## Pricing

from $1.50 / 1,000 job postings

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Personio, Recruitee, SmartRecruiters & 7 more

**Scrape every public job posting from company career sites on 13 applicant tracking systems (ATS) in one run and one clean schema: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Personio, Recruitee, SmartRecruiters, Teamtailor, Workable, BambooHR, Breezy HR, Pinpoint, JazzHR and JOIN (join.com).** Paste career-page URLs, company domains, names or board slugs: the Actor **detects which ATS each company uses** and fetches its jobs, with salary ranges when published. Filter by keyword, location, country, remote and posting date. Then switch on **monitor mode (`onlyNew`)** and schedule it for **new-job alerts** with no duplicates. **$1.50 per 1,000 jobs**, platform usage included.

**Use it for:** niche job boards and aggregators · recruiting & staffing lead lists · hiring signals for B2B sales (Clay, CRM) · labour-market and salary research · personal job alerts across your favourite companies.

| ATS | Popular in | Data source |
|---|---|---|
| **Personio** | DACH, Spain, Netherlands | Public XML job feed (`{company}.jobs.personio.de/xml`) |
| **Recruitee** | Netherlands, EU | Public careers-site API (`{company}.recruitee.com/api/offers`) |
| **SmartRecruiters** | Global enterprises | Official Posting API |
| **Teamtailor** | Nordics, EU | Public job RSS feed (incl. custom career domains) |
| **BambooHR** | US/UK SMBs | Public careers JSON |
| **Workable** | Global SMBs | Public career-page API (rate-limited, paced politely) |
| **Breezy HR** | US SMBs | Public portal JSON |
| **Greenhouse** | US tech | Official Job Board API |
| **Lever** | US/EU tech | Official Postings API (US & EU instances) |
| **Ashby** | Startups | Official Job Posting API (with salary ranges) |
| **Pinpoint** | UK, US mid-market | Public postings JSON (`{company}.pinpointhq.com/postings.json`, with salary when shown) |
| **JazzHR** | US SMBs | Public XML job feed (`{company}.applytojob.com`) |
| **JOIN** | DACH, EU SMBs | Public company page + jobs API (`join.com/companies/{company}`, with salary when shown) |

No browser, no login, no proxies needed. The Actor reads the **public job feeds that the ATS vendors publish for job distribution**, so it is fast, cheap and reliable.

### What does ATS Jobs Scraper do?

- 🔎 **One input, thirteen ATSes.** Mix Personio, Recruitee, Teamtailor, Greenhouse, Lever… in one list. Every job comes back in the same fields: `company`, `title`, `department`, `location`, `country`, `remote`, `workplaceType`, `employmentType`, `salaryMin/Max/Currency`, `postedAt`, `applyUrl`, `descriptionText` and more.
- 🧭 **Automatic ATS detection.** Give it `knime.com` or `bunq` and it finds the board: it scans the company's website and career page for ATS links and embeds (including Teamtailor sites on custom domains), then probes the ATS APIs with likely slugs.
- 🔔 **New-job alerts without duplicates.** With `onlyNew`, the Actor remembers every job it has returned and next time returns **only new postings**. You are never charged twice for the same job.
- 🎯 **Filters that matter.** Whole-word keywords (`engineer` doesn't match `engineering`), exclude words (`intern`, `werkstudent`), locations, ISO countries, remote-only and "posted in the last N days".
- 💶 **Salary when published.** Ashby, Recruitee, Breezy, Lever, BambooHR, Pinpoint and JOIN often publish pay. It is normalised into `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod`, with the original text kept in `salaryText`.
- 🛡️ **Robust and polite.** Per-ATS request pacing, retries with back-off (honours `Retry-After`) and **per-company error isolation**: one broken career site never fails the run. A `RUN_SUMMARY` record shows exactly what happened for every company.
- 🔒 **Privacy by design.** Recruiter and hiring-manager fields are never read or output, and e-mail addresses and phone numbers are removed from descriptions.

