## Pricing

from $0.35 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## YouTube Channel Scraper: All Videos & Channel Stats

Scrape **every video of a YouTube channel** into JSON, CSV or Excel. Paste channel URLs or names and get **one row
per video** with title, URL, views, upload date, duration and thumbnail, and the **channel's info on every row**:
subscribers, total views, number of videos, country, join date, description and avatar.

- **No API key, no quota, no login.** It reads what youtube.com shows a logged-out visitor.
- **Whole channels:** pages through the Videos tab until `maxResults` or the channel's first video.
- **Newest, popular or oldest first**, the same sort buttons as on the channel page.
- **Shorts and live streams** on request (`type` says which).
- **Date limit:** only videos from the last 30 days, 6 months, or since a date.
- **Full details** on request: exact views, likes, comment count, exact upload time, description, tags, category.
- **Monitoring:** scheduled runs that return only videos you haven't received yet.

This Actor is a focused version of the [YouTube Scraper](https://apify.com/alom/youtube-scraper) (same code). Use
the YouTube Scraper if you also need search, playlists, hashtags, comments, community posts or subtitles.

### What can you use it for?

- **Influencer and creator research:** subscribers, upload frequency, views per video, country.
- **Competitor tracking:** what your competitors published this month and how it performed.
- **Content research:** a channel's most popular videos, titles and lengths.
- **Monitoring:** a daily list of new uploads from a set of channels.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `startUrls` | Channel URLs: `youtube.com/@MrBeast`, `/channel/UC…`, `/c/…`, `/user/…`. |
| `channels` | Optional: channel names or handles (`nasa`, `@mkbhd`). Same as the URL. |
| `maxResults` | Max videos per channel. Default 20. `0` = one channel info row per channel, no videos. |
| `sortVideosBy` | `NEWEST` (default), `POPULAR` or `OLDEST`. |
| `includeShorts` / `includeStreams` | Also scrape the Shorts tab / the Live tab, up to `maxResults` each. |
| `oldestPostDate` | Only videos published after a date (`2026-01-31`) or an age (`30 days`). Forces newest first. |
| `includeVideoDetails` | Open every video for likes, exact counts, exact upload time, description and tags. Slower, same price. |
| `onlyNewSinceLastRun` + `monitorName` | Skip videos an earlier run with the same monitoring name returned. |

```json
{ "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://www.youtube.com/@mkbhd" }], "channels": ["veritasium"], "maxResults": 500, "includeShorts": true }
```

`channelUrls` and `youtubeHandles` are understood too. The field names above are the same as in the YouTube
Scraper, so an input works in both.

### Output example

```json
{
    "type": "video",
    "id": "v9QtM6qnG50",
    "url": "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9QtM6qnG50",
    "title": "I Built A City To Save Kids From Illegal Labor",
    "viewCount": 82000000,
    "viewCountText": "82M views",
    "date": "2026-09-20T11:40:00.000Z",
    "dateText": "10 days ago",
    "dateIsExact": false,
    "duration": "00:19:02",
    "durationSeconds": 1142,
    "thumbnailUrl": "https://i.ytimg.com/vi/v9QtM6qnG50/hq720.jpg",
    "channelId": "UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA",
    "channelName": "MrBeast",
    "channelUrl": "https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA",
    "channelUsername": "MrBeast",
    "numberOfSubscribers": 519000000,
    "isChannelVerified": true,
    "channelDescription": "SUBSCRIBE FOR A COOKIE! …",
    "channelLocation": "United States",
    "channelJoinedDate": "Feb 19, 2012",
    "channelTotalVideos": 1004,
    "channelTotalViews": 141227305543,
    "channelAvatarUrl": "https://yt3.googleusercontent.com/…",
    "fromChannelListPage": "videos",
    "order": 0,
    "fromYTUrl": "https://www.youtube.com/@MrBeast/videos",
    "input": "https://www.youtube.com/@MrBeast",
    "scrapedAt": "2026-09-30T11:40:00.000Z"
}
```

Rows have more fields (likes, description, tags, chapters, …) that are filled with `includeVideoDetails` and
`null` otherwise. Values YouTube doesn't show on the channel page are `null`, never a made-up `0`. Shorts rows have
`"type": "shorts"`, streams `"type": "stream"` and `liveStatus`. With `maxResults: 0` each channel gives one row
with `"type": "channel"` and the channel fields only.

