## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Scrape the comments of any TikTok video without logging in. Paste video URLs and the Actor returns one row per comment: text, likes, number of replies, date, language, author (username, nickname, id), whether the creator pinned it or liked it, and the first reply TikTok shows under it. Paginated up to 2,000 comments per video, plus the total number of comments. Schedule it to collect every new comment: brand monitoring, influencer campaign reporting, sentiment analysis, audience research and UGC discovery.

No TikTok account, no API keys, no browser. You pay $0.0008 per comment.

### What you get

One Dataset row per comment:

- `id`, `text`, `likes`, `repliesCount`, `createdAt`, `language`.
- `username`, `nickname`, `userId`.
- `isPinned` (pinned by the creator), `likedByCreator`, `isCreator`.
- `firstReply`: id, text, likes, username and date of the first reply shown by TikTok.
- `videoId`, `videoUrl`, `totalComments` (as reported by TikTok).
- `isNew`: `true` for comments posted since the previous run of the same video.

Videos that are private, removed or have comments disabled return a row with an `error` field and are not charged.

### How to use it

1. Open the **Input** tab.
2. Paste video URLs in **Video URLs**, one per line: `https://www.tiktok.com/@user/video/1234567890`.
3. Set **Max comments per video** (default 100, up to 2,000) and click **Start**.
4. Export the rows as JSON, CSV or Excel.
5. To monitor a campaign, schedule the Actor (for example hourly). New comments come with `isNew: true`; connect a webhook to get them in your app.

Need video URLs? Use **TikTok Profile & Video Stats Scraper** for the stats of profiles and videos, or paste the links from TikTok.

### FAQ

**Does it return all the replies of a comment?** It returns the number of replies and the first reply TikTok shows. Full reply threads are not available without login.

**In which order do comments come?** The order TikTok uses on the web: most relevant first, then newer ones as you paginate.

**Where is the data stored between runs?** In a Key-Value Store of your account named `micro-saas-state-tiktok-comments`, one key per video.
