## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Personio Jobs Scraper — any career site on Personio to JSON

Pull every open position from company career sites hosted on Personio, the HR platform used by more than 10,000 European small and mid-size companies. You get the title, office, department, seniority, employment type and schedule, created date, job link and every description section as HTML and plain text.

The Actor reads Personio's official XML job feed rather than scraping HTML, so it does not break when a career site is redesigned.

### Who uses this

- **Recruiters and staffing agencies** in the DACH region and across Europe.
- **Sales teams** using hiring as an intent signal for outreach to growing SMEs.
- **Job boards and aggregators** that want structured feeds without per-site scrapers.
- **Analysts** tracking hiring by company, city or department.

### How to use

1. Paste one or more subdomains or career-site URLs, one per line: `acme` (for acme.jobs.personio.de), `https://acme.jobs.personio.de`, `https://acme.jobs.personio.com`.
2. Optionally filter by title keywords, location, or posted-within-days.
3. Run. Download from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel, or schedule and connect Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or a webhook.

The subdomain is the part before `.jobs.personio.de` or `.jobs.personio.com` on the company's career page.

### Output fields

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| companySlug / companyName | personio / Personio SE & Co. KG |
| jobId | 1834171 |
| title | Staff Software Engineer, Data Platform |
| url / applyUrl | job page and apply anchor |
| postedAt | 2024-11-13T14:10:41.000Z |
| city / locationText | Munich / Munich, Berlin |
| department / jobFunction | Product and Tech / software\_and\_web\_development |
| employmentType / experienceLevel | permanent, full-time / experienced |
| descriptionHtml / descriptionText | every description section with its heading |
| extra | recruiting category, occupation category, years of experience, keywords |

### Pricing

You pay per job returned. Descriptions are included at no extra cost. Use **Maximum results** to cap any run.

### Notes

- Personio feeds list only currently published jobs and do not carry a remote flag; use **Location contains** with `remote` where companies put it in the office name.
- Use the data in line with each company's site terms.
