## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 app details

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Play App Details Scraper: ratings, installs, developer and price data

Get Android app listing data from Google Play without a login or cookies. Pass package names or Play Store URLs and receive one clean record per app: title, developer, category, installs, rating, price, description, images and contact details where the store shows them. Export results as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or pull them through the Apify API.

### What you can do with it

- Track competitor apps: rating, ratings count, install band and last update
- Build app-intelligence and market-research datasets
- Monitor price changes and store-listing edits over time
- Collect developer websites and contact emails for outreach where published
- Compare the same app across countries and languages

### Input

| Field | What it does | Default |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Apps (IDs or Play Store URLs) (`appIds`) | Android package names or Google Play app URLs, for example com.spotify.music. | none |
| Country (`country`) | Two-letter store country code (us, gb, de, fr, in, br ...). Affects availability, prices and which reviews are shown. | us |
| Language (`language`) | Two-letter language code for store text (en, de, fr, es ...). | en |
| Parallel apps (`concurrency`) | How many apps or searches are processed at the same time. | 4 |

Example input:

```json
{
  "appIds": [
    "com.spotify.music",
    "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whatsapp"
  ],
  "country": "us",
  "language": "en"
}
```

### Output

Each app record contains: `appId`, `containsAds`, `contentRating`, `description`, `developer`, `developerEmail`, `developerId`, `developerWebsite`, `free`, `genre`, `genreId`, `headerImage`, `icon`, `inAppPurchases`, `installs`, `minInstalls`, `price`, `priceCurrency`, `ratingHistogram`, `ratingsCount`, `released`, `reviewsCount`, `score`, `scrapedAt`, `summary`, `title`, `type`, `updated`, `url`.

### How it works

The actor reads the public Google Play listing page for each app. It needs no account, no cookies and no browser, so runs are fast and light on memory. Country and language change which store edition is read, which affects availability, price and text.

### Pricing

You pay for what is returned.

### FAQ

**Do I need to log in or provide cookies?**
No. Only public listing data is collected.

**Can I pass full Play Store URLs?**
Yes. Package names and Play Store URLs both work, for example com.spotify.music.

**Why are some fields empty?**
Google does not show every field for every app, for example developer email or release date. Missing values are left empty.

**Are install numbers exact?**
No. Google Play publishes install bands such as 100,000,000+, plus a minimum number. Both are returned.

**Does it return reviews?**
No. Use the Google Play Reviews Scraper for reviews and the Google Play App Search Scraper to find apps by keyword.

### Limits

Only public store data is returned. An app unavailable in the chosen country returns no record. Requests can be rate-limited or refused by the source. A small test is not proof of sustained-volume performance. Use collected data lawfully and follow the source's terms.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "appIds": [
        "com.spotify.music"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("apt_marble/google-play-app-details-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
