## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Workday Jobs Scraper: Search 600+ Workday Career Sites

Scrape open jobs from **any Workday careers site** (`*.myworkdayjobs.com`, `myworkdaysite.com`), or **search 600+ big employers at once** by keyword with the built-in directory of verified Workday career sites: RTX, PwC, Capital One, Salesforce, Cisco, NVIDIA, Intel, Adobe, Disney, Johnson & Johnson, GSK, Novartis, Mastercard, Visa, AT\&T, Verizon, CVS Health and hundreds more (about 260,000 open jobs on the day the directory was built).

### How to use

1. Pick companies by name from the **directory** (e.g. `NVIDIA`, `Capital One`), paste any **Workday careers URL**, or turn on **Search all 600+ directory companies**.
2. Add **search queries** (e.g. `software engineer`, `nurse`, `data analyst`) or leave them empty for all open jobs.
3. Optionally filter by **location**, **posted within** (today/yesterday up to 30 days) and **remote only**.
4. Click **Start** and export JSON, CSV or Excel, or send the jobs to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make or n8n.

### Why this Actor

| | This Actor | Typical Workday scrapers |
|---|---|---|
| Search many companies at once by keyword | **Yes**: 600+ verified Workday sites built in | One URL at a time |
| Works with any Workday URL (also a single job link) | **Yes** | Usually |
| Full description as clean text, additional locations, remote type, time type, start date, hiring entity | **Yes** | Varies |
| Real posted date from "Posted N Days Ago" + daily new-jobs filter | **Yes** | Rarely |
| Price | **$1.50 / 1,000 jobs** + $0.005 per run | $0.9-$2 / 1,000 + start fees |

### Input example

```json
{
  "companies": ["Capital One", "Salesforce"],
  "careerSiteUrls": ["https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"],
  "searchQueries": ["data engineer", "machine learning"],
  "locationKeywords": ["United States", "Remote"],
  "postedWithinDays": "7",
  "maxJobsPerSite": 100,
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

Search every directory company for one role:

```json
{ "companies": [], "searchAllCompanies": true, "searchQueries": ["product manager"], "postedWithinDays": "1", "maxJobsPerSite": 20, "maxItems": 1000 }
```

### Output (one item per job)

```json
{
  "jobId": "JR2017236",
  "title": "SONiC Software Engineer - Python",
  "companyName": "NVIDIA",
  "hiringEntity": "IL00 Mellanox Technologies, Ltd.",
  "location": "Israel, Raanana",
  "additionalLocations": [],
  "country": "Israel", "countryCode": "IL",
  "remoteType": null, "isRemote": null,
  "timeType": "Full time",
  "postedOn": "Posted 17 Days Ago", "postedDaysAgo": 17, "postedDate": "2026-10-06",
  "startDate": "2026-10-06",
  "url": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/Israel-Raanana/SONiC-Software-Engineer---Python_JR2017236",
  "applyUrl": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/Israel-Raanana/SONiC-Software-Engineer---Python_JR2017236/apply",
  "workdayTenant": "nvidia",
  "careerSiteUrl": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite",
  "searchQuery": "python",
  "descriptionText": "NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics ... What you'll be doing: ...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-23T23:50:00.000Z"
}
```

Turn off *Include full job details* for a fast title/location list (no description), or turn on *Include description HTML* for the original HTML.

### How much does it cost?

Pay per event: **$0.005 per run + $0.0015 per job** ($1.50 per 1,000). Failed sites are free error records. No compute charges.

| You get | You pay (Starter/Bronze plan) |
|---|---|
| 100 jobs | $0.155 |
| 1,000 jobs | $1.505 |
| 10,000 jobs | $15.005 |

Apify's **free plan includes $5 of usage every month**, and free-plan users pay **half price**, so that covers about **6,500 jobs**. Paid plans get volume discounts (Silver -10%, Gold and above -20%). Set a *maximum cost per run* and the Actor stops cleanly at your limit.

### Use cases

- **Recruiting and staffing agencies**: daily feed of new roles at enterprise employers (Workday is used by most of the Fortune 500).
- **Job boards and aggregators**: fresh, deduplicated jobs straight from the employer's own ATS.
- **Sales intelligence**: hiring signals (which companies hire SDRs, data engineers, nurses this week) for outbound.
- **Labor-market and competitor research**: open roles by company, country, function and remote type.
- **AI agents**: call it through the Apify MCP server to answer "which big companies are hiring X in Y?".

### Run it from code (API, Python, JavaScript)

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/api-co~workday-jobs-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"companies": ["NVIDIA"], "searchQueries": ["software engineer"], "maxItems": 100}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("api-co/workday-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={"companies": ["NVIDIA"], "searchQueries": ["software engineer"], "maxItems": 100})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item["title"], item["location"], item["url"])
```

