## Changelog

### 2026-10-05

- A run with only Locations, Industries or Company size and no keywords now says in its status that the filters narrow a search and that keywords are needed, instead of the general "Nothing to scrape" sentence.

### 2026-10-02 (reliability)

- When LinkedIn refuses requests for a while, a company is retried longer and, if it is still refused, once more at the end of the run, so such runs save the company instead of failing.
- A run that gets close to its timeout stops on its own, keeps every company it already saved and ends as succeeded with a status saying how many inputs were not finished, instead of timing out.

### 2026-09-16

- `openJobCount`: the number of jobs the company lists on LinkedIn worldwide, on every record at no extra charge (input **Include open jobs count**, on by default).
- Websites resolve to the right page more often and at a lower cost: renamed brands (an old domain that redirects to the new one) and brands that list a campaign or short link on LinkedIn now lead to the company's own page.
- Keyword searches find more companies, especially searches narrowed by location.
- A search without filters stops earlier when few of the checked pages match its words.
- A page that loads without the expected content is fetched at most three times instead of seven.

### 2026-09-15 (first release)

- LinkedIn company pages without a login: name, tagline, description, website, industry, company type, size band and exact employee count, followers, founded year, specialties, headquarters and every office address with country and state names, logo and cover images, the company's jobs link, similar and affiliated pages.
- Company names and websites: each line returns the best-matching company page. A website is matched with the website the company lists on LinkedIn; unofficial duplicate pages and a brand's regional or careers pages give way to the main page, and well-known brands that list a campaign or short link are matched by brand name. Placeholder addresses (`example.com`) are skipped.
- Keyword search with location, industry (names or LinkedIn industry IDs, sub-industries included; retired IDs are reported) and company size filters. Only companies that pass the filters are saved and charged; companies from filtered searches carry an extra "filtered search result" event.
- Recent posts the company published, at no extra charge: link, exact date, text, reactions, comments, images, video flag, link preview and shared posts. Posts from personal profiles never carry the person's name or profile link.
- Input accepts company and showcase page URLs (also subpages, country addresses and Sales Navigator links), page names and numeric company IDs; the same company reached through two inputs is saved once.
- Field names follow the most used LinkedIn company Actors, so existing integrations keep working.
- $1 per 1,000 companies, plus $1 per 1,000 for companies from a filtered search, no start fee. The run's maximum total charge is honoured before a company is fetched, and a restarted run does not scrape or charge saved companies again.
