## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ABOUT YOU Search Scraper

Search the ABOUT YOU fashion store by keyword and get clean product data: image, title, brand, price, currency and sold-out / new flags. Add optional filters for brand, category and price range, and choose how results are sorted.

### What you can do

- Search any keyword, for example `nike air max`, or paste an ABOUT YOU search link from aboutyou.com or aboutyou.de.
- Narrow results to one brand or category by ID or by link (aboutyou.com and aboutyou.de links both work).
- Filter by minimum and maximum price in EUR.
- Sort by relevance, newest, or price.
- Pagination is automatic. Set the maximum number of products and the actor collects pages until it reaches it.

### Input

```json
{
    "query": "nike air max",
    "maxResults": 40,
    "brand": "https://www.aboutyou.com/b/shop/hugo-3083",
    "category": "https://www.aboutyou.com/c/women/clothing/pants-20257",
    "minPrice": 20,
    "maxPrice": 120,
    "sortBy": "price-low-high"
}
```

Only `query` is needed. `brand`, `category`, `minPrice`, `maxPrice` and `sortBy` are optional.

### Output

Each product is one row. The product image is the first column.

```json
{
    "image": "https://cdn.aboutstatic.com/file/a8734ef6f1bd38df7ac0839ca0d6964b.jpg",
    "id": 32490443,
    "title": "Sneaker 'AIR LIQUID MAX'",
    "brand": "Nike Sportswear",
    "price": 219,
    "maxPrice": 219,
    "currency": "EUR",
    "isSoldOut": false,
    "isNew": true,
    "scrapedAt": "2026-10-14T22:19:58.705Z"
}
```

Each row also contains a `details` object with the other public product fields (attributes, images, price range, dates).

Prices are in euros from the German ABOUT YOU store. `price` is the lowest price across variants and `maxPrice` the highest.

### Good to know

- A wrong search link, brand or category ends the run as Succeeded with a message that includes a working example.
- A search with no matches ends as Succeeded with an empty dataset and a hint.
- If the store is temporarily unavailable, products already collected are kept and the run still ends as Succeeded with a partial-results message.
- The run summary is saved under the `SUMMARY` key in the key-value store.