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('api-co/workday-jobs-scraper').call({ companies: ['NVIDIA'], searchQueries: ['software engineer'], maxItems: 100 });
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
```

Schedule it daily with *Posted within: Today or yesterday* in the Apify Console for a new-jobs feed.

### FAQ

**Why did one company return a `WORKDAY_MAINTENANCE` error?**
Workday takes its data centers (wd1, wd3, wd5, wd12...) offline for scheduled maintenance for a few hours, mostly on weekends. Sites hosted there answer with a maintenance page; the Actor reports it per site and keeps scraping the other companies. Rerun later or schedule the run on a weekday. You are only charged for jobs actually returned.

**Which companies are in the directory?**
602 Workday career sites, found in the Common Crawl web index and each verified live through its public jobs API on 2026-10-23. Type a partial name (e.g. `bank`, `health`, `johnson`) to match several. If a company is missing, paste its Workday careers URL; any `myworkdayjobs.com` link works.

**How do I find a company's Workday URL?**
Open the company's careers page and click a job. If the address contains `myworkdayjobs.com` or `myworkdaysite.com`, paste that link.

**Why do some sites show at most 2,000 jobs?**
Workday's own search returns at most about 2,000 results per query. Use search queries or location keywords to narrow very large employers.

**How fresh is the data?**
Live. Every run reads the career site's public jobs API, the same one the Workday page uses.

**Does it return salary?**
When the employer writes the pay range in the posting, it is in `descriptionText` (common for US states with pay-transparency laws). Workday has no separate public salary field.

**Is it legal?**
It reads publicly published job postings from employers' public career sites, at a polite rate, without logging in. Job postings are business data. Use the data responsibly and follow applicable laws.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Company names from the built-in directory of 600+ verified Workday career sites, e.g. 'NVIDIA', 'Salesforce', 'Capital One', 'Johnson & Johnson'. Partial names work ('johnson' matches all Johnson companies). Not listed? Paste its careers URL below. Leave empty when you paste career site URLs. If both are empty the run uses NVIDIA and Salesforce as an example.

## `careerSiteUrls` (type: `array`):

Any Workday careers link, e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite or https://wd3.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/tenant/site. A link to one job also works (its whole site is searched).

## `searchAllCompanies` (type: `boolean`):

Run your search queries across every company in the built-in directory (RTX, PwC, Capital One, Salesforce, Cisco, NVIDIA, Intel, Adobe, Disney, GSK, Novartis and many more). Combine with a search query and Max jobs.

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Keywords searched on each career site, like the search box on the Workday page, e.g. 'software engineer', 'nurse', 'data analyst'. Leave empty to get all open jobs.

## `locationKeywords` (type: `array`):

Optional. Keep only jobs whose location (including additional locations and country) contains one of these words, e.g. 'California', 'London', 'United States'.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `string`):

Only jobs posted in this period (from Workday's 'Posted N Days Ago'). Use 'Today or yesterday' for a daily new-jobs feed.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked remote by Workday, or whose title/location says remote.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Open each job to add the full description (plain text), additional locations, remote type, time type, start date, hiring entity and apply URL. Turn off for a faster title-only list.

## `includeHtml` (type: `boolean`):

Also add the original description HTML.

## `maxJobsPerSite` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs from one company.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs in total. You are only charged per job returned.