### Who is it for?

- **Job-board and aggregator builders**: fill a niche board (DACH startups, Nordic tech, remote EU jobs) straight from employers' own ATS feeds.
- **Recruiting and staffing agencies**: watch a target list of companies and get a daily feed of new roles to pitch candidates for.
- **Sales teams using hiring signals**: "companies hiring a Head of Data in Germany" is a buying signal. Feed your CRM or Clay table with it.
- **HR-tech, labour-market and investment analysts**: track hiring velocity, departments, locations and salary bands across hundreds of companies.
- **Job seekers and communities**: a personal alert for every new remote "product manager" role at your 200 favourite companies.

### How to use it

1. Paste your **companies**, one per line. Any of these work:
   - an ATS board URL: `https://knime.jobs.personio.de`, `channable.recruitee.com`, `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`
   - a shorthand: `greenhouse:airbnb`, `personio:knime`, `teamtailor:iloq`
   - a domain or career page: `knime.com`, `https://godutch.com/werken-bij` (auto-detected)
   - a name or slug: `bunq` (auto-detected)
2. Optionally add **keywords**, **locations**, **countries**, **remote only** and **posted within (days)**.
3. Turn on **Include job description** if you need the full text.
4. Click **Start**. Results appear in the dataset with an *Overview* and a *Salaries* view. Export to Excel, CSV or JSON, or read them via API.

Know the ATS already? Use the `boards` field (`[{"ats": "bamboohr", "slug": "finbourne"}]`) or a shorthand to skip detection. That is faster and free of the detection fee.

#### ⏰ Daily new-job alerts (scheduling tip)

1. Set `onlyNew: true` and give the watchlist a name in `monitorId` (for example `dach-saas-engineering`).
2. In Apify Console go to **Schedules → Create schedule**, pick this Actor with its saved input, and run it **daily**.
3. Add an **integration** (email, Slack, Google Sheets, Make, Zapier, n8n or a webhook) to receive each day's new jobs.

Each run returns only jobs that appeared since the last run, and you only pay for those.

### Output example

One item per job (real record from a Recruitee board; description shortened):

```json
{
  "id": "recruitee:channable:2793226",
  "company": "Channable",
  "companySlug": "channable",
  "ats": "recruitee",
  "atsName": "Recruitee",
  "jobId": "2793226",
  "title": "Senior Engineering Manager - Core",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "location": "Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands",
  "city": "Utrecht",
  "region": "Utrecht",
  "country": "NL",
  "allLocations": ["Utrecht, Netherlands"],
  "remote": false,
  "workplaceType": "hybrid",
  "employmentType": "full-time",
  "salaryMin": 100000.0,
  "salaryMax": 120000.0,
  "salaryCurrency": "EUR",
  "salaryPeriod": "year",
  "salaryText": "100000–120000 EUR/year",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-22T12:11:23Z",
  "jobUrl": "https://jobs.channable.com/o/senior-engineering-manager-core",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.channable.com/o/senior-engineering-manager-core/c/new",
  "descriptionText": "At Channable, we're building the future of eCommerce automation…",
  "careersUrl": "https://channable.recruitee.com/",
  "input": "channable.recruitee.com",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-23T17:17:02Z"
}
```

Every field is always present (`null` or `[]` when the ATS doesn't publish it).

- `id`: globally unique `<ats>:<companySlug>:<jobId>`, safe as a primary key in your database.
- `remote` is `true` only for fully remote jobs; `workplaceType` is `remote`, `hybrid` or `onsite` when known.
- `employmentType` is normalised to `full-time`, `part-time`, `contract`, `internship` or `full-or-part-time` (unknown vendor values are kept as published).
- `country` is ISO 3166 alpha-2. Where a board only publishes a city (Personio offices), the country is inferred from major city names.
- `postedAt` is ISO 8601 UTC.

A per-run **`RUN_SUMMARY`** record in the default key-value store lists, for every company, the detected ATS and slug, how it was detected, jobs on the board, jobs matched, jobs returned, and any error.

