## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## French Company Leads & Dirigeants — SIRENE BODACC (MCP)

Turn France's **official business registers** into clean, ready-to-use leads. One Actor, three official open-data modes, no proxies, no API keys.

Part of the *data franchise* series by the same developer: 🇲🇦 Morocco (Avito, Mubawab) • 🇫🇷 France (Paruvendu, Bien'ici, and now official business data).

### Three modes, one Actor

#### 0. `dirigeants` — one lead per executive (B2B prospection)

Search the official company directory by **NAF activity code, department, employee bracket, company size and minimum revenue**, and get **one row per executive**: last name, first names, exact role (Président, Directeur Général, Gérant…), birth year, plus the full company record (SIREN, NAF, head-office address, création date, employee bracket, Annuaire link).

*Only natural persons are returned by default* — parent companies and audit firms sitting on the board are filtered out, as are statutory auditors (`commissaires aux comptes`), so the list is directly usable for prospection. Example: every CEO of a 10-49 employee restaurant in Paris with €500k+ revenue is two clicks away.

#### 1. `bodacc` — daily announcements (fresh leads)

The **BODACC** (Bulletin officiel des annonces civiles et commerciales) publishes every business event in France, **updated every working day**:

| Family | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| **Créations / Immatriculations** | **brand-new businesses** — the classic "new business" lead |
| **Procédures collectives / conciliation** | insolvency filings — credit-risk & B2B monitoring |
| **Ventes et cessions** | business sales, takeovers, previous owner |
| **Modifications diverses** | address / management / statute changes |
| **Dépôts des comptes** | annual-account filings |
| **Radiations** | companies that just closed |

Each record includes: publication date, company / person name, SIREN, activity text, city, postal code, department, region, tribunal, filing dates, judgment details, former owner and the link to the official notice.

#### 2. `sirene` — company directory search

Search the official SIRENE directory (via `recherche-entreprises.api.gouv.fr`) by name, **NAF activity code**, department, employee bracket, company size (TPE/PME/ETI/GE) or status. You get: SIREN, legal name, NAF code, head-office address, GPS coordinates, creation/closure dates, VAT number, employee bracket and the **executives** with their roles.

#### Bonus — enrich BODACC with SIRENE

Enable `enrichWithSirene` and every BODACC announcement is topped up with the company's executives, NAF code, employee bracket, head-office address, establishment count and annual revenue (when published).

### Quick start

Fresh registrations this week in Paris:

```json
{ "mode": "bodacc", "announcementFamilies": ["Créations", "Immatriculations"], "departments": ["75"], "enrichWithSirene": true, "maxResults": 300 }
```

Insolvency watch across France:

```json
{ "mode": "bodacc", "announcementFamilies": ["Procédures collectives"], "maxResults": 1000 }
```

Plumbing companies with 1–5 employees:

```json
{ "mode": "sirene", "nafCodes": ["43.22A"], "employeeRanges": ["01", "02"], "status": "active", "maxResults": 500 }
```

### Who buys this

- 🧾 Accountants, insurers, telecom & SaaS — **new-business lead lists**
- 🏦 Credit, collection and factoring teams — insolvency filings
- 🤝 M\&A, brokers, franchise networks — business sales and takeovers
- 📊 Data teams, analysts and journalists — official, citable business data

### Use from AI agents (MCP)

This Actor is exposed as a tool through **Apify's MCP server** — any MCP client (Claude, Cursor, VS Code / Copilot, Codex, custom agents) can discover and run it without writing code:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "apify": { "url": "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=amygraphics/france-business-leads-scraper" }
  }
}
```

Then just ask: *"Use amygraphics/france-business-leads-scraper to get me this data."* Agents can also pay autonomously — this Actor is **whitelisted for agentic payments** (Direct x402 / Apify AGI prepaid token), so no Apify account is required.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event: one **`record-extracted`** charge per successfully extracted record, plus a tiny **`apify-actor-start`** fee per run. Failed requests are never charged, and the Actor stops cleanly when your spending limit is reached.

### Notes & limits

- BODACC is paginated up to 10 000 records per query — slice by date, department or family for deeper runs.
- SIRENE returns at most 10 000 results per search; narrow by NAF code, department or employee bracket.
- Both sources are official French government open data.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

`bodacc` = official announcements, published daily (fresh leads and insolvency monitoring). `sirene` = company directory records (one row per company, executives nested). `dirigeants` = one lead row per executive, ready for B2B prospection (name, role, birth year + full company data).

## `announcementFamilies` (type: `array`):

BODACC mode only. Leave empty for all families. Créations + Immatriculations = brand-new businesses (sales leads); Procédures collectives = insolvency filings (risk monitoring).

## `dateFrom` (type: `string`):

BODACC mode only. Start date (YYYY-MM-DD). Leave empty for the last 7 days. Each day of announcements is published by the French government.

## `dateTo` (type: `string`):

BODACC mode only. End date (YYYY-MM-DD). Leave empty for today.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

French department codes, e.g. 75, 93, 13, 2A, 2B, 971. Leave empty for all of France.

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

BODACC mode only. Full-text search inside the announcements, e.g. 'plomberie', 'restaurant', a city name or a person's name.

## `enrichWithSirene` (type: `boolean`):

BODACC mode only. Adds executives, employee bracket, NAF code, head-office address and establishment count for each company (one extra API call per record).

## `searchQuery` (type: `string`):

SIRENE and dirigeants modes. Company name, trade name or keywords, e.g. 'plomberie paris' or 'boulangerie'. Leave empty to browse by NAF code and location only (best for building lists).

## `nafCodes` (type: `array`):

SIRENE and dirigeants modes. Activity codes such as 43.22A (plumbing), 56.10A (restaurants), 68.20B (real estate rental).

## `employeeRanges` (type: `array`):

SIRENE and dirigeants modes. Official INSEE brackets: 00 (0 salarié), 01 (1-2), 02 (3-5), 03 (6-9), 11 (10-19), 12 (20-49), 21 (50-99), 22 (100-199), 31 (200-249), 32 (250-499), 41 (500-999), 42 (1000-1999), 51 (2000-4999), 52 (5000-9999), 53 (10000+).

## `companyCategories` (type: `array`):

SIRENE and dirigeants modes. TPE, PME, ETI or GE. Leave empty for all sizes.

## `status` (type: `string`):

SIRENE and dirigeants modes. For dirigeants, 'All' still keeps active companies only — closed ones make poor leads.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of records to extract in this run. In dirigeants mode one row = one executive (a company with 3 executives yields 3 rows). One billable event per extracted record.

## `chargedEventName` (type: `string`):

Pay-per-event name charged for each successfully extracted record.

## `minRevenue` (type: `integer`):

Dirigeants mode only. Only companies whose last known yearly revenue is at least this amount, e.g. 500000. Leave empty for no revenue filter.

## `includeLegalEntities` (type: `boolean`):

Dirigeants mode only. By default only natural persons are returned (real decision-makers). Enable to also get parent companies and audit firms sitting on the board.
