## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

List every job a company has open on LinkedIn, without login, cookies or a browser. Give company names, page URLs or ids and get one row per job with title, location, posting date, salary when LinkedIn shows it, the full description, seniority, employment type, job function, industries, applicant count and the external apply link. Filter by keywords or location, read up to 1,000 jobs per company, and schedule the Actor to be told when a company posts new roles. Competitor hiring intelligence, sales triggers, recruiting research and job boards at $0.0005 per job.

The Actor reads the company id from the public LinkedIn page and then the same public job endpoints LinkedIn serves to visitors who are not logged in, so it is fast, cheap and does not put any account at risk.

### What you get

One Dataset row per job:

- `title`, `url`, `id`, `company`, `companyUrl`, `companyLogo`, `location`, `postedAt` (`YYYY-MM-DD`), `postedText`, `salary` and `benefits` when shown.
- With **Include full description** (default on): `description` as plain text, `seniority`, `employmentType`, `jobFunction`, `industries`, `applicants` and `applyUrl`.
- `source` (the LinkedIn jobs search of the company), `companyName`, `companyId` and `isNew` (true for jobs that were not in the previous run for the same company).

Companies that do not exist, need login or have no open jobs return a row with an `error` field or nothing, and are not charged.

### How to use it

1. Open the **Input** tab.
2. Add **Companies**, one per line (up to 500 per run): `stripe`, `https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe`, a jobs search URL with `f_C=<id>` or the numeric company id.
3. Optionally set **Keywords** and **Location**, and **Max jobs per company**.
4. Keep **Include full description** on for the description, criteria and apply link, or turn it off for a faster run with the list data only.
5. Click **Start** and export the rows as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Input

```json
{
  "companies": ["stripe", "https://www.linkedin.com/company/openai"],
  "keywords": "engineer",
  "location": "United States",
  "maxJobs": 100,
  "includeDescription": true
}
```

### Output

```json
{
  "source": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/search/?f_C=2135371&keywords=engineer&location=United+States",
  "companyName": "Stripe",
  "companyId": "2135371",
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.0005 per job** and **$0.002 per new job** detected on a scheduled run. Companies that cannot be read are free. All 786 open roles of Stripe cost $0.39.

### Limits and notes

- LinkedIn serves visitors up to 1,000 jobs per company; use **Keywords** or **Location** to narrow larger employers.
- Some postings hide the salary; `salary` is null then.
- The Actor never bypasses logins, CAPTCHAs or rate limits.

### Related Actors

- **LinkedIn Jobs Scraper**: jobs by keyword and location across companies.
- **LinkedIn Job Details Scraper**: one posting by URL or id.
- **LinkedIn Company Scraper** and **LinkedIn Company Leads Scraper**: details and website contacts of the company.
- **Company Jobs Scraper (ATS)**: open positions on Greenhouse, Lever, Workable and other career sites.
