## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

## ATS Jobs Scraper — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby

Get open jobs from any company on Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby in one unified schema — title, location, department, type, url, posted date. Public JSON APIs, no auth. Pairs with the job-change monitor.

Built reliability-first: **every row reports what was found and what was missing** — you never get a
silent blank, and a run summary tells you exactly what happened.

### What you get

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `provider` | Provider |
| `company` | Company |
| `title` | Title |
| `location` | Location |
| `department` | Department |
| `employmentType` | Employment Type |
| `url` | Url |
| `postedAt` | Posted At |

### How to use it

1. Fill in the input (see the example below).
2. Run it once for a snapshot, or **schedule it** to keep the data fresh.
3. Export to CSV/JSON/Excel, or push straight to Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Make, or n8n.

### Input

```json
{
  "boards": [
    "greenhouse:stripe"
  ],
  "companies": [],
  "titleIncludes": [],
  "titleExcludes": [],
  "locationIncludes": [],
  "maxItems": 10000
}
```

### Sample output

```json
[
{
  "provider": "EX12345",
  "company": "example",
  "title": "Example title",
  "location": "example",
  "department": "example",
  "employmentType": "example",
  "url": "https://example.com/item/1",
  "postedAt": "2026-09-03T09:00:00.000Z"
}
]
```

### Typical uses

- Schedule it and feed the output straight into your sheet, database, or app.
- Pair it with the related actors below to build a complete pipeline.

### Pricing

**$1.00 / 1,000 results** (`$0.001` per result), plus a near-zero start fee. You are **never charged beyond your limit**, and blocked or
failed items are reported honestly — not billed as data.

### FAQ & limitations

- Covers Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby (the big public-API ATSs). Workday/Taleo etc. aren't
  public JSON and aren't included.
- A bare company name is matched by trying each provider; if none return jobs it's reported.
- `description` is a cleaned preview (first 500 chars), not the full posting body.
- **Integrations:** output works with Zapier, Make, n8n, and any webhook via Apify's integrations.
- **Formats:** results export as JSON, CSV, Excel, or HTML from the dataset.
