin/uploads/feedlink/profile-photo/...",
  "instagramUrl": "https://www.instagram.com/carbarnofficial/",
  "links": [
    { "title": "About Us", "url": "https://www.carbarn.co.uk/about.html", "linkId": "77152" }
  ],
  "socialProfiles": [
    { "network": "facebook", "platform": "Facebook", "url": "https://www.facebook.com/carbarnbeamish/" }
  ],
  "email": [],
  "scrapedAt": "2026-08-07T10:00:00.000Z"
}
```

You can download the dataset in various formats such as **JSON, HTML, CSV, or Excel**.

### How much does it cost to scrape these sites?

All six platforms are server-rendered static HTML, so the Actor uses a fast **Cheerio crawler (HTTP, no browser)** — typically **1 compute unit per few thousand profiles**. Free Apify accounts are limited to **10 profiles per run**; paid plans get the full quota (`maxProfiles`). The only optional extra cost is **Apify proxy** (a few cents per GB) if you hit rate limits on very large runs.

### Tips and advanced options

- **Filter by platform** in the dataset to slice the output per network.
- **Milkshake links**: the platform hides most of its "chrome" links (app stores, report page, help center) automatically, so `links` contains only real creator links. Social icons from the splash card appear in both `links` and `socialProfiles`.
- **Shorby** stores every destination behind a short code. Keep `resolveShortLinks: true` to record the real URL (a HEAD request per link). If a destination site is down, the short code's target URL is still recorded.
- **ManyLink** wraps every link in a session-bound tracking URL (`manylink.co/f/...`). The real destination host is shown in the link's `group` field.
- **Large runs**: raise `maxProfiles`, keep the default concurrency, and enable proxy if you see rate limiting.

### FAQ, disclaimers and support

**Why do CarveLink profiles return an error?** CarveLink renders its entire site (including public profile pages) client-side, so raw HTML contains no profile data. Browser-based extraction would be required for this platform — open an issue if you need it.

**Why is a profile's email empty?** Several platforms (ContactInBio, Milkshake) route contact through in-page forms instead of public `mailto:` links, so no email is exposed to visitors. Emails are extracted wherever they appear as `mailto:` links.

**Is scraping these sites legal?** This Actor only fetches publicly accessible profile pages that require no login, and it respects `robots.txt` and the platforms' Terms of Service. You are responsible for how you use the data (e.g. GDPR compliance for personal data).

**Support**: report bugs or request new platforms in the Issues tab of this Actor. Need a custom scraper? Contact the author for a tailored solution.

# Actor input Schema

## `profiles` (type: `array`):

One public profile URL per line. Supported platforms: Milkshake (msha.ke/<handle>), ManyLink (manylink.co/@<handle>), CarveLink (carvelink.com/<slug>), ContactInBio (<handle>.contactinbio.com, .ctcin.bio, .contactin.bio or allmy.link/<handle>), Shorby (shor.by/<code>) and Feedlink (feedlink.io/<handle>). Bare handles are assumed to be Milkshake profiles (prefix with @ for ManyLink).

## `maxProfiles` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of profiles to scrape. 0 = unlimited. Free users are capped at 10 profiles.

## `resolveShortLinks` (type: `boolean`):

Shorby stores every link as a short code (e.g. shor.by/FKs9) that redirects to the real destination. When enabled, the actor follows each redirect (one extra request per link) and records the final URL.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy to use when accessing the platforms. Direct access works for small batches; enable residential/datacenter proxy for large or repeated runs to avoid rate-limiting.
