## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Export the reviews of any Android app on Google Play by URL or package name: rating, text, author, date, app version, helpful votes and the developer's reply, in any store country and language, up to 5,000 reviews per app, plus the app name, developer, average rating and ratings count. One row per review, newest first, most helpful first or by rating. Product feedback analysis, competitor monitoring, ASO research and support triage at $0.0002 per review.

The Actor reads Google Play's public review feed; no Google account, API key or device is needed. Schedule it and new reviews are flagged with `isNew`.

### What you get

**Review** (one row each): `id`, `author`, `rating` (1 to 5), `text`, `date`, `version`, `helpfulCount`, `developerReply`, `developerReplyDate`, `url`, `country`.

**App** on every row: `appId` (package), `appName`, `developer`, `appRating`, `appRatingsCount`, `store` (`googleplay`).

**Changes** on scheduled runs: `isNew` is true for reviews that were not in the previous run of the same app.

Apps that do not exist in the chosen country or could not be read return a row with an `error` field and are not charged.

### How to use it

1. Open the **Input** tab.
2. Add **Apps**, one per line (up to 500 per run): `https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spotify.music` or `com.spotify.music`.
3. Choose **Country**, **Language**, **Order** (newest, most relevant or by rating) and **Max reviews per app** (up to 5,000).
4. Click **Start** and export the rows as JSON, CSV or Excel.
5. Schedule the Actor to collect new reviews as they arrive.

- Reviews are the ones Google Play serves for the chosen country and language; run the Actor per language to collect more.
- App Store apps are not accepted here: use the **App Store Reviews Scraper** for iOS.
- The Actor never bypasses logins, CAPTCHAs or rate limits.
