## Changelog

### 0.1.11 - 2026-08-06

**Long pages now return a file instead of an error.** A capture larger than the 60-megapixel
budget is clamped to the top of the page and marked `warning`, with a `captureClamped`
modification recording how much was captured. Tall pages on mobile and tablet previously failed
with no deliverable.

**Clearer failures.**

- A page that loads but cannot be encoded now reports `OUTPUT_GENERATION_FAILED` instead of
`NAVIGATION_FAILED`, which had pointed at a page load that actually succeeded.
- Very large images that could not be validated returned an opaque internal error; they now return
  an actionable message.
- Slow destinations are reported roughly twice as fast. Navigation, selector, and readiness
timeouts are reported on the first attempt rather than re-attempted. Crashes and connection
resets still retry automatically, and the `retryable` field in the manifest is unchanged.

**Documentation and defaults.**

- The input form prefills three example URLs so a first run demonstrates batch output.
- Documented that WebP cannot encode long full pages: the format caps either axis at 16,383 pixels
after the device scale factor. Use PNG or JPEG for full-page captures.
- The Actor now requires 4 GB of memory, matching the largest capture it will attempt.
- The low-latency request-response interface is not enabled in this release.

### 0.1.0 - 2026-08-05

- First release: batch rendering of up to 20 public URLs across desktop, tablet, mobile, and
  custom viewports.
- PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF, and all-or-nothing verified packs.
- Verification manifests with readiness checks, byte counts, decoded dimensions, and SHA-256
  hashes for every file.
- Bounded waits for fonts, document completion, network quiet, lazy-loaded content, and optional
  selectors.
- Cookie-banner hiding for strongly identified vendors, recorded as an explicit modification.
- Destination validation on every request and redirect; private and internal addresses are blocked.
- Completed work is rebuilt after a platform migration so it is never repeated or charged twice.
