## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SmartRecruiters Jobs Scraper — any company's career site to JSON

Pull every open position from companies that hire through SmartRecruiters (Bosch, Visa, IKEA, LVMH, Sodexo and tens of thousands more). You get the title, location, remote flag, department, employment type, experience level, posted date, apply link and the full description as HTML and plain text.

The Actor reads the public SmartRecruiters postings API rather than scraping HTML, so it does not break when a career site is redesigned and it returns clean, consistent fields for every company.

### Who uses this

- **Recruiters and staffing agencies** watching competitors' or clients' openings.
- **Sales teams** using hiring as an intent signal: a company posting five SDR roles is buying sales tools.
- **Job boards and aggregators** that need structured feeds without per-site scrapers.
- **Analysts and researchers** tracking hiring trends by company, department or location.

### How to use

1. Paste one or more company identifiers or career-site URLs, one per line. Any of these work: `bosch`, `https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/Bosch`, `https://careers.smartrecruiters.com/Visa`.
2. Optionally filter by title keywords, location, remote only, or posted-within-days.
3. Run. Download from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV or Excel, or schedule daily and connect Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or a webhook.

Not sure of a company's identifier? Open its career site: the first path segment after `jobs.smartrecruiters.com/` or `careers.smartrecruiters.com/` is the identifier.

### Output fields

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| companySlug / companyName | Bosch / Bosch Group |
| jobId | 744000148454651 |
| title | Data Operations Consultant |
| url / applyUrl | posting page and direct apply link |
| postedAt | 2026-09-09T09:43:26.403Z |
| city / region / country / remote | Poland / Remote / PL / true |
| locationText | Poland, Remote, Poland |
| department / jobFunction | Technical Services / Information Technology |
| employmentType / experienceLevel | Contract / Associate |
| language | en |
| descriptionHtml / descriptionText | full job ad with company description, responsibilities, qualifications and additional information |
| extra | refNumber, uuid, industry, hybrid flag, custom fields |

### Pricing

You pay per job returned. Turning off **Include full job description** makes runs faster; it does not change the price per job. Use **Maximum results** to cap any run.

### Notes

- Only currently open, public postings are returned.
- Companies can have thousands of postings; set **Maximum jobs per company** to control run size.
- Data is provided by the SmartRecruiters public API; use it in line with each company's terms.
