## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Get the full details of any public LinkedIn job posting from its URL or id, without login, cookies or a browser. Paste job URLs (or the numeric ids) and get one row per job with title, company, location, posting date, applicant count, salary when LinkedIn shows it, the full description as plain text, seniority, employment type, job function, industries, the external apply link and whether the job is still accepting applications. Job enrichment for ATS and CRM tools, recruiting research, salary studies and monitoring of specific postings at $0.001 per job.

The Actor reads the same public job page LinkedIn serves to visitors who are not logged in, so it is fast, cheap and puts no account at risk. Schedule it and closed or changed jobs are flagged.

### What you get

**Job** (one row each): `id`, `url`, `title`, `company`, `companyUrl`, `companyLogo`, `location`, `postedAt` (approximate ISO date), `postedText` (`6 days ago`), `salary`, `benefits`, `description`, `seniority`, `employmentType`, `jobFunction`, `industries`, `applicants`, `applyUrl` (the company's own application page when the job applies outside LinkedIn) and `closed` (true when the posting no longer accepts applications).

**Changes** on scheduled runs: `changedFields` lists what changed since the previous run (`closed`, `applicants`, `title`, `company`, `location`, `salary`, `seniority`, `employmentType`); it is empty on the first run.

Jobs that do not exist, were removed or need login return a row with an `error` field and are not charged.

### How to use it

1. Open the **Input** tab.
2. Add **Job URLs or ids**, one per line (up to 1,000 per run): `https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4478456660/`, `https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/data-engineer-at-huspy-4478456660`, a search URL with `currentJobId=` or just `4478456660`.
3. Click **Start** and export the rows as JSON, CSV or Excel.
4. Schedule the Actor to be told when a posting closes or changes.

### Input

```json
{
  "jobUrls": ["https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4478456660/", "4471341738"]
}
```

```
### Pricing
Pay per event: **$0.001 per job** and **$0.0005 per job that closed or changed** on a scheduled run. Jobs that cannot be read are free. 1,000 job postings cost $1.00.
### Limits and notes
- LinkedIn shows visitors the posting date as relative text ("6 days ago"); `postedAt` is computed from it and is approximate.
- Salary and benefits appear only when the posting shows them publicly.
- Postings removed by LinkedIn return an error row; closed postings are still served and return `closed: true`.
- The Actor never bypasses logins, CAPTCHAs or rate limits.
