## Pricing

from $0.40 / 1,000 reviews

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Play Reviews Scraper: reviews, ratings and developer replies

Collect public Android app reviews from Google Play with no login or cookies. Each review includes text, star rating, date, app version, helpful votes and the developer reply where one exists. Sort by newest, most helpful or rating, and filter to an exact star rating. Export results as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or pull them through the Apify API.

### What you can do with it

- Analyse customer feedback and complaints for your own or competitor apps
- Monitor new reviews and rating trends after a release
- Feed sentiment analysis, topic modelling or support dashboards
- Find recurring bugs by app version
- Study how developers respond to reviews

### Input

| Field | What it does | Default |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Apps (IDs or Play Store URLs) (`appIds`) | Android package names or Google Play app URLs, for example com.spotify.music. | none |
| Country (`country`) | Two-letter store country code (us, gb, de, fr, in, br ...). Affects availability, prices and which reviews are shown. | us |
| Language (`language`) | Two-letter language code for store text (en, de, fr, es ...). | en |
| Review sort order (`sort`) | Reviews mode only. Newest first, most relevant (helpful) first, or by rating. | newest |
| Only reviews with this star rating (`minRating`) | Reviews mode only. Set 1 to 5 to return only reviews with exactly that star rating. Leave 0 for all ratings. | 0 |
| Max reviews per app (`maxReviewsPerApp`) | Reviews mode only. Maximum number of reviews to collect for each app. | 100 |
| Parallel apps (`concurrency`) | How many apps or searches are processed at the same time. | 4 |

Example input:

```json
{
  "appIds": [
    "com.spotify.music"
  ],
  "country": "us",
  "language": "en",
  "sort": "newest",
  "minRating": 1,
  "maxReviewsPerApp": 200
}
```

### Output

Each review contains: `appId`, `appVersion`, `date`, `replyBy`, `replyDate`, `replyText`, `reviewId`, `score`, `text`, `thumbsUp`, `type`, `url`, `userImage`, `userName`. Developer reply fields are empty when the developer has not replied.

### Pricing

You pay for what is returned.

### FAQ

**Can I get only 1-star reviews?**
Yes. Set the star filter to 1. It selects exactly that rating.

**How many reviews can I collect per app?**
You set a maximum per app. The real number is limited by how many review pages Google makes available for that app, country and language.

**Do I need a login?**
No. Only public reviews are collected.

### Limits

Only public reviews are returned. Country and language affect which reviews appear. Very large review histories may not be fully available. Requests can be rate-limited or refused by the source. A small test is not proof of sustained-volume performance. Use collected data lawfully and follow the source's terms.
