## Pricing

$1.20 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Catawiki Lot Search Scraper

Search Catawiki, Europe's curated auction site, and export live lots with the current highest bid, reserve price status, auction end time and photos.

### What you get

One row per auction lot with the live bid next to the lot details.

### Input

- **Search term** - What to look for, for example a watch brand, coin or artist.
- **Currency** - EUR, USD or GBP for the current bid.
- **Maximum results** - How many lots to collect.

Example input:

```json
{
  "query": "rolex",
  "currency": "EUR",
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

### Output

Each result is one row in the dataset. You can download it as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read it through the Apify API.

- `image` - Lot photo (first column)
- `lotId, title, subtitle, url` - The lot
- `currentBid, currency` - Highest bid right now
- `reservePriceSet, reservePriceMet` - Reserve price status
- `biddingStart, biddingEnd, closed` - Auction timing
- `favoriteCount, buyNowAvailable, freeShipping` - Interest and options

Example result:

```json
{
  "lotId": 107400541,
  "title": "800 Silver - Pendant - 800 Studentika Watch Fob",
  "currentBid": 7,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "reservePriceSet": false,
  "biddingEnd": "2026-10-16T19:47:35.000Z",
  "favoriteCount": 20,
  "url": "https://www.catawiki.com/en/l/107400541-..."
}
```

### Good to know

- Runs are fast and need no cookies, logins or proxies from you.
- A search with no matches, or an input that is not valid, does not fail the run. It finishes as Succeeded with a short message and an example input.
- You pay per result row. Set **Maximum results** to control cost.
- Bids change until the auction ends. The value is the bid at the time of the run.

# Actor input Schema

## `query` (type: `string`):

What to search for in Catawiki auctions, for example "rolex", "banknote" or "vinyl".

## `currency` (type: `string`):

Currency for the current bid amount.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many results. Lower numbers finish faster and cost less.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "query": "rolex",
  "currency": "EUR",
  "maxItems": 50
}
```
