## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Get the public data of any Snapchat profile without logging in. Give usernames or profile URLs and the Actor returns the display name, subscriber count, bio, website, verification badge, profile and hero images, snapcode, the snaps of the public story, the saved highlights and the Spotlight videos with views, shares, comments, boosts, duration, date and links. Schedule it and subscriber changes since the previous run are reported with their difference. Influencer discovery and vetting, creator analytics, campaign reporting, competitor tracking and social listening at $0.003 per profile.

### What you get

**Profile** (one row each): `username`, `url`, `isPublicProfile`, `displayName`, `subscribers`, `bio`, `website`, `address`, `category`, `profilePictureUrl`, `heroImageUrl`, `snapcodeUrl`, `badge`, `isVerified`, `hasStory`, `storySnapsCount`, `storyUpdatedAt`, `highlightsCount`, `highlights` (title, snaps, thumbnail and date of each), `spotlightCount`, `spotlightViews`, `spotlightVideos`, `lensesCount`, `relatedAccounts`, `createdAt`.

**Spotlight video** (in `spotlightVideos`): `id`, `url`, `description`, `views`, `shares`, `comments`, `boosts`, `uploadedAt`, `durationMs`, `thumbnailUrl`, `videoUrl`, `hashtags`.

**Changes** on scheduled runs: `subscribersChange` and `spotlightCountChange` since the previous run (null on the first run).

Regular users without a public profile return `isPublicProfile` false with the username and snapcode only. Usernames that do not exist return a row with an `error` field and are not charged.

### How to use it

1. Open the **Input** tab.
2. Add **Usernames or profile URLs**, one per line (up to 1,000 per run): `kyliejenner`, `@nba` or `https://www.snapchat.com/add/kimkardashian`.
3. Leave **Include Spotlight videos** on to get the videos with their stats, or turn it off for lighter rows.
4. Click **Start** and export the rows as JSON, CSV or Excel.
5. Schedule the Actor daily to follow subscriber growth.

### Pricing

### Limits and notes

- Only data Snapchat shows on the public web profile is available: no friends lists, private stories, messages or Spotlight comments text.
- Snapchat lists about 16 Spotlight videos and 18 highlights per profile page; older content is not paginated.
- `subscribers` is the count Snapchat publishes for public profiles (creators, brands, publishers); regular users have no count.
- Story snap media links expire after some hours.

### Related Actors

- **TikTok Profile** and **Instagram Profile**: the same creators on other networks.
- **Instagram Influencers**: creators of a niche.
- **YouTube Channel Stats**: subscribers and views on YouTube.