### How much does it cost?

Pay per result, platform usage (compute and proxy) included. One result = one
video, Short, stream or channel-info row.

| Apify plan | Price per 1,000 results |
|---|---|
| Free | $0.80 |
| Starter (Bronze) | $0.55 |
| Scale (Silver) | $0.45 |
| Business (Gold) and above | $0.35 |

1,000 videos from 10 channels cost **$0.80** on the Free plan and **$0.35** on Business. `includeVideoDetails` does not change the price. Inputs that fail (a deleted video, an unknown channel, a URL this Actor doesn't take) produce no row and no
charge, and so do rows skipped by monitoring.

### Monitoring (only new videos)

Turn on **Only new videos since my last run**, give it a name (e.g. `competitors-daily`) and schedule the run. Each
run looks at the newest `maxResults` videos of each channel and returns only the ones no earlier run with that name
returned. Skipped videos are not charged.

### Limitations

- **The channel page shows rounded numbers:** views as "82M views" (`viewCount` is then 82000000) and dates as
  "10 days ago" (`date` is estimated and `dateIsExact` is `false`). Turn on `includeVideoDetails` for exact views,
  likes and upload times (about 5-10x slower, same price per row).
- **Shorts tiles have no date or duration.** With `oldestPostDate` each Short's date is looked up automatically.
- **Popular / Oldest sorting** needs the sort buttons YouTube shows on the channel; a channel without them is
  scraped newest first (logged).
- **Members-only and private videos** are not listed to logged-out visitors.
- Subscriber counts are rounded the way YouTube shows them ("519M").
- An unknown channel fails only that input; it is named in the status message and the `NOT_FOUND` record.

### FAQ

**Do I need a YouTube account or an API key?** No.

**Is it legal?** It collects publicly visible data. You are responsible for how you use it, including data
protection rules for personal data.

**Why did my run say "partial"?** Some channels could not be finished (for example the run hit its timeout).
Everything scraped so far is in the dataset; the status message says what was missed.

Channel URLs (<code>youtube.com/@MrBeast</code>, <code>/channel/UC…</code>, <code>/c/…</code>, <code>/user/…</code>).

## `channels` (type: `array`):

Handles with or without <code>@</code> (e.g. <code>nasa</code>, <code>@mkbhd</code>). Same as putting the channel URL above.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Regular videos from each channel's Videos tab. <code>0</code> = one channel info row per channel (no videos).

## `sortVideosBy` (type: `string`):

The sort buttons on the channel's Videos tab.

## `includeShorts` (type: `boolean`):

Also scrape the channel's Shorts tab (up to <b>Max videos per channel</b> Shorts).

## `includeStreams` (type: `boolean`):

Also scrape the channel's Live tab: past, live and upcoming streams (up to <b>Max videos per channel</b>).

## `oldestPostDate` (type: `string`):

A date (<code>2026-01-31</code>) or an age (<code>30 days</code>, <code>6 months</code>). Forces <b>Newest</b> order.

## `includeVideoDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Opens every video to add exact views, likes, comment count, exact upload time, full description, tags and category. About 2 extra requests per video, so runs take longer; the price per row stays the same.

## `onlyNewSinceLastRun` (type: `boolean`):

Skip videos that an earlier run with the same <b>Monitoring name</b> already returned (they are not charged). Schedule the run for daily or weekly monitoring.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Any name, e.g. <code>competitors-weekly</code>. Runs with the same name share their memory. Defaults to <code>default</code>.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many channels are processed at the same time.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

The default (Apify datacenter proxy) works for YouTube and is included in the price. If YouTube starts blocking it, the run switches to residential proxies on its own and says so in the log.
