## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Mexico Jobs Scraper – Computrabajo + OCC Mundial

Search **job offers in Mexico on the two biggest job boards at once** — [Computrabajo México](https://mx.computrabajo.com) and [OCC Mundial](https://www.occ.com.mx) — by keyword and state or city. Get title, company, salary, location, posting date and link in one unified dataset, optionally with the full job description and structured salary from Computrabajo.

No browser, no login, no API key. Pay only for the offers you receive.

### What you get

| Field | Computrabajo | OCC |
|---|---|---|
| `source` | `computrabajo` | `occ` |
| `id`, `title`, `url` | ✔ | ✔ (URL built from the offer id) |
| `company`, `companyUrl` | ✔ | company name only |
| `location` | ✔ | ✔ |
| `salary` | text as shown, e.g. `$ 12,700.00 (Mensual)` | text as shown, e.g. `$ 10,000 - $ 13,000 Mensual` (`null` when hidden) |
| `postedText` | `Hace 2 días` | `Hace 2 días` |
| `tags` | `["Remoto", "Postulación rápida"]` | `["Recomendada", "Postúlate primero"]` |
| `isPremium` | – | ✔ |
| `description`, `datePosted`, `validThrough`, `employmentType`, `industry`, `salaryValue`, `salaryUnit`, `salaryCurrency`, `addressLocality`, `addressRegion` | with **Open each offer** | – |
| `scrapedAt` | ✔ | ✔ |

### How to use it

1. Type a **Job title or keyword** (`electricista`, `contador`, `desarrollador python`). Accents and spaces are normalized for you.
2. Type a **State or city** (`zacatecas`, `monterrey`, `ciudad de mexico`). Either field may be empty, not both.
3. Pick the **Job boards** and the **Maximum job offers**.
4. Optional: tick **Open each Computrabajo offer** to add the description and the schema.org fields.
5. Run and download JSON, CSV or Excel, or schedule it to catch new postings every day.

### Example input

```json
{
  "query": "electricista",
  "location": "zacatecas",
  "sources": ["computrabajo", "occ"],
  "maxItems": 100,
  "fetchDetails": true
}
```

### Example output

```json
{
  "source": "occ",
  "id": "21386727",
  "title": "Auxiliar de ventas",
  "url": "https://www.occ.com.mx/empleo/oferta/21386727-auxiliar-de-ventas/",
  "company": "CSC GT",
  "location": "Guadalupe, Zacatecas",
  "salary": "$ 10,000 - $ 13,000 Mensual",
  "postedText": "Hace 2 días",
  "tags": ["Recomendada", "Postúlate primero"],
  "isPremium": true,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-26T01:40:35+00:00"
}
```

### Use cases

- **Job alerts and aggregators** – schedule the Actor and push new offers to Slack, email or a website.
- **Salary and labor market research** – compare posted salaries by city, role or industry.
- **Recruiting intelligence** – see which companies are hiring for a role and how often.
- **AI agents** – feed structured offers to an assistant that matches candidates or summarizes the market.

### Pricing and performance

Pay-per-event: one charge per job offer saved. Both boards return 20 offers per page; 100 offers from the listing take a few seconds, with descriptions about a minute.

### Limitations

- OCC blocks direct access to its offer pages, so OCC results contain only the fields shown on the listing (no description). The `url` is built from the offer id and opens normally in a browser.
- Salaries are returned as the site displays them; many employers hide them.
- This Actor reads public pages. Respect each site's terms and local law when using the data.

# Actor input Schema

## `query` (type: `string`):

What to search for, e.g. `electricista`, `contador`, `desarrollador python`. Accents and spaces are handled for you. Leave empty to get every job in a location.

## `location` (type: `string`):

Where to search, e.g. `zacatecas`, `monterrey`, `ciudad de mexico`, `guadalajara`. Leave empty to search all of Mexico (then a keyword is required).

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Which sites to scrape.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many offers have been saved (both boards combined).

## `fetchDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Adds `description`, `datePosted`, `validThrough`, `employmentType`, `industry` and structured salary for Computrabajo offers. One extra request per offer. OCC blocks its offer pages, so OCC results always come from the listing only.

## `proxy` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy settings. Datacenter proxies usually work; switch to residential if you start seeing HTTP 403.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "query": "electricista",
  "location": "",
  "sources": [
    "computrabajo",
    "occ"
  ],
  "maxItems": 100,
  "fetchDetails": false,
  "proxy": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):
