## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Scrape Amazon product pages by ASIN or URL on any marketplace (amazon.com, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .es, .it, .ca, .co.jp, .in, .com.au and more). Paste ASINs or product links and the Actor returns one clean row per product: title, brand, current price and list price, discount, availability, rating and number of ratings, bullet points, description, all images, category and breadcrumbs, Best Sellers Rank, variants with their ASINs, seller, Amazon's Choice and Prime flags, coupon, dimensions and weight, plus the full specifications table. Schedule it to track prices, stock and ratings over time: price monitoring, repricing, competitor analysis, catalog enrichment and market research.

No Amazon API key, no browser. You pay $0.002 per product.

### What you get

One Dataset row per product:

- `asin`, `domain`, `url`, `title`, `brand`, `seller`.
- `price`, `currency`, `listPrice`, `discountPercent`, `coupon`.
- `availability`, `inStock`, `isPrime`, `isAmazonChoice`.
- `rating`, `ratingsCount`.
- `bullets`, `description`, `images`, `mainImage`.
- `category`, `breadcrumbs`, `bestSellersRank` (rank and category, main and sub-categories).
- `variants` (ASIN and attributes such as color or size of every variant) and `variantAttributes`.
- `overview` and `specifications` (every row of the product tables), `dateFirstAvailable`, `weight`, `dimensions`.
- `changed`: `true` when price, list price, availability or rating changed since the previous run.

Products that Amazon does not serve (removed listings, or Amazon's rate limit after many requests) return a row with an `error` field and are not charged.

### How to use it

1. Open the **Input** tab.
2. Paste ASINs or product URLs in **ASINs or product URLs**, one per line. Bare ASINs use the **Marketplace** you choose; URLs keep their own marketplace.
3. Click **Start** and export the rows as JSON, CSV or Excel.
4. To monitor prices, schedule the Actor (for example every 6 hours) and connect a webhook to the rows with `changed: true`.

Amazon limits how fast one source can read its pages, so the Actor spaces its requests: count on roughly 1 to 2 products every 5 seconds. For a product list from a keyword, use **Amazon Search Scraper** first.

### Input

```json
{
  "products": ["B0C3HCD34R", "https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07T958JCJ"],
  "domain": "amazon.com"
}
```

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| `products` | ASINs or product URLs. Up to 500 per run. |
| `domain` | Marketplace for bare ASINs (default `amazon.com`). |

### Output example

### Pricing

Pay per event, no subscription:

- **Product scraped**: $0.002 per product. 1,000 products cost $2.
- **Product changed**: $0.002 per product whose price, list price, availability or rating changed since the previous scheduled run.

Products that cannot be read are free.

### Use it as an API

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/aolmo~amazon-product/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"products": ["B0C3HCD34R"], "domain": "amazon.com"}'
```

### FAQ

**Which marketplaces work?** All the main ones: US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, India, Australia, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Egypt, Belgium and Ireland.

**Why is the price empty for some products?** Amazon shows no price when the product has no direct offer ("See all buying options"); the row keeps the availability text.

**Does it return reviews?** It returns the rating and the number of ratings. Full review texts require an Amazon login and are not included.

**Why do some runs end with errors after many products?** Amazon rate-limits every reader. The Actor spaces and retries its requests, but on very large lists some products can come back with an error; run them again later.

**Where is the data stored between runs?** In a Key-Value Store of your account named `micro-saas-state-amazon-product`, one key per product.
