## Pricing

from $2.50 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Shopify Scraper

**Every product in any Shopify store — prices, compare-at prices, stock, variants, images and descriptions — as clean JSON.**

Millions of brands, from Allbirds and Kith to ColourPop and Death Wish Coffee, sell on Shopify.
This Actor reads any Shopify store and returns its products: title, vendor, product type, tags,
creation and update dates, the full description as HTML and plain text, the price range and
compare-at (original) prices in the store's currency, whether the product is in stock, every image,
the product options, and every variant with its SKU, price, stock status, weight and barcode. Paste
a store's home page to get the whole catalog, a collection URL to get one collection, or product
URLs for specific items; there is no login, no API key, and no proxy to configure. Built for
competitor price monitoring, product research, catalog migration, and e-commerce market analysis.

### ⚡ Quick start

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://www.allbirds.com/" }],
  "maxItems": 5
}
```

### 🧩 Input

| Field                | Type    | Required | Default                      | Description                                                                                                                                                      |
| -------------------- | ------- | -------- | ---------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `startUrls`          | array   | yes      | —                            | Shopify storefront URLs: a store's home page (whole catalog), a collection (`…/collections/<name>`), or a product (`…/products/<name>`). Any store domain works. |
| `maxItems` | integer | no | — | Maximum number of products per start URL. The input form starts at 5; leave it empty to get the whole store or collection. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | no | `{ "useApifyProxy": false }` | Proxy settings. Shopify storefronts need no proxy; switch one on only if a busy store starts rate-limiting the run. |

**Is a site on Shopify?** Most Shopify stores show "Powered by Shopify" in the page footer or
load their images from `cdn.shopify.com`. Give the Actor any URL from the store; if the site is not
on Shopify, the run log says so and the run finishes without results.

### 📤 Output

Each product is one dataset row. Prices are in the store's own currency, in whole units (`25` means
25.00).

#### Fields

| Field               | Type    | Description                                                                                                                                                            |

### 💡 Use cases

- **Competitor price monitoring** — track prices, discounts and compare-at prices across the stores you compete with, and catch every sale.
- **Stock tracking** — see which products and sizes sell out, and when they come back.
- **Product research** — find what a brand sells, how it prices it, and what it launches, from creation and publish dates.
- **Catalog migration and feeds** — export a store's full catalog, with variants, SKUs and images, into another platform or a product feed.
- **Market analysis** — compare assortments, vendors and price bands across many stores in a niche.

### ❓ FAQ

- **Do I need an API key or a Shopify account?** No. The Actor reads the same public storefront any shopper sees.
- **Do I need a proxy?** No. It runs without one by default. If a very large store starts slowing the run down, switch on a datacenter proxy.
- **Does it work on every Shopify store?** It works on stores that use Shopify's own storefront, which is the large majority. A few big brands run a fully custom ("headless") storefront on top of Shopify; those do not share their product data, and the run log says so instead of returning partial results.
- **Why is `barcode` empty?** Stores share barcodes only on the individual product record. Scraping product URLs returns them when the store sets them; whole-store and collection runs leave the field empty.
- **Why is `compareAtPriceMin` empty?** The product is not on sale: the store has set no original price for it.
- **Can I scrape many stores at once?** Yes. Add one URL per store or collection to `startUrls`; `maxItems` applies to each one separately.
- **Why did a run return fewer products than expected?** The collection may hold fewer products than its page suggests, or the URL may not be a Shopify store; the log says which. Open an issue if something looks off.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Shopify storefront URLs: a store's home page such as https://www.allbirds.com, a collection (…/collections/<name>), or a single product (…/products/<name>). Any Shopify store works, on its own domain or on myshopify.com.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of products to return per start URL. Leave empty to get the whole store or collection.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy settings. Shopify storefronts need no proxy; switch one on only if a busy store starts rate-limiting the run.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    {
      "url": "https://www.allbirds.com/"
    }
  ],
  "maxItems": 5,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