### Pricing

**Pay-per-event**, platform usage included. You pay only for results:

| Event | Price | Cost per 1,000 | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| `job-result` | $0.0015 per job | **$1.50 per 1,000 jobs** | Each job saved to your dataset |
| `company-detected` | $0.005 per company | $5.00 per 1,000 companies | Only when the Actor had to discover the ATS (domain, name or custom career page). ATS URLs, `ats:slug` shorthands and `boards` entries are free |
| `apify-actor-start` | $0.00005 per run | $0.05 per 1,000 runs | Once per run |

- Jobs removed by your filters cost nothing. With `onlyNew`, jobs you already received are skipped and **never charged again**.
- Set a **maximum charge per run** in Apify Console; the Actor stops cleanly when the budget is reached.
- **Detection is cached for 30 days** (in the `stateStoreName` key-value store), so a scheduled watchlist pays the detection fee once, not every run.
- Example: a watchlist of 100 companies given as domains, returning ~30 new matching jobs a day, costs $0.50 once for detection plus about **$0.05/day** for the jobs (~$2/month).

### Limitations

- **Workable** rate-limits aggressively by IP. The Actor waits 3 s between Workable requests and gives up on a company (with a clear error in `RUN_SUMMARY`) if Workable asks it to wait more than 60 s. If many Workable companies fail, enable Apify Proxy in `proxyConfiguration`.
- **BambooHR** does not publish the posting date in its list, so the Actor makes one extra request per job to get `postedAt` (paced politely; capped by `maxDetailRequestsPerCompany`).
- Descriptions on **SmartRecruiters, Workable, Breezy and JOIN** need one extra request per job, so `includeDescription` (or `keywordScope: title_description`) makes those runs slower. They are free on Personio, Recruitee, Teamtailor, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Pinpoint and JazzHR.
- **Pinpoint** feeds carry no posting date (`postedAt` is `null`). **JazzHR** `postedAt` is the date the job was created in JazzHR. **JOIN** lists 5 jobs per API page, so the Actor reads at most 200 jobs per JOIN company, paced politely.
- **SmartRecruiters** employers can have thousands of postings. The listing is capped by `smartRecruitersMaxPages` (100 per page); with keywords the Actor uses SmartRecruiters' server-side search so large boards are still covered.
- **Personio** feeds list offices by city only, so `country` is inferred from a list of major cities and may be `null` for small towns.
- **Ashby and Lever** boards don't include the employer name in their API; the Actor reads it from the board's page title (falls back to the slug). Pass `company` in `boards` to set it yourself.
- Detection works when a company's website or career page links or embeds its ATS, or when its board slug matches its domain or name. Some sites block automated visits or load jobs with JavaScript from an unknown source; those companies show `not_detected` in `RUN_SUMMARY` and are not charged. Add them via `boards`.
- Postings with no published date are kept when `postedSinceDays` is set.

### FAQ

**Is this legal?**
The Actor reads only public job postings that employers publish for job seekers, through the public feeds and APIs ATS vendors provide for job distribution. It never logs in, never submits applications and doesn't output personal data: recruiter and hiring-manager fields are ignored, and e-mail addresses and phone numbers are removed from descriptions. As always, use the data in line with the terms of the sites and your local law.

**How do I find out which ATS a company uses?**
You don't need to. Add the company's domain (`acme.com`) or name and the Actor detects it. The detected ATS and slug are listed in `RUN_SUMMARY` and cached for 30 days, so later runs skip detection (and its fee). If a cached board disappears, it is re-detected on the next run.

**How fresh is the data?**
Live. Every run reads the company's board at that moment, so closed jobs disappear and new ones appear immediately.

**How does `onlyNew` work across runs?**
Job ids are stored in a named key-value store (`ats-jobs-state` by default, one record per `monitorId`) for 120 days. Use a different `monitorId` per watchlist. To reset, delete that record or change the `monitorId`.

**What happens if a career site is down or a company has no board?**
That company is marked `failed`, `not_found` or `not_detected` in `RUN_SUMMARY` and every other company still returns results. The run only fails if no company could be fetched.

**How do I schedule daily job alerts?**
Set `onlyNew: true` and a `monitorId`, then in Apify Console open **Schedules → Create schedule** and run the saved input daily or hourly. Each run returns only postings you have not received before.

