## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Alibaba Listed Price and MOQ

Export the displayed product title, listed price, minimum order quantity, and product link from Alibaba category pages as JSON or CSV.

The Actor reads only the first page for each supplied category URL. Results reflect the page at the time of the run. Supplier prices and minimum orders can change and may depend on options or negotiations. They are not a quote and do not include a shipping, tax, or delivery estimate.

### Input

Leave the input empty to scan the Power Strips category with a 100-product limit. To scan other categories, provide one to 100 category page URLs. The Actor visits each URL once and does not follow pagination.

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    {"url": "https://www.alibaba.com/category/Power-Strips_201155409.html"},
    {"url": "https://www.alibaba.com/category/Circuit-Breakers_141914.html"}
  ],
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

Only canonical `https://www.alibaba.com/category/<name>_<numeric-id>.html` URLs are accepted. Extra input fields are rejected.

### Dataset fields

Each product row contains the numeric product ID, title, displayed price, displayed MOQ, canonical product link, category ID, source category URL, and observation time. Price ranges and MOQ units remain in their displayed text. The Actor may also include numeric range bounds, a displayed currency symbol, or a recognized ISO currency code when present in the source.

Example row (illustrative values):

```json
{
  "product_id": "1600921918104",
  "source_record_id": "1600921918104",
  "title": "Example Surge Protector Power Strip",
  "price": "$5-6.88",
  "moq": "5 pieces",
  "url": "https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Example-Surge-Protector_1600921918104.html",
  "category_id": "201155409",
  "source_url": "https://www.alibaba.com/category/Power-Strips_201155409.html",
  "observed_at": "2026-10-27T20:00:00Z",
  "price_min": 5.0,
  "price_max": 6.88,
  "currency_symbol": "$"
}
```

Seller names, contact details, profiles, descriptions, images, and other page content are not included. Rows with an unclear price, missing MOQ, mismatched product ID, or duplicate product ID are skipped.

### Run results and billing

The `OUTPUT` record reports each category URL, HTTP status, useful product count, rows written, failures, and categories left unattempted after a stop. CAPTCHA, login, access-denied, rate-limit, and server-error responses stop the run without retry. Failed pages and skipped products do not create product-row charges.

Example blocked run summary:

```json
{
  "status": "blocked",
  "records_written": 0,
  "health": {"attempted": 1, "succeeded": 0, "blocked": 1},
  "failedURLs": [
    {
      "url": "https://www.alibaba.com/category/Power-Strips_201155409.html",
      "reason": "access_denied",
      "http_status": 403
    }
  ],
  "unattempted_urls": 0
}
```

USD 0.001 per unique product row ($1 per 1,000), including residential proxy usage. No Actor start charge. Failed pages and skipped products are not charged.
