## Changelog

All notable changes to this Actor are documented here.

### 2026-09-23

#### Maintenance update

- **New field `postedOn`** says who published each posting: `Job Bank` when the
employer posted it there, or the partner board (such as `Talent.com`) whose posting
Job Bank republishes. Partner postings have no education, experience, language or
work-hours sections, which is why those fields are missing on them. On a
`software developer` search in Toronto, 48 of 50 postings were partner ones, so
`postedOn` is also in the overview table. Filter on `postedOn: "Job Bank"` for
  postings with the full requirements.

#### Maintenance update

- Fixed: postings where the keyword appears only in the employer's name are now skipped.
Job Bank also searches employer names, so `developer` returned property managers,
plumbers and cooks at "… Developments Ltd." instead of developer jobs.
- The example input is now `software developer` in Toronto, which returns real
  developer postings.
- `salaryMin` and `salaryMax` no longer contain thousands separators (`60000`, not
`60,000`), so annual and hourly amounts both read as plain numbers.
- A search that matches nothing now ends with a clear status message and an empty
dataset, instead of adding a placeholder `no_results` row.
- If Job Bank's search pages can't be loaded at all, the run now fails with an
explanation instead of finishing as successful.
- Dependencies are pinned to their tested major versions, and the build now stops if
the browser fallback can't be installed.
- Default run memory is now 1 GB (was 2 GB), which halves the per-GB start charge.
Memory can be set between 1 GB and 4 GB.

#### 0.1.0 — Initial release

- **Keyword search** of Job Bank postings with an optional city/province filter.
- **Structured output**: job title, employer, city, province, postal code, salary
range and period, work hours, employment type, education, experience,
language, shift, NOC code, benefits, posting and expiry dates.
- **Search pagination** with automatic de-duplication across pages.
- **Direct posting URLs** (Advanced) for exact records.
- One bad posting never fails the run — returns an error row instead.
- Politeness delays between requests and a per-URL time budget.
- Graceful stop at the result cap and at any per-run spending limit.
