## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workable Jobs Search Scraper: All Workable Jobs by Keyword

Search **every job posted on Workable** by keyword and location, the same way the public Workable job search at jobs.workable.com works. You **don't need a list of companies or careers-page URLs**: one query such as `data engineer` + `United States` returns matching jobs from thousands of companies that hire with Workable.

### How to use

1. Enter one or more **search queries** (e.g. `data engineer`, `nurse`, `sales manager`) and optionally **locations** (city, region or country).
2. Optionally filter by **remote / hybrid / on-site**, **posted within** (last 24 hours to 30 days), **employment type** and title keywords.
3. Click **Start** and export the jobs as JSON, CSV or Excel, or send them to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make or n8n.

### Why this Actor

| | This Actor | Typical Workable scrapers |
|---|---|---|
| Needs company slugs / careers URLs | **No**: searches all of Workable | Yes, one company at a time |
| Keyword + location search | **Yes** | Rarely |
| Remote / hybrid / on-site, posted-within, employment type filters | **Yes** | Varies |
| Description, requirements and benefits as clean text | **Yes** | Often HTML only |
| Price | **$1.50 / 1,000 jobs** | up to $8 / 1,000 |

### Input example

```json
{
  "queries": ["data engineer", "machine learning engineer"],
  "locations": ["United States", "Canada"],
  "workplace": "remote",
  "postedWithinDays": "7",
  "employmentType": "full_time",
  "excludeTitleKeywords": ["intern"],
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

Every query is combined with every location, and duplicate jobs are removed.

### Output (one item per job)

```json
{
  "jobId": "9028b661-b6f2-4d99-912b-06b93e3d75ba",
  "title": "Dental Nurse",
  "companyName": "Dentopedia Group",
  "companyWebsite": "https://www.dentopediagroup.com/",
  "companyLogo": "https://workablehr.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/account/logo/721199/logo",
  "department": null,
  "city": "Hemel Hempstead", "region": "England", "country": "United Kingdom",
  "locations": ["Hemel Hempstead, England, United Kingdom"],
  "workplace": "on_site", "isRemote": false, "employmentType": "Full-time", "language": "en",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-21T12:29:29.888Z", "updatedAt": "2026-10-21T12:29:29.888Z",
  "url": "https://jobs.workable.com/view/iNtPhF8PLaRVBpDew1Arkq/dental-nurse-in-hemel-hempstead-at-dentopedia-group",
  "searchQuery": "nurse", "searchLocation": "United Kingdom",
  "descriptionText": "Dental Nurse\nJob Title: Dental Nurse\nSalary: £14 - £16 per hour ...",
  "requirementsText": "• GDC registered Dental Nurse with valid registration ...",
  "benefitsText": "• Three fully paid staff events each year ...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-23T19:44:07.805Z"
}
```

Turn on *Include description HTML* to also get the original HTML.

### Pricing (pay per event)

**$0.0015 per job** ($1.50 per 1,000). Failed searches are free error records.

### How much does it cost?

You only pay for results, never for compute time:

| You get | You pay (Starter/Bronze plan price) |
|---|---|
| 100 jobs | $0.15 |
| 1,000 jobs | $1.50 |
| 10,000 jobs | $15.00 |

Apify's **free plan includes $5 of usage every month**, and free-plan users pay **half price** on this Actor, so that covers about **6,666 jobs** at no cost. Paid plans get volume discounts (Silver -10%, Gold -20%). Set a *maximum cost per run* and the Actor stops cleanly at your limit.

### Use cases

- **Job boards and aggregators**: a fresh feed of Workable jobs by category and country. Schedule it daily with *Posted within: last 24 hours*.
- **Recruiting and sourcing agencies**: find companies hiring for the roles you place.
- **Sales and hiring signals**: companies that are hiring sales, engineering or finance staff, with their websites for enrichment.
- **Labor-market research**: demand by role, country, workplace type and employment type.
- **AI agents**: call it through the Apify MCP server to answer "who is hiring X in Y?".

### Run it from code (API, Python, JavaScript)

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/api-co~workable-jobs-search/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"queries": ["data engineer"], "locations": ["United States"], "maxItems": 100}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("api-co/workable-jobs-search").call(run_input={"queries": ["data engineer"], "locations": ["United States"], "maxItems": 100})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item)
```

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('api-co/workable-jobs-search').call({ queries: ['data engineer'], locations: ['United States'], maxItems: 100 });
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
```

It also works with Zapier, Make, n8n, Google Sheets and webhooks, and can be scheduled in the Apify Console.

### FAQ

**Do I need to know which companies use Workable?**
No. That's the point of this Actor: it searches all public Workable job postings at once. If you already have a list of careers pages on several ATSs (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee), use our [ATS Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/api-co/ats-jobs-scraper).

**How fresh is the data?**
It's live: every run queries Workable's public job search, so new postings appear as soon as Workable lists them.

**Can I get only new jobs every day?**
Yes. Set *Posted within* to *Last 24 hours* and schedule a daily run.

**Does it return salary?**
When the employer writes the salary in the posting, it is in `descriptionText`. Workable's search doesn't expose a separate salary field.

**Is it legal?**
It reads publicly published job postings from Workable's public job search. Job postings are business data. Please respect Workable's terms and use the data responsibly.

### Notes

- Each search returns pages of 20 jobs. *Max pages per search* (default 50) is a safety limit per query/location pair.
- Requests are rate-limited to 4 per second.
