## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Build B2B lead lists from LinkedIn company pages: each company comes back with its public LinkedIn details (industry, size, headquarters, followers, specialties, founded, type, website, locations, people preview) plus the emails, phones and social profiles found on its website. Give company names or page URLs and get one row per company, without cookies, login or a browser. Prospecting, account research, CRM enrichment and partner scouting at $0.005 per company.

The Actor reads what LinkedIn shows to a logged-out visitor of the company page, takes the website from it and crawls that site (home first, then contact, about and legal pages) for `mailto:` links, emails and phones in the text and social icons. No account means no risk for your LinkedIn profile.

### What you get

**Company** (from LinkedIn): `name`, `tagline`, `description`, `industry`, `companySize`, `employeesOnLinkedin`, `headquarters`, `address`, `website`, `founded`, `companyType`, `specialties`, `followers`, `logo`, `coverImage`, `locations`, `employeesPreview`, `similarPages`, `affiliatedPages`, `recentPosts`, `companyUrl`, `slug`.

**Contacts** (from the website): `emails`, `email` (the first one), `sitePhones`, `socials` (facebook, instagram, linkedin, twitter, youtube, tiktok, whatsapp...), `websiteStatus` (`found`, `none`, `no-website`, `social-only`, `skipped` or `error`), `pagesCrawled`, `siteError`.

**Changes** on scheduled runs: `newEmails` lists the emails that were not there in the previous run; name, tagline, website, industry, size and headquarters changes are reported too.

Companies that do not exist or need login return a row with an `error` field and are not charged.

### How to use it

1. Open the **Input** tab.
2. Add **Companies**, one per line (up to 500 per run): `stripe`, `https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe` or a `/showcase/` or `/school/` page.
3. Set **Pages per website** (3 finds most emails) and keep **Validate email domains** on to drop addresses whose domain cannot receive mail.
4. Click **Start** and export the rows as JSON, CSV or Excel.
5. Schedule the Actor to be told when a company publishes a new email or changes its details.

### Input

```json
{
  "companies": ["stripe", "openai"],
  "maxPagesPerSite": 3,
  "validateEmails": true
}
```

### Output

```json
{
  "name": "Stripe",
  "tagline": "Financial infrastructure for the internet",
  "industry": "Software Development",
  "companySize": "5,001-10,000 employees",
  "employeesOnLinkedin": 11690,
  "headquarters": "South San Francisco, California",
  "website": "https://stripe.com",
  "founded": 2010,
  "followers": 1100000,
  "specialties": ["Payments", "Billing", "Fraud prevention"],
  "emails": ["press@stripe.com"],
  "email": "press@stripe.com",
  "sitePhones": [],
  "socials": { "twitter": "https://twitter.com/stripe", "youtube": "https://www.youtube.com/stripe" },
  "websiteStatus": "found",
  "pagesCrawled": 3,
  "companyUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe",
  "newEmails": null,
  "timestamp": "2026-10-21T10:00:00.000Z"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.005 per company** and **$0.002 per company with a new email or changed details** on a scheduled run. Pages that cannot be read are free. A list of 200 companies costs $1.00.

### Limits and notes

- LinkedIn shows visitors the company card, the About block, locations, a few employees and the recent posts; employee lists and contact persons need login and are not read.
- Websites hosted on marketplaces, booking platforms or link-in-bio services are not crawled (`websiteStatus: skipped`); a social profile as website returns it in `socials` (`social-only`).
- The Actor never bypasses logins, CAPTCHAs or rate limits.

### Related Actors

- **Website Contact Extractor**: emails, phones and socials of any website.
- **Google Maps Email & Leads Extractor**: businesses from Google Maps with the contacts of their websites.
- **Instagram Email & Contact Scraper**: Instagram profiles with their bio and website contacts.
