## Pricing

from $0.80 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Scraper: Himalayas, RemoteOK, WWR & Jobicy API

Scrape **remote jobs from 5 remote job boards in one run**: **Himalayas**, **Remote OK**, **We Work Remotely**, **Jobicy** and **Working Nomads**. Filter by keyword, region, salary and posted date, and get one clean, deduplicated list (newest first) with salary, tags, location restrictions, full description and apply URL.

### How to use

1. Enter **keywords** (e.g. `python`, `product manager`, `customer support`), or leave empty for all remote jobs.
2. Optionally choose the **job boards**, a **region** (`USA`, `Europe`, `Canada`, `LATAM`...), **minimum salary** and **posted within**.
3. Click **Start** and export JSON, CSV or Excel, or send results to Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable, Zapier, Make or n8n.

### Why this Actor

| | This Actor | Typical remote-job scrapers |
|---|---|---|
| Boards per run | **5** (Himalayas, Remote OK, WWR, Jobicy, Working Nomads) | Usually 1 |
| Cross-board duplicate removal | **Yes** (same company + title) | No |
| Salary range, currency and period in separate fields | **Yes** (when the board lists it) | Varies |
| Region, salary, posted-within and exclude filters | **Yes** | Varies |
| Price | **$1 / 1,000 jobs** + $0.005 per run | $1-$13.50 / 1,000 |

### Input example

```json
{
  "queries": ["data engineer", "analytics engineer"],
  "excludeKeywords": ["intern"],
  "locations": ["USA", "Americas"],
  "includeWorldwide": true,
  "postedWithinDays": "7",
  "minSalaryUsd": 100000,
  "maxItems": 300
}
```

### Output (one item per job)

```json
{
  "jobId": "jobicy:156681",
  "source": "jobicy", "sourceName": "Jobicy",
  "title": "Solutions Engineer - Critical Infrastructure",
  "companyName": "Echodyne",
  "companyLogo": "https://jobicy.com/data/.../271d5f4a-221.png",
  "location": "USA", "isWorldwide": false,
  "categories": ["Sales"], "tags": [],
  "employmentType": "Full-Time", "seniority": "Senior",
  "salaryMin": 100000, "salaryMax": 120000, "salaryCurrency": "USD", "salaryPeriod": "yearly",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-23T18:57:36.000Z",
  "url": "https://jobicy.com/jobs/156681-solutions-engineer-critical-infrastructure",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobicy.com/jobs/156681-solutions-engineer-critical-infrastructure",
  "descriptionText": "Radar Reinvented. Echodyne offers ...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-24T05:40:00.000Z"
}
```

### How much does it cost?

Pay per event: **$0.005 per run + $0.001 per job** ($1 per 1,000). No compute charges.

| You get | You pay (Starter/Bronze plan) |
|---|---|
| 100 jobs | $0.105 |
| 1,000 jobs | $1.005 |
| 5,000 jobs | $5.005 |

Apify's **free plan includes $5 of usage every month**, and free-plan users pay **half price**, so a daily run of 100 jobs costs about $1.60 a month. Paid plans get volume discounts (Silver -10%, Gold and above -20%).

### Use cases

- **Remote job boards and newsletters**: a daily, deduplicated feed by category and region (schedule with *Posted within: Last 24 hours*).
- **Recruiters and talent sourcers**: companies hiring remotely for the roles you place.
- **Job seekers and career coaches**: alerts for roles above a salary threshold, sent to Slack or email.
- **Market research**: remote demand by role, seniority, region and salary.
- **AI agents**: call it through the Apify MCP server to answer "find remote X jobs paying over $Y".

### Run it from code (API, Python, JavaScript)

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/api-co~remote-jobs-aggregator/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"queries": ["python"], "postedWithinDays": "7", "maxItems": 100}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("api-co/remote-jobs-aggregator").call(run_input={"queries": ["python"], "postedWithinDays": "7", "maxItems": 100})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item["title"], item["companyName"], item["url"])
```

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('api-co/remote-jobs-aggregator').call({ queries: ['python'], postedWithinDays: '7', maxItems: 100 });
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
```

### FAQ

**Where does the data come from?**
Only from each board's official public API or RSS feed: Himalayas Jobs API, Remote OK API, Jobicy API, We Work Remotely RSS and Working Nomads' public jobs feed. No logins, no proxies.

**Do I have to credit the boards?**
Yes, if you republish the jobs. Remote OK and Jobicy ask that you mention them as the source and link back to the job URL, and keep apply buttons pointing to the original job. Every result includes `sourceName` and the original `url` so you can do that.

**How many jobs can I get?**
Himalayas is searched by keyword (20 jobs per page, *Max pages per board* pages per keyword). The other boards publish their latest jobs (from about 40 to a few hundred each), which are filtered locally. Raise *Max pages per board* to dig deeper into Himalayas and Jobicy.

**How does deduplication work?**
The same job is often posted on several boards. With *Remove cross-board duplicates* on, only the newest copy of each company + title pair is kept.

**Why is salary sometimes empty?**
Not every posting lists pay. Turn on *Only jobs with salary* to keep only jobs that do.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title, company, tags or category contain at least one keyword, e.g. 'python', 'product manager', 'customer support'. Leave empty for all remote jobs.

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Which remote job boards to search. Default: all five.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. 'senior', 'intern'.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs open to one of these places, matched against the job's location restriction, e.g. 'USA', 'Europe', 'Canada', 'LATAM'. Leave empty for any location.

## `includeWorldwide` (type: `boolean`):

When a location filter is set, also keep jobs open worldwide.

## `searchDescriptions` (type: `boolean`):

Also match keywords inside the job description (more results, less precise).

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `string`):

Only jobs published in this period. Use 'Last 24 hours' with a daily schedule for a new-jobs feed.

## `minSalaryUsd` (type: `integer`):

Drop jobs whose listed yearly USD salary is below this. Only yearly USD salaries can be compared, so jobs with no salary, a non-USD salary or an hourly/monthly salary are kept unless 'Only jobs with salary' is on.

## `onlyWithSalary` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs that list a salary.

## `dedupeAcrossBoards` (type: `boolean`):

The same job is often posted on several boards. Keep only the newest copy (same company + title).

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the job description as clean plain text.

## `includeHtml` (type: `boolean`):

Also add the original description HTML.

## `maxPagesPerSource` (type: `integer`):

Paged boards (Himalayas: 20 jobs per page per keyword; Jobicy: 100 per page). Raise it to dig deeper.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs (newest first). You are only charged per job returned.
