## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Walmart Scraper - Search Results, Prices, Sellers & Stock

Get the **products of any Walmart search or product link**: **price, was price and savings, rating and number of ratings, seller, stock, delivery promises, badges** (Best seller, Rollback...) and whether the result is **sponsored**, in the order Walmart shows them.

Sort and filter like on walmart.com, go through up to 25 result pages per search, and **pay per product delivered**. Walmart only answers residential IP addresses: the US residential proxy is built in and **its cost is included in the price**.

### What you get for each product

| Group | Fields |
| --- | --- |
| Product | Walmart item ID, product ID, name, brand (when shown), product type, category, image, link |
| Price | Current price, was price, savings, lowest price among options (sizes, colors), unit price, currency |
| Reputation | Average rating, number of ratings |
| Offer | Seller, sold by Walmart or not, number of other sellers, stock status |
| Search | Position, page, sponsored flag, badges, delivery promises ("Free shipping, arrives tomorrow"), total results |

### Use cases

- **Price monitoring**: track prices, discounts and stock of your products or your competitors' every day.
- **Market research**: see which brands, sellers and price points lead a search, and who pays for sponsored placement.
- **Marketplace sellers**: watch the competition on your keywords, and whether Walmart itself sells the same item.
- **Product watch lists**: paste product links to get their current price, rating, seller and stock.
- **AI agents**: give an assistant live Walmart prices through the API or the Apify MCP server.

### How to use it

1. Enter **keywords** (`air fryer`), **Walmart search links** (with any filters you set on walmart.com), or **product links** (`https://www.walmart.com/ip/...`), one per line.
2. Choose the **sort order** and, if needed, a **price range**.
3. Set **Max products per search**.
4. Click **Start**, then download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the API.

  "additionalOffers": null,
  "totalResults": 2197,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-19T13:30:00Z"
}
```
A product link comes back with the same fields (`queryType` is `product`), read from Walmart's search for its item ID.
### Pricing
**$1.50 per 1,000 products** (pay per event), residential proxy included. Searches that fail or find nothing come back with an `error` field and are **not charged**. Use "Max products per search" and a maximum cost per run in the run options to keep full control.
#### How much does it cost to scrape Walmart?
| Run | Cost |
| --- | --- |
| 100 products of one search | $0.15 |
| 1,000 products (10 searches of 100) | $1.50 |
| 500 products checked every day for a month (15,000 products) | $22.50 a month |
Apify's free plan includes $5 of usage every month: enough for about 3,300 products a month without paying anything.
### Use it from code or from an AI agent
- **API:** start a run and fetch the dataset with the Apify API or the Python and JavaScript clients.
- **Schedules:** run it every day on your keywords or product links to build a price history.
- **AI agents:** the Actor is available as a tool through the Apify MCP server, so assistants such as Claude can look up Walmart products directly.
### FAQ
**Which Walmart site?** walmart.com (United States). Prices and delivery promises are the ones walmart.com shows to a visitor without a ZIP code set.
**How many products per search?** Walmart shows up to 25 pages per search (about 1,000 products). Narrow a big search with a price range or a category to go further.
**Can I scrape a category page?** Walmart refuses automated visits to category pages (`/browse/...`). Search inside the category on walmart.com instead: that search link (with `cat_id`) works here, with its filters.
**Why a residential proxy?** Walmart answers a bot check to datacenter IP addresses. The US residential proxy is the default and its cost is on us, not on you: keep it.
**Are reviews included?** No individual reviews: only the average rating and the number of ratings.
**Is this an official Walmart product?** No. This Actor is not affiliated with or endorsed by Walmart. It reads the public product information walmart.com shows to any visitor and collects no personal data.
