## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SME funding radar: Innosuisse, KfW, Förderdatenbank, aws

Find **funding programmes for SMEs** (KMU) in **Switzerland, Germany and Austria** and download them as **Excel**. Switzerland reads the public **Innosuisse** pages, including open calls. Germany reads **KfW** company programmes and, when the site allows it, the **Förderdatenbank**. Austria reads **aws**. No code. The form and the API use the same fields.

Programme titles stay in German when that is how the office published them.

### How to run it

1. Leave **Switzerland** and **Germany** selected, or add **Austria**.
2. Optionally type a word such as **Innovation**, or leave it empty to list what is on the page.
3. Click **Start**. Export **Excel**.
4. Turn on **Only programmes I have not received yet** and schedule it weekly so you only see new links.

### What one row looks like

| Country | Source | Title |
|---|---|---|
| CH | innosuisse | Mehr über «Förderung für Nationale Projekte» |
| DE | kfw | (programme title from the KfW page) |

Für einen wöchentlichen Alert **Only new** einschalten. Das sind die öffentlichen Programmseiten, keine Garantie, dass ein Antrag noch offen ist.

### Input (form = API)

| Field | What it does | Example |
|---|---|---|
| **countries** | `CH`, `DE`, `AT`. Names work too. | `["CH","DE"]` |
| **keywords** | Optional word in the title. Empty lists the page. | `Innovation` |
| **maxResults** | Cost cap, 1–200. | `30` |
| **onlyNew** | Skip links you already received. | `false` |
| **alertName** | Separate memory per topic. | `energy` |

Aliases: `country`, `keyword`, `query`, `limit`.

### Pricing

**$0.004 per programme** returned. Links skipped by **onlyNew** are free. SILVER 10% off, GOLD and above 20% off.

### FAQ

**Is every row an open call with a deadline?** No. Innosuisse has a page of calls, and the other rows are the funding offers published on the official pages. Open the link to see the deadline.

**The German Förderdatenbank returned nothing.** That site sometimes blocks automated requests. KfW and Innosuisse still return rows, and the run status says which source failed.

**Can my CRM call this?** Yes. Post the same JSON the form sends.

### For developers: API

`POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/alpine-data~sme-funding-radar/runs?token=YOUR_TOKEN`

```json
{
  "countries": ["CH", "DE"],
  "keywords": ["Innovation"],
  "maxResults": 30,
  "onlyNew": true,
  "alertName": "innovation"
}
```

An empty body uses Switzerland, Germany and the word Innovation.

### Limits

Public pages only. This Actor is not affiliated with Innosuisse, KfW, the Förderdatenbank or aws. It does not file an application.

# Actor input Schema

## `countries` (type: `array`):

API: an array of CH, DE, AT. Names such as Switzerland, Deutschland or Österreich also work.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Leave empty to list the current programmes. Or type a word such as Innovation, Energie or Digital. API: an array, or one string.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

The run stops after this many programmes, so the cost stays capped.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

For a weekly schedule. Already returned links are free.

## `alertName` (type: `string`):

Separate memory when you watch more than one topic.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "countries": [
    "CH",
    "DE"
  ],
  "keywords": [],
  "maxResults": 30,
  "onlyNew": false,
  "alertName": ""
}
```
