## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Skinport Item Prices Scraper

Get current Skinport market prices for CS2 skins and items from Dota 2, Rust and Team Fortress 2. Each row shows the lowest, highest, mean and median listed price, the suggested price and how many copies are listed.

### What you get

Live price data for the whole Skinport catalog, filtered the way you want.

### Input

- **Search text** - Part of the item name, for example "AK-47 | Redline". Leave empty for every item.
- **Game** - Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Rust or Team Fortress 2.
- **Currency** - Price currency.
- **Only items in stock** - Hide items with no current listings.
- **Minimum / maximum price** - Filter by lowest listed price.
- **Sort by** - Name, price or number of listings.
- **Maximum results** - How many items to return.

Example input:

```json
{
  "search": "AK-47 | Redline",
  "currency": "EUR",
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

### Output

Each result is one row in the dataset. You can download it as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read it through the Apify API.

- `marketHashName, version` - Item name and variant
- `suggestedPrice` - Skinport suggested price
- `minPrice, maxPrice, meanPrice, medianPrice` - Price spread of current listings
- `quantity` - Number of listings
- `itemUrl, marketUrl` - Skinport links
- `firstSeen, updatedAt` - Timestamps

Example result:

```json
{
  "marketHashName": "AK-47 | Redline (Field-Tested)",
  "currency": "EUR",
  "suggestedPrice": 26.1,
  "minPrice": 22.4,
  "maxPrice": 41.0,
  "meanPrice": 27.3,
  "medianPrice": 25.9,
  "quantity": 118,
  "itemUrl": "https://skinport.com/item/ak-47-redline-field-tested"
}
```

### Good to know

- Runs are fast and need no cookies, logins or proxies from you.
- A search with no matches, or an input that is not valid, does not fail the run. It finishes as Succeeded with a short message and an example input.
- You pay per result row. Set **Maximum results** to control cost.
- Prices are for current listings. For sold prices over time use the Skinport Sales History Scraper.

# Actor input Schema

## `search` (type: `string`):
