## Pricing

from $3.50 / 1,000 companies

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Company Hiring Signals: Who Is Hiring at 9,000+ Companies

See **which companies are hiring right now, for what and where**. One row per company with its open
jobs, **jobs posted in the last 7, 30 and 90 days**, job functions (engineering, sales, data & AI,
healthcare...), seniority mix, countries, remote share and **salary ranges**, from the career sites
of 9,000+ companies on **Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever and Workday** (~930,000 open jobs, refreshed daily).

Filter by job title ("data engineer", "account executive", "nurse"), location, job function or a
list of companies, and sort by what matters to you: fastest hiring, most open roles or growth.

Built for **sales and recruiting teams** (find companies hiring for the roles you sell into or place),
**investors and analysts** (hiring as a growth signal) and **job seekers** (who is hiring in my field).

  departments.
- **Where:** jobs per country, top locations, remote/hybrid/on-site share.

With job filters set, `matching_jobs` and every signal count only the matching jobs (for example only
data engineers in Germany), while `open_jobs` stays the company's whole board.

### ⚙️ Input

| Parameter | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|

| `excludeKeywords` | none | Ignore titles with these words, e.g. `["intern"]`. |
| `locations` | none | Countries, US states, cities or `remote`. |
| `jobFunctions` | all | `engineering`, `data_ai`, `sales`, `marketing`, `product`, `design`, `customer`, `people`, `finance`, `legal`, `healthcare`, `operations`, `trades`, `retail_hospitality`, `it_security`, `management`, `other`. |

| `employmentTypes` | all | `full_time`, `part_time`, `contract`, ... |

| `minMatchingJobs` | `1` | Only companies with at least this many matching open jobs. |
| `minNewJobs30d` | `0` | Only companies that posted at least this many matching jobs in 30 days. |

### 🧪 Input examples

**Companies hiring data engineers in Germany:**

```json
{ "keywords": ["data engineer", "machine learning engineer"], "locations": ["Germany"], "maxItems": null }
```

**US companies building sales teams fast (20+ new sales jobs in 30 days):**

```json
{ "jobFunctions": ["sales"], "locations": ["US"], "minNewJobs30d": 20, "sortBy": "hiringShare", "maxItems": null }
```

**Track a list of accounts:**

```json
{ "companies": ["Stripe", "openai", "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"], "maxItems": null }
```

**Remote-first companies hiring engineers:**

```json
{ "jobFunctions": ["engineering"], "workplaceTypes": ["remote"], "minMatchingJobs": 10, "sortBy": "openJobs" }
```

Run it weekly with an Apify Schedule and send the results to Google Sheets, a CRM or Slack to catch
companies the moment they start hiring.

### 🤖 Use it from an AI assistant

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client to Apify's MCP server and ask:

- "Which companies are hiring the most nurses in Texas?" → `jobFunctions: ["healthcare"]`, `locations: ["Texas"]`
- "Is Stripe hiring more engineers lately?" → `companies: ["Stripe"]`, `jobFunctions: ["engineering"]`
- "Find startups hiring their first salespeople" → `jobFunctions: ["sales"]`, `ats: ["ashby"]`, `sortBy: "hiringShare"`

Each run's status message sums it up ("928725 jobs from 9417 companies read: 54 companies match...").

### ℹ️ Good to know

- **Coverage:** companies whose career site runs on Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever or Workday (most
  US/European tech companies and many large employers). Companies on other systems (their own
  careers site, iCIMS, SuccessFactors...) aren't included. A company you name that isn't in the index
  is read live from its Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever or Workable board; Workday companies need their board URL.
- **New jobs** are counted by the date the employer posted them. Some boards don't give a date
  (`jobs_without_posted_date`).
- **Trends and closed jobs** come from a daily snapshot of every board that started on 2026-10-28:
  7-day fields fill in from early November, 30-day fields from late November. Workday boards are
  snapshotted three times a week.
- **Job functions and seniority** are classified from job titles: good for comparing companies, not
  perfect for every single title.
- **Company websites/domains** aren't included yet; the career page link identifies the company.
- Job postings come from the companies' public job boards; no personal data is collected.

### ❓ FAQ

**How is this different from a jobs scraper?** A jobs scraper returns one row per job. This returns
one row per company with the signals already counted, so 900,000 jobs become a list of the companies
you care about. For the jobs themselves, see the
[Career Site Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/artsiom_k/career-site-jobs-scraper).

**How fresh is it?** The index is refreshed every day (`index_updated_at` on every row).

**What does a run cost?** One result per company returned; a run's platform cost is a cent or two.
