## Pricing

from $0.16 / 1,000 community profile results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Use this X (Twitter) Community members scraper to export visible **members, administrators, and moderators** from any public Community into a ready-to-use Dataset. Paste a Community URL or numeric ID, choose the profiles you need, and get structured results without providing an X login, cookies, API key, or proxy.

### What can this Actor collect?

- Visible member profiles from a public X Community
- The Community administrator and available moderators
- User IDs, usernames, names, profile links, and avatars
- Community roles such as `Admin`, `Moderator`, and `Member`
- Standard and X Premium verification status
- Protected-account status
- A run summary showing how many profiles and pages were collected

### Popular use cases

- Build an audience list for a public Community
- Identify Community administrators and moderators
- Research who participates in Communities in your market
- Export profiles to JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or RSS
- Schedule recurring exports and connect the Dataset to other tools

### How to use it

1. Paste one X Community link or numeric ID.
2. Choose **Members** or **Administrators and moderators**.
3. Set the maximum number of profiles to save. Use `0` to collect all profiles currently available through X pagination.
4. Run the Actor and open the Dataset to review or export the results.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "community": "https://x.com/i/communities/1918880733730603290",
  "peopleToCollect": "moderators",
  "maxProfiles": 100
}
```

### Input settings

| Setting | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **X Community link or ID** | One public Community link, such as `https://x.com/i/communities/1918880733730603290`, or its numeric ID. |
| **Profiles to collect** | Export visible members, or only the administrator and moderators. |
| **Profiles to save (0 = all available)** | Maximum profiles saved in this run. Set `0` to follow all pages currently made available by X. |

### Example result

Each successful Dataset item represents one Community profile:

```json
{
  "status": "success",
  "community_id": "1918880733730603290",
  "community_url": "https://x.com/i/communities/1918880733730603290",
  "collection_type": "moderators",
  "community_role": "Admin",
  "user_id": "1366752206058180608",
  "screen_name": "victor_explore",
  "name": "Victor",
  "profile_url": "https://x.com/victor_explore",
  "profile_image_url": "https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/1891322636409651200/ZaOX3e5t_normal.jpg",
  "verified": false,
  "is_blue_verified": true,
  "protected": false
}
```

The Actor also stores a separate run summary with the number of profiles saved, pages scanned, and the reason pagination ended.

### Pricing

This Actor uses **pay per event**. A `community-profile-result` event is charged only for each successful member, administrator, or moderator profile saved to the Dataset. Invalid inputs, unavailable Communities, empty results, and diagnostic status rows do not trigger a profile-result charge.

An `apify-actor-start` event covers the fixed cost of starting a run. See the Actor's **Pricing** tab for the currently active start fee, result prices, and subscription discounts; it remains the source of truth while scheduled pricing changes are pending. You can also set **Maximum cost per run** in Apify Run options.

### How many members can be exported?

`maxProfiles` is a maximum, not a guarantee. Setting it to `0` means the Actor follows every page that X currently returns. For some very large Communities, X may expose fewer profiles through pagination than the member count displayed on the Community page. The Actor reports the actual saved total in the run summary.

### Empty or unavailable Communities

Invalid links produce an `invalid_input` status row. If a valid-looking Community ID is unavailable, private, deleted, or has no visible profiles, the Dataset contains a readable `no_results` row instead of failing the whole run. Profiles saved before a later request problem remain available.