**How much does a first test run cost?**
The prefilled input (5 companies on 5 different ATSes, max 10 jobs each) returns at most 50 jobs, i.e. under $0.08, in well under a minute.

**Can I use it from code, Make, Zapier, n8n or an AI agent?**
Yes. Call it through the Apify API, the Python/JS clients, integrations, or Apify's MCP server, and read the dataset as JSON.

**Which ATS is next?**
Pinpoint, JazzHR and JOIN (join.com) were added in October 2026. Workday is on the list. Open an issue to request another.

**Which job platforms does it cover?** Greenhouse jobs, Lever jobs, Ashby jobs, Personio jobs, Recruitee jobs, SmartRecruiters jobs, Teamtailor jobs, Workable jobs, BambooHR jobs, Breezy HR jobs, Pinpoint (pinpointhq.com) jobs, JazzHR (applytojob.com) jobs and JOIN (join.com) jobs.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One company per line. Accepted: an ATS board URL (https://acme.jobs.personio.de, https://jobs.lever.co/acme), a career page or domain (acme.com, https://acme.com/careers), an 'ats:slug' shorthand (greenhouse:airbnb, personio:knime) or a bare name/slug (channable). ATS URLs and shorthands are free; domains, names and custom career pages are auto-detected (charged once per company as 'company-detected'; detections are cached for 30 days, so scheduled runs don't pay again).

## `boards` (type: `array`):

Optional explicit boards, skipping detection: \[{"ats": "bamboohr", "slug": "finbourne", "company": "Finbourne"}]. ats is one of personio, recruitee, smartrecruiters, teamtailor, bamboohr, workable, breezy, greenhouse, lever, ashby, pinpoint, jazzhr, join. For Teamtailor career sites on a custom domain, use the host as slug (careers.acme.com).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Return jobs matching ANY keyword (whole-word, case-insensitive; phrases allowed, e.g. "data engineer"). Leave empty for all jobs.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose TITLE contains any of these words (whole-word), e.g. intern, werkstudent, senior.

## `keywordScope` (type: `string`):

Where keywords are searched. 'Title & description' is broader but, on SmartRecruiters, BambooHR, Workable, Breezy and JOIN, needs one extra request per job.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location mentions ANY of these (whole-word), e.g. Berlin, London, Remote. Leave empty for all.

## `countries` (type: `array`):

ISO 3166 alpha-2 codes (DE, NL, GB, US…). A job passes when any of its locations is in one of these countries. Fully remote jobs without a stated country are kept.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only fully remote jobs (hybrid is excluded).

## `postedSinceDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs posted in the last N days. Jobs whose board doesn't publish a date are kept. Leave empty for all open jobs.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the full description as plain text (descriptionText). Free on Personio, Recruitee, Teamtailor, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Pinpoint and JazzHR; on SmartRecruiters, Workable, Breezy and JOIN it costs one extra polite request per job, so runs are slower. E-mail addresses and phone numbers are always removed.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Newest jobs first. You are charged per job returned.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap on jobs returned by the whole run.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Remember every job returned and, on later runs, return only jobs not seen before. Use with a Schedule for new-job alerts; you are never charged twice for the same job. State is kept in a named key-value store for 120 days.

## `monitorId` (type: `string`):

Name of this watchlist, so different searches keep separate 'already seen' lists (e.g. 'dach-saas-engineering'). Only used with onlyNew.

## `stateStoreName` (type: `string`):

Named key-value store where onlyNew remembers seen job ids and where detected boards are cached for 30 days.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many companies are processed at once. Each ATS still gets its own polite request pacing.

## `maxDetailRequestsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Safety cap on per-job detail requests (descriptions on SmartRecruiters/Workable/Breezy/JOIN, posted date on BambooHR).

## `smartRecruitersMaxPages` (type: `integer`):

SmartRecruiters lists 100 postings per page. Large employers have thousands; with keywords the Actor uses SmartRecruiters' server-side search instead.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Usually not needed. Workable rate-limits by IP; if many Workable companies fail with 429, enable Apify Proxy.
