## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Reverb Listings Search Scraper

Search **live Reverb listings** for any instrument, pedal, synth or piece of gear and get prices, condition, shipping, seller details and photos in a clean table.

### What you get

Prices, condition, shipping costs, seller reputation, location, demand signals and every photo for each listing.

### Input

- **Search term** - Brand, model or keyword.
- **Category** - Optional Reverb category slug, for example `electric-guitars` or `effects-and-pedals`.
- **Condition** - Brand New, Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor or Non-functional.
- **Minimum / maximum price** - Price range in USD.
- **Ships to** - Two-letter country code.
- **Sort by** - Best match, newest, or price.
- **Maximum results** - How many rows to collect.

Example input:

```json
{
  "query": "stratocaster",
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

### Output

Each result is one row in the dataset. You can download it as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read it through the Apify API.

- `image` - Thumbnail photo (first column)
- `id / title / url` - Listing ID, title and link
- `make, model, finish, year, condition` - What the item is
- `price, currency, originalPrice, priceDropPercent` - Current price and price drop
- `shippingToUS, shippingRates` - Shipping costs
- `sellerShop, sellerFeedbackCount, sellerRating` - Seller details
- `location, country` - Where the item ships from
- `views, watchers, offerCount` - Demand signals
- `description, photos` - Full text and every photo

Example result:

```json
{
  "image": "https://rvb-img.reverb.com/i/.../thumb.jpg",
  "id": 98282577,
  "title": "Fender Stratocaster Mary Kaye 1959",
  "make": "Fender",
  "model": "Stratocaster",
  "condition": "Very Good",
  "price": 59566.23,
  "currency": "USD",
  "priceDisplay": "$59,566.23",
  "priceDropPercent": 17,
  "sellerShop": "Guitar Sauce Italy",
  "url": "https://reverb.com/item/98282577-..."
}
```

### Good to know

- Runs are fast and need no cookies, logins or proxies from you.
- A search with no matches, or an input that is not valid, does not fail the run. It finishes as Succeeded with a short message and an example input.
- You pay per result row. Set **Maximum results** to control cost.
- Prices are returned in USD, as Reverb shows them to US buyers.

# Actor input Schema
